I am so impressed with Costa Del Mar's customer service! I recently sent in my Fantail sunglasses for a warranty replacement, and the entire process was seamless. They kept me updated every step of the way and sent out a brand-new replacement incredibly fast. Costa genuinely stands behind their products and takes care of their customers. The Fantails are hands-down the best sunglasses for the water, and now I am a lifelong customer thanks to this amazing experience. Highly recommended!

terrible customer service / warranty useless
Costa used to stand behind their product but they no longer provide any customer service. I had a warranty problem that i tried to handle on Chat and was lied to, then given a ph number to call for help. First person hung up on me when they went to pull up my account. Next person couldn't do what the 1st person told me they could do then said they would email me in 3 days to resolve. Useless and horrible service. Never again! Bajio provides EXCELLENT customer service and they will get all of my future business. * update: I emailed them at the address below....NO response

Costa del mar warranty process is bad…
Costa del mar warranty process is absolute garbage.... If you bought your sunglasses in Puerto Rico they make you fill a different form and it gets sent to the trash, there is no warranty.... Frames just snapped under normal use and these don't even have one year..

I have purchased and owned multiple…
I have purchased and owned multiple pairs of Costas in the past, with very little trouble. I purchased a brand new pair this year, with the glass lense, and less than 2 months in I got some sunscreen on the glasses. I tried cleaning them with my cloth, and it scratched visably (or removed the film perhaps) on the inside of the lense. Costa is not standing behind the product, and I think clearly a 200+ dollar pair of glasses should not ruin the lens when you get sunscreen on them. Not only are they not warranting the lenses, but they also said it would cost $143 to replace them. I paid $230 or so for the glasses, and bottom line will never be a costa customer again with this customer service.
Update on 6/9. Costa thank you for the reply I emailed you yesterday 6/8 as you requested below, and awaiting your response.

Poor product, worse customer service
Customer service is non-existent, couldn't figure out how to get past the AI Bot to a live person. Prior to being purchased by Luxotica I was given a pair as a gift. The nose piece fell off, 1 call, and I had a replacement pair. Surprise, the nose piece came off the new pair. Now, since I don't have a receipt, they rejected fixing the glasses they sent me as replacements. Going to Maui Jim, they aren't owned by Luxotica.

Arrived broken no refund or replacement
Purchased a pair of sunglasses that cost me over $330 when they arrived in the mail they were already broken. Costa refused to replace them because they no longer made the same frames anymore and the only offer they gave me was a discount for another pair. Worst customer service ever highly recommend buying glasses from anyone but Costa.

Buyer Beware of Costa Del Mar! No customer service exists or it is AI generated to never resolve an issue for the buyer.
After several attempts to receive a replacement case due to a broken faulty zipper for my Costs Del Mar Sunglasses still under warranty I have given up all hope. My last e-mail to Costa Del Mar says it all.
I am requesting a replacement sunglass case from Cost Del Mar.
Previously, I sent you my receipt (attached) and pictures of my broken sunglass case where the zipper broke (see attached). I received a form e-mail that stated "unfortunately, we need additional pictures in order to proceed. Please click on 'Upload new photos' and follow the steps to upload the new photos requested." There were no instructions as to what additional photos were needed, and it is clear that no one from customer service cares or is addressing customer service issues.
I have seen the reviews of other Customers, and it is not pretty! Apparently, Costa Del Mar previously stood behind their product, but since Luxuttica bought the Company, there is no customer Service! Customer service has gone from the best in the industry to the worst!
I have recently bought two pairs of sunglasses and a pair of replacement lenses from Costa Del Mar, but if your organization does not provide any customer service or will not honor warranty protection, I will go elsewhere for sun glasses, write my scathing review online and tell others to beware!
Costa Del Mar now means "Buyer Beware"!

When one can't get replacement parts…
When one can't get replacement parts such as nose guard pads, thats pretty disgusting. That's just one of several discrepancies to go along with their warranties and customer service. No wonder they have such a low star rating.
I won't ever buy another pair of Costas.

I ordered a pair at full price fory fiance for mother's Day. I opted in to pick up the glasses at Sunglass hut for quicker delivery. Upon completing the order I immediately get a thank you response followed with"GRAB THE DEAL! GET 40% OFF YOUR NEXT PAIR WHEN YOU PICK UP YOUR ORDER AT SUNGLASS HUT. " I picked up my glasses and the sales person didn't have a clue what I was talking bout even after sharing the email. She instructed me to call Costa. I called Costa and they said I must order 2 at the same time to get that deal. That's not at all how the email states the deal works. ANNNND Well guess what I went back on their site just to place a separate order and tried adding a second pair to the cart and it would only give me 10%.... BUT after placing the order for just the one pair the second time, I now get an email just like the last orders email except now it says "GRAB THE DEAL! GET 50% OFF YOUR SECOND PAIR WHEN YOU PICK UP YOUR ORDER AT SUNGLASS HUT!" WHERES MY DEAL COSTA?!?!? WHY AM I NOT GETTING A DEAL ON THE SECOND PAIR WHEN PAYING FULL PRICE FOR A PAIR OF GLASSES. BUT JUST TO BE CLEAR IT NEVER STATED I HAD TO PAY FULL PRICE EITHER. The customer service lady from Costa was very rude and then wouldn't transfer me to a manager and then finally said she would send me a coupon for my 40% off my next pair AND SHE NEVER SENT THE DAMN COUPON!!! WTF! 12 PAIRS OF COSTA SUNGLASSES AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT A RETUNING CUSTOMER! NEVER AGAIN! YOU GOT ME FOR MY LAST $300!!! I WILL BE FOLLOWING UP WITH LEGAL ASSISTANCE IF THIS MATTER IS NOT HANDLED APPROPRIATELY! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!

I've been buying Costa products for years and spend thousands on eyeglasses and sunglasses and clothing. Now I'm done. They've turned into yet another company who is determined to do everything in their power to prevent you from talking to a human being.
