Always worn and recommended Costas to everyone. But I recently purchased a pair of white tip pros for me and all I did was remove them from my face from wearing them. The arm broke in half so I submitted a claim now I'm told they are out of warranty but they offer a 2 year warranty. Costa Sunglasses started making the Whitetip PRO, the latest addition to their PRO series, on March 25, 2024. I purchased November 24th 2024. I can't even buy just the arm and repair it myself. They offered a coupon to put towards another pair of $154 the glasses are $309 on their site smh, all I want. Is my glasses replaced I thought paying 300+ dollars for good sunglasses from a reputable company would be the best bet for my investment… that has truly not been the case.

I’m a fishing guide in Alaska. I used to push coasters to all my clients until today. I was walking the beach in Hawaii. Sit down in the sand stared up at the sun. I was just sitting there. I heard a crack took my glasses off seen a crack in the corner and left hand lens on the inside only I contacted them mind you I paid almost $300 for these glasses I own several pair of them they said they’ll give me a discount on a new pair that’s crazy. Why would I pay for another pair if I can’t get the first pair fixed? I’m going back to Oakley and Maui Jim’s pushing those on my clients mind you I get thousands of clients every year.

I was denied warranty on two pair of sunglasses that were bought before November 2022. The nose pieces on both pair were coming off. One pair is warped. I've bought several pair over the years and never had a problem getting them fixed under warranty. The last pair i had replaced under warranty, they didn't make the same pair so I got to choose a different pair. When they arrived, the glass lense were loose in the frame and they wouldn't cover them. I love Costas but the quality has went downhill and even though I got a 50% off code, I'll be spending my money elsewhere. Sad to see such poor service on what used to be a great product.

I love Costa products and have used them for years, BUT I recently tried ordering prescription sunglasses and it has turned into such a hassle I almost went to a different company had they not given me 20% off for their mistakes. The first time they said they cant make my prescription in glass and i need to reorder them in plastic. Then they couldnt make my prescription in the plastic lenses for the glasses i wanted. BEWARE prescription sunglasses can only be made for certain models of sunglasses and depending on prescription can only be made in plastic or glass lenses. They should fix this issue ASAP by showing what they can offer based on your prescription. I think this will be the last time i order from here now looking for other brands.

Most Frustrating Customer Service Ever
This review is about their customer service, not their products. I love their sunglasses and their apparel. But their customer service is horrible. I have tried to order a new pair of prescription sunglasses for the past month. I had to call the customer service line 5 times to place the order. The first two people I spoke with were genuinely kind and wanted to help. But both messed up the order, and then had to cancel the order. The third time I called in the representative once again insisted on placing the order for me. They did not enter a prescription so the lab that cuts the lenses cancelled the order. I then called back once again and expressed my frustration. I placed this order two weeks earlier and now I had wasted that much time waiting on new sunglasses. This agent was apologetic and insisted on placing a new order for me, it once again was wrong and had to be cancelled. When I called back again for the 5th time a representative supposedly submitted my order. They gave me an order number but it is not attached to my account. To make matters worse I got a shipping notification a week after this order was supposedly placed. I tried to not get my hopes up, the package arrived in a huge box. No sunglasses, just a free hat that came with the purchase. I now have no way of knowing if I will receive the sunglasses the agent ordered for me, or any proof that I ordered them at all, aside from a charge on my credit card. I am literally speechless, I have tried five times to spend money because I used to think these products are worth it, but I don't feel that way anymore. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Der Verkäufer Costa Del Mar / Luxottica Spa Group erstellt teilweise keine Rechnungen oder Kaufbelege, eine Retoure der Ware wird dadurch und durch eine fehlende Adresse sowie nicht offensichtlich zu erhaltende Retourenlabels erschwert ermöglich.
Nie wieder ein Kauf bei Luxottica, Costa Del Mar etc!

Had my corbinas for 20yrs. The fit is amazing, the clarity is amazing. The rubber nose piece fell off. Bummer they would not repair or replace. it’s a name like this I expected better. BUT, they gave me 50% off new purchase. I just hope I get 20 more yrs out of them.

I recently upgraded to the Spearo XLs after years of reliable use from my Ray-Bans, expecting a performance boost. Unfortunately, the experience has been a letdown. While reaching for an item on a grocery store shelf, the glasses slipped off my face and hit the floor… a minor fall, nothing dramatic. To my surprise, one of the lenses shattered on impact.
In all my years of wearing sunglasses, I’ve never had a pair break so easily from such an insignificant drop. For a product marketed as durable and built for active use, this level of fragility is unacceptable. I’ve owned cheaper pairs that have survived far worse.
Very disappointed, especially given the price.

Costa has always given absolutely fabulous customer service and I love their products as well. Anytime I've had an issue I call them and they take care of it. And I like the fact that I can buy glass sunglasses and glass prescription glasses from this company as these are much more durable products. As long as they continue the great service they will have a loyal customer for me.
trying to make a return has been a nightmare.
tried to cancel the order before it shipped, which the customer rep that I spoke to on the phone said would be no problem. only to get a follow up email a day later informing me I would need to wait until I receive the item and then send it back. keep in mind the item had not even shipped at this point.
now im stuck trying to return the item and apparently they can't find my order ID.

One of the glass lenses (blue) in my Costa Fisch developed a 2 cm crack at the corner right where the 580 etching is. The frame is still in mint condition, and there are no scratches on either lens besides the crack, and I have no recollection of how it happened. I only wear the Costa sunglasses in a casual environment. I have different pairs of sunglasses I use for outdoor activities as well as wearing my prescription sunglasses. I submitted a service request and was declined; it was a manufacturing defect, and they wanted to charge $140 for warranty. I was also given the option to purchase just new lenses, which is $123. I contacted them and asked if I could just purchase the one lens that is cracked; however, I was denied, stating I need to purchase the pair. For $123, I'm going to purchase a new pair of sunglasses. It won't be Costa Del Mar, rather a better brand. I was also offered a 50% coupon, but this only applies to regular-priced sunglasses on their website. Like the majority of the recent reviews, Costa Del Mar and EssilorLuxottica have gone downhill, and their warranty is virtually nonexistent. I'm not surprised that Costa Del Mar sunglasses has lost its popularity after speaking to a few opticians recently. I'll definitely be looking at a different brand for my next pair of sunglasses, and this brand won't be recommended to my family and friends.

DE:Wieder so ein betrügerischer Kundenservice. Gestern habe ich angerufen, um eine Bestellung zu stornieren, die nach zwei Stunden aus Costa del Mar, Deutschland, noch nicht versandt wurde. Ich habe die Bestellung telefonisch storniert und dem Support eine E-Mail geschickt. Heute sehe ich, dass die Bestellung versandt wurde. Ich werde die Bestellung trotzdem ablehnen und abwarten, wie lange die Rückerstattung dauert.
EN: Another fraudulent customer service incident. Yesterday I called to cancel an wrong order that hadn't been shipped yet after only two hours from Costa del Mar, Germany. I canceled the order over the phone and sent an email to support. Today I see that the order has been shipped. I'll still decline the order and wait to see how long the refund takes.

The parcel with the wrong order was refused. DHL hold the parcel and will not return to sender!!!

Nothing happened after Costa Reviews team promisse to help...my money was collected...parcel still on hold with DHL...no sign of help from Costa Customer Support after many emails sent to them.

DHL and Costa, no support at all...DHL still holding the parcel, they say for 21 working days( i don't know why)....anyway, problem solved by card issuer.I've got my money. Thank you Visa!

This garbage company sold me a $280 pair of glasses and refused my warranty request. They used subpar glue for the rubber trim and it came off of the nose and arms. The lenses and frames are perfect. These glasses are useless as they denied responsibility.
Update:: Costa sent me a dead end reply. They asked me to contact them and didn’t respond. They don’t care about their customers.

I have been trying to get replacement lenses for 3 days multiple chats per day. Rincon glass lens cracked no damage to frame and no scratches on glass. Not sure how this happened.... Do not want anything for free and I'm willing to pay for replacements but do not want to send off. WOW customer service has went down HILL......... Just sent an email 2 different time to the address from COSTA response and it comes back undeliverable...... WHAT A JOKE
