I completed my application for a direct cremation over the phone. This proved to be a very quick, efficient service. 20 minutes and everything was finalised. Peace of mind now for my family

I was buying a funeral plan for a relative and we had a slightly unusual two part format, being interred far from home. Marcia Mills explained all the options and it was very easy to arrange the first part straight away. She told me how to work with a distant Co-op Funeralcare branch when the time comes to arrange the final parts of the plan and she was able to indicate what some of the external costs might be. Also we can continue to liaise via my local branch about some of the details. I chose the Co-op because of their many years of experience and I trust them. My local branch is a 5 minute walk from my house so it is also very convenient. The office was lovely, very calm and comfortable and I had as much time as I needed to discuss options. I would certainly recommend the Co-op and will definitely engage them for the second part of the funeral plan when the time comes. Thank you Marcia.

We had Sharon at co-op winton, Bournemouth and to say she was incredible is an understatement. She was a superhero and really helped to ensure everything was managed perfectly. Kept me updated throughout, took care of all of the little bits and ensured the funeral went smoothly. She made phone calls just to check in during the process and follow up calls as well. She was absolutely fantastic and I couldnt have managed my mums funeral without her.

Kerry led us through the whole process and made it easy to understand. Although very professional she was also very friendly too. I wanted to use a service that had a good reputation rather than an online service. I would highly recommend the Co-op Funeral care.

So easy, great staff, all sorted

My late Mother had 2 over 50 policies with Sunlife which she had paid into for years. One of them had £250 funeral benefit attached meaning
if you went with the co-op you received an extra £250 towards the funeral. The funeral is arranged for 21st October and it wasnt until 19th October that I was advised that we needed to pay for the flowers we had chosen up front. As I am myself a pensioner and live alone I was unable to make a payment. The staff were just full of endless meaningless platitudes so I asked to speak to the manager. He was rude and unprofessional and said that I could take my business elsewhere. I am grieving and his manner is absolutely disgraceful ! I would NEVER recommend this company to deal with your loved one.

Everything explained to me. Made sure I had a plan that was suited to my needs. They took very good care of my Mum when she passed suddenly. Very caring and friendly Made sure her funeral was what we wanted.
