One of the worst company’s I have ever ordered a nife from. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and it’s still saying processing in the warehouse. I’m a collector and literally have ordered 10 knives since then and they all arrived within days even from out of the country. Cold steel you mass produce these in a warehouse not making it individually by hand. Get it together and get my stuff shipped maybe sometime the fire the month ends smdh. Last purchase I ever make from cold steel.
They don't even have replacement Pocket Clips???
Received a pocket knife as a gift. I work outside, so a good knife has to go everywhere with you. I ended up breaking the pocket clip on it and when I contacted customer support to ask how I can buy another clip(I wasn't even complaining, I was totally willing to pay for it) I was told they don't sell just the clip!!! So the knives are basically pointless after that. I am not going to buy a knife that I can't even replace the pocket clip on, no matter how good of a blade it is. Benchmade will literally mail me one free of charge same day.

The quality isn't the same.
I have only started buying Cold Steel knives within the last couple of years, and most of the knives that I'd gotten from them are pretty good. But I'm sure that's because those ones are models from Lynn Thompson's time as owner, 'cause since GSM took over, the steel quality of their new knives has gone down a lot but the prices are going up. I save my 5-star rating for Lynn Thompson's cold steel, when they cared about how much their customers spent for good quality knives.

Do NOT do business with GSM or Cold Steel. Their business model has devolved considerably and they do not treat customers well at all. I put in a $400 order, tried to cancel it 2 hours later and they refused - made me receive the package and mail it back at my own expense ($90) and won’t refund the shipping. Not to mention this was over 3 weeks ago and they won’t respond to my follow up inquiries and no refund has been posted to my cc. Cold steel has fallen off I encourage everyone to do their business elsewhere with a company that actually takes care of its customers. I say all this as a ten+ year customer of cold steel. Do not do business with cold steel or it’s parent company GSM ever again

Ordered a knife directly from them then 2 weeks ago. Order is still processing. I called and was told several people had ordered knives and o ly got sheaths so it might take awhile. Not at all what you would expect from a company like this

Purchased a City Stick several years ago. Lost the rubber tip, contacted Cold Steel support for a replacement. Received this:

Unfortunately, we do not have replacement hardware available to send. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I liked the cane, but it is not nearly as nice without the rubber tip, and replacement parts are not available.
Cold Steel Leatherneck
This is my first and most likely the last experience with Cold Steel knives.
About 2 weeks ago I purchased a Leatherneck SF knife.
However, despite a brutal look, the product itself has several serious flaws.
First: the sheath. Although the Secure-Ex sheath has a very convenient design (it can be attached to a MOLLE system or to a belt at almost any position or angle), it sucks a lot. Inserting the blade in and pulling it out not only ruins the coating, but also dulls the blade. I did not purchase this goddamn knife to sharpen it each time I pull it out.
Second: the coating. It’s thin and weak. I’m going to coat it with Cerakote, although Cold Steel support claims that dismantling the knife may "compromise the product’s functionality". I have no idea, what functionality they’re talking about, when a brand new knife can not cut a pizza. A pizza, Carl! Moreover, when I managed to dismantle the knife completely, I found out that there is no coating under the guard. A bad idea, especially with a non-stainless blade. The guard itself wobbles a little, and it’s really irritating me.
Third, the sharpening itself. I had to resharpen the blade completely, since it seemed to me that its cutting edge was made by a drunken sharpener.

If they have such little interest in their customer's before we hand over our hard earned cash, I can only imagine the nightmare they would be to deal with if you had a warranty issue. It's very clear that Cold Steel don't understand the importance of good customer service or just basic simple good manners.

Customer service of the new coldsteel is dreadful . Part missing with my purchase and they are just saying sorry we can't get it . I paid for it but they can't get it and won't be sending the missing part that's awfull . So disappointed .

They didn't send one of the machetes I ordered. Emailed with no responses and my call conveniently keeps getting dropped.
Their customer service is non-existent
They will ignore your emails. You have no warranty as they will ignore you and they don't stand behind their product!
I bought a damaged knife (the blade is pretty schratched up out of the box, and opening action is kinda gritty), seller can only offer a refund as that same knife is out of stock since I bought one of last pieces.
Both, me and the seller have sent numerous e-mails to Cold Steel - NO REPLY!

This is the worst place to order from
This is the worst place to order from. I ordered my product on dec 1. Made me pay $16.00 shipping and it still hasn’t arrived. When I call they tell me the tracking number is invalid.. How is that when they create the tracking number? So low and behold they have no idea where my package is. I asked for a refund and it will take 10-14 business days. WHAT A CRAPPY PLACE. How they stay in business with such crappy complaints is beyond me. Then you have to give out information that is not necessary for me post a review.
Shame on me...
I gave this company a second chance and I regret it. I waited weeks for my order and finally had to give up and cancel half of my order just to get them to send me the one item they did have. I have also experienced total failure of one of their knives; sent that in but its on "back order" too. Would not suggest them to anyone. Especially if you value your time-they won't. I should also mention that the knife that failed totally on me did so under very light use; I wouldn't try any of those cool things they do in their videos.

I ordered one of their marauder knives but not directly from their website. The blade I received was very dull so I contacted them and this is what I got
Cold Steel: "We'd be happy to sharpen it or replace it if you bought it from us!"
So,because I did not buy their product directly from their website they will not assist me at all. Terrible customer service, I will never order another product of theirs from anywhere. I would stay away from cold steel if you value good customer service.
