Got my prescription sunglasses. Absolutely the best. Extremely easy thanks to Tom. I even had a small problem which was rectified with no issues. All you need is your latest distance prescription. Why I haven’t done this sooner I don’t know. Thanks again.

I have always had costa glasses but will never again. I broke down and bought a pair of King tides which I paid $350 for and they were terrible. The frame broke and the nose piece completely fell off. I tried to Warranty them but was told that it was normal wear and tear. I had them less than a year. Buy Maui Jim, they are better glasses and will ALWAYS honor there warranty.

Costa dose’t honor their warranty. After spending $260.00 on a pair of sun glasses the rubber came of the frame after a year and a half. Costa said that was to covered by Warranty. The glasses a very good the Company is not.

Warranty is Useless
Barely bumped my head on my wife's car and the frames broke. Lenses were fine, and I was still within the two-year warranty-but Costa wouldn't cover it. If that's not protected, the warranty means nothing. Basically tells me their $550 glasses are suppose to brake easily!!! Would not recommend to anyone!

It really sucks because I’m a charter captain and have owned 6-7 pairs of costa glasses. Well no more. It never fails a few months after purchasing them the rubber on the side starts to pop off. Bought some with the least amount of rubber and the nose section has supports you can adjust. Well the rubber falls off and now you’re stuck with metal sticking into your skin. Send it off to the warranty department and it’s not something the cover. Looks like I’ll go with smith glasses now. Better quality better lenses and better customer support. Hope this helps with individuals looking into buying glasses.

I have owned countless pairs of Costa's and have only ever used Costa Del Mar over the last 25 years. I was a professional guide for over 15 years in which 10 of those years were spent in Alaska. I loved the product and the customer service. I recently broke a 15 year pair of glasses and submitted a warranty and was denied the help they guaranteed when I purchased the product. You would think if they changed their policy that they would honor (grandfather in) the product that was purchased under "lifetime" warranty. They offered me a 50% discount on my next pair which seems a little bit like a joke being as how I was in Bass Pro last week and they were offering a 40% discount. Guess they are having a hard time selling the product. Not surprising. I sent an email expressing my concern about the customer service and if this was how they were going to honor their product that I may need to go explore other products that take care of their customers and to no surprise after a little over a week I have yet to hear back from them. To say very disappointed is an understatement.
EDIT: Very generic response as this is the same exact reply that every unsatisfied consumer/customer has received. Just for confirmation that this long time product is definitely moving the needle in the wrong direction. If you are wanting to regain trust... You guys have my contact info. Which I don't expect to hear anything from y'all. Just fore warning to anyone considering to do business with y'all. Farewell old friend.

FADING & DISCOLORATION of FRAMES
Bought blue costa frames in 2022 and within a year they had faded to a merky yellow/green color. Thanks to Costa they were replaced in 2023. In 2023 the frame cracked and frame was also fading in color, but thanks Costa for replacing. A year later the frame is once again fading but won't replace because of the original 2 year warranty purchase policy. All three pairs faded....something is wrong with the quality of this frame. How many of these frames has Costa had to replace?

Made online order and paid for expedited shipping. Order has shown as shipped for over a week. Tracking number given comes up as invalid. Now I have no number to call for support, the chat bot is not working.
This company has the worst support and follow up of any I have ever dealt with. They have gone out of there way to make sure you cannot get a hold of them or hold them accountable.

I won't buy Costa or Oakley glasses because they don't keep simple parts available for glasses. It's awful they will carry some parts but not simple nose pieces. So I won't promote them to anyone. Ridiculous.
I was told they have replacement lenses but not nose pieces, can't even buy.

I've been a long time customer of Costa del Mar, these sunglasses were given to me after I experienced a severe car accident and my glasses were stolen. I've never had the experience with Costa Del Mar not covering the warranty as in this case, especially because it is a manufacturing defect. Clearly the rubber TPU elastomer has come off the frame as I pictured. Please reconsider covering the warranty or I will escalate to the company's higher management level. Clearly you do not want me to take this matter to the media as a disappointed customer of your product.

Horrible experience. Needed to replace arms on Brine sunglasses. Log-in and account for repair/replace is different than the main Costa website, a nonsensical arrangement. A quick chat told me that I needed to set up a separate account. I tried to set up the new account, following the instructions provided. Took five tries to get log-in and password established. Finally set up the account and tried to log in; was greeted with a notification that the login an password (which I just established) didn't match. Several attempts got me the same prompt. Tried to chat with customer support...again...explaining what I wanted and what I'd experienced. Suggested I change the password. So I did. Got the same "log in and password don't match" message each time. A third chatter just stopped responding, so I ended that chat. Thinking there might be system lag, I waited and tried again. No luck. Did another chat only to discover that they didn't stock the parts I needed. The only help I got was the last person who offered a voucher for a discount on a replacement. They wanted numerous pictures, including a copy of the receipt. I took the pics, including one of the receipt which my wife had miraculously kept for six years, but they wouldn't upload. By this point, I was exasperated and frustrated. Lousy website and less than stellar customer support. If the first person would have just told me they didn't stock the part, I could have saved a lot of grief and frustration. I can safely say I will never buy another pair of Costas again. There are simply too many other choices.

Always worn and recommended Costas to everyone. But I recently purchased a pair of white tip pros for me and all I did was remove them from my face from wearing them. The arm broke in half so I submitted a claim now I'm told they are out of warranty but they offer a 2 year warranty. Costa Sunglasses started making the Whitetip PRO, the latest addition to their PRO series, on March 25, 2024. I purchased November 24th 2024. I can't even buy just the arm and repair it myself. They offered a coupon to put towards another pair of $154 the glasses are $309 on their site smh, all I want. Is my glasses replaced I thought paying 300+ dollars for good sunglasses from a reputable company would be the best bet for my investment… that has truly not been the case.

I’m a fishing guide in Alaska. I used to push coasters to all my clients until today. I was walking the beach in Hawaii. Sit down in the sand stared up at the sun. I was just sitting there. I heard a crack took my glasses off seen a crack in the corner and left hand lens on the inside only I contacted them mind you I paid almost $300 for these glasses I own several pair of them they said they’ll give me a discount on a new pair that’s crazy. Why would I pay for another pair if I can’t get the first pair fixed? I’m going back to Oakley and Maui Jim’s pushing those on my clients mind you I get thousands of clients every year.

I was denied warranty on two pair of sunglasses that were bought before November 2022. The nose pieces on both pair were coming off. One pair is warped. I've bought several pair over the years and never had a problem getting them fixed under warranty. The last pair i had replaced under warranty, they didn't make the same pair so I got to choose a different pair. When they arrived, the glass lense were loose in the frame and they wouldn't cover them. I love Costas but the quality has went downhill and even though I got a 50% off code, I'll be spending my money elsewhere. Sad to see such poor service on what used to be a great product.
