The young lady made everything simple for what is not always an easy thing to approach.

Very friendly and sympathetic; very well explained.
Not as much choice as there was several years ago, but sufficient for our needs

I have arranged and attended funerals for my wonderful parents through Co-op Funeralcare. Their staff were very professional and compassionate. The service was brilliant. I have now arranged my own funeral through them. I highly recommend them.

Sadly this is the second time in as many months that I have needed to use the Triumph Road branch in Nottingham.
I cannot begin to say how sensitively, kindly and attentively they looked after our family.
Andrew was our assigned funeral director on both occasions…what a star ⭐ I could not have had anyone better to help me navigate planning a funeral (twice)
His patience and kindness were amazing and he made two traumatic days so easy. He is an absolute credit to your firm

Straightforward pleasant discussion about purchasing a funeral plan. Very Helpful staff that clearly discussed the ins and outs of the the plan, that made the whole process easy.

The lady that I seen was very friendly, she explained everything to me step by step, and always asked if I had any questions when she had informed me about everything.

Marcia was very calm and pleasant and made the whole experience more endurable.

Catherine at the Sale branch was absolutely first class. We could not recommend her high enough. She was compassionate and so caring. We as a family felt that our late mum was being looked after with such kindness and care and at such a sad time this was very reassuring.
The funeral went very smoothly and that was due to Catherine and her colleagues. Thank you.

The representative, a lovely lady, was very friendly and helpful in advising which funeral plan to take and was very professional in making the arrangements for the plan my husband and I decided on.

I wanted to purchase a funeral plan. Debbie was excellent, going through all the points carefully and listening to all wishes and my questions regarding the plan.

It's not something anyone likes to do but from the minute I went in Darel made me feel so comfortable and explained everything in such a nice way, I'm glad I did it, it took me nearly a year to do it but now its done and family and friends don't need to worry.

The lady who helped us (Claire) was very professional. She explained things very clearly. Made us feel at ease. We have recommended co op funeral service to our friends.

I was treated well at the Heaton chapel branch of the funeral care. Given good support in creating my plan. Friendly and efficient.

Our planner Louise was very helpful, understanding and professional. They explained everything in a clear and simple way so we could make informed choices and they guided us to the best solution for our needs.

A few hiccups to start with. But was all amended quickly. Spoke with a lady on the phone who put my mind at rest. The lady was so helpful and polite.

My Mum had held a funeral plan she purchased 30 years ago. When she sadly passed we had an appointment to siscuss what was in the plan, whilst there we were asked if we wanted a finger print done and if we wanted a lock pf hair. We agreed to both and ordered 6 finger prints to be taken and 6 loxks of hair for family members. The plan had her death announcement to go into the local paper. Not beong familiar woth this situation we assumed that they would do the necessary. The funwral date was set all paperwork filed and i visited Mum on 2 seperate occasions. It was never mentioned about her death announcement till we realised it hadnt gone into the paper the week bedore the funeral, only to be told you didnt tell us whqt you wanted putting in. Samples were not taken of a finger print till the day before the funeral and then only 2 fingwr prints taken . It is an upsetting time when you loose a loved parent and the plan my Mum bought she believed would make life easier for us at that time. I was so angry at the time as these were things i hadnt asked for initially but had been offered and then not given. This is a rime to remwmber and celebrate a loved one no to be mithering trying to get things promised done.I am very upset about it not beong put in the paper this is onw of my Mums wishes that was not fullfilled and it breaks my heart as people who knew her didnt find out till afterwards.

Saltash Branch. At such a traumatic time as arranging a funeral, the people in Saltash, in particular Michala, could not have been more caring, guiding me through the processes. Nothing was any trouble.
On the day of the funeral, my funeral director, Charlotte again such care and respect of my late husband, me and my family and friends. On the drive to the crematorium we were accompanied by an escort of cars, our chauffeurse made sure that everyone stayed together.
The celebrant, Emma, conducted the service so beautifully, it all went so smoothly.
I asked that I should be on my own for the last few minutes. Charlotte and the other ushers gently guided other family members and friends away from the chapel, guarding me too. That enabled me to say my final goodbyes in privacy and peace.
A heartfelt thank you from myself and my family.

Hugely disappointed with the totality.
I am a 70 year old man who decided to make plans for my eventual demise.
I set up a plan and apparently deeply contained within the paperwork were the usuary costs.
Coop claim instalments plans cost them money, yet they have my money for years and have the ability to invest it thus earn more money than the minimal costs of pressing a few buttons to set it up.
If I don’t approve I can end the policy, I will lose my £443 fees plus an extra charge of £125.
This company is NOT there for its members unless it’s to bleed them dry!
Sadly the response from the company isn’t helpful as all they did when I contacted them was to offer to cancel it so I lost ALL my fees PLUS a cancellation charge of £125 too!
They just don’t get the fact that if I live another ten years they have mt money already so they can invest it to make even more money!
I was naive enough to believe that the coop would prioritise MEMBERS not corporate profits!
