What an amazing company Cole & Mason is and such a breath of fresh air in todays world. Absolutely world class customer service, delivered efficiently, with clarity and promptly.

And on top of this amazing products that last forever…. unless one of your family drops one onto a hard tiled floor!

Ten years ago I inherited two sets of (what I now know are model 505) salt and pepper mills from my mother who herself had owned and used them regularly for over 50 years - and they still worked perfectly! We loved them and always had them on our table in two lovely Royal Worcester small dishes.

Then my son dropped one and the acrylic base ‘glazed’ badly so I purchased what I thought was a replacement. Lovely product, but it was a different size - my mistake. So I contacted Cole & Mason (thinking that our product was a discontinued model) and asked ‘on the off chance’ if they had any of my mothers model in ‘old stock’. Photos were attached!

An immediate reply from the amazing Pheobe simply stated ‘no problem’ and that they had sent me a replacement set FOC.

I am truly so grateful as this means so much to my family and I will be telling everyone I can what an amazing old established British company this is that we should all be so proud of. The customer service is exceptional, but the products themselves are of such high quality. Thank you, you have been amazing!

Excellent customer service, beyond my expectation. Problem with pepper mill 18 months after purchase. Not able to alter grain size due to fault plastic but. Requested replacement but - received new pepper mill within days. Overwhelmed!

Very prompt reply and follow up to my query regarding my salt mill where the metal parts had corrosion on them and the adjuster knob had fallen off. Very pleased that, with the life guarantee, they replaced it. Was delighted.

Lifetime product warranty excellent. Unfortunately product was discontinued, so replacement accepted. Works perfectly, but I miss the experience of the old product.

I bought a pepper Mill four years ago and it stopped grinding. When I contacted Cole & Mason regarding their Lifetime Guarantee they told me that this model was now obsolete do sent me a voucher to purchase a new one for more money than I originally paid. Very happy.

I bought some additional spice jars for my rack. These were shipped with the wrong lids, and customer service immediately ordered a replacement set and got them out to me with no fuss. Great products and customer service to match.

I have had my Manhattan salt and pepper mills for the best part of 20 years. Cole and Mason have already replaced a grinder section for the salt mill free of charge a few years ago. Recently I asked if they could send me another replacement. They have replied that they no longer make that model but have supplied a very generous credit against a new set from their website. Such a rarity to find a company truly loyal to it’s customers which reflects on the quality of the company and brand.

Excellent quality products from a long-standing British brand! When there is a problem, as there was with the grinder mechanism on my 7 yr old pepper mill, their customer service is second to none. Phoebe could not have been more helpful in resolving the issue. I am delighted with the outcome and will be a customer for life. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

Have owned a salt and pepper mill for 20 years plus. When part of the grinding mechanism finally wore out they were repaired and new parts provided without fuss and in a timely fashion. Very happy with the after sales service provided.

It was a great pleasure in today's age of asinine, looping, automated 'helpline' oubliettes to actually speak to a very nice human being when I called up. She dealt with my problem (replacement mechanism for a pepper mill) with courtesy and efficiency. Highly recommended!

My previous C&M pepper grinder (part of a set) which had a Lifetime Guarantee broke, so I contacted them to ask for advice. They requested photos and sizes then said because the set was now obsolete that they couldn’t offer a like for like replacement. However they very kindly offered a £30 voucher which I used to put towards a new set. Delivery was speedy and the set was extremely well packaged.

Cole and Mason salt and pepper mills are the best and last for many, many years. When they stop working as effectively as before the company has a life time guarantee policy which they honour immediately and without quibbling. They answered me at once and Phoebe courteously informed me that a new set of mills would be in the post within 3 -5 working days. Exceptional old fashioned service and so much appreciated.

I rang Cole & Mason as our Beech Capstan pepper mill had stopped working. In the conversation I was told it had a lifetime guarantee and could I send images of the broken part.
I received an email later saying the part had been dispatched this arrived and I fitted it, we now have a working pepper mill.
The professional and courteous way my issue was sorted quickly, was a bonus.
