The article arrived promptly and well packaged. Exactly as described. However - it didn't suit me and there seems to be a delay in processing the return.

A pattern of behaviour
On 27 May 2026, CSD took my Jimmy Choo and Louis Vuitton bags to sell. After hearing virtually nothing and sending multiple emails, I finally received a response on 20 July stating that the bags had been sold and were within the customer’s 14-day return period.

From that point onwards, I emailed repeatedly — often once or twice a day — and telephoned the sales team multiple times. I want to make it clear that the sales team I spoke to were always professional and helpful. They repeatedly CC’d me into emails sent to James in Accounts, trying to get answers on my behalf.

Despite this, I received no direct communication whatsoever from the accounts department.

On 10 August, money simply appeared in my bank account with no explanation. I did not know whether the payment related to one bag or both bags. I then continued chasing for a statement, having sent in excess of 20–30 emails and made numerous telephone calls.

When the statement eventually arrived, I was extremely concerned by the amount deducted from the sale proceeds and how much I had actually received. I am still waiting for proper communication and an explanation from Accounts.

These were valuable, much-loved designer bags, and I trusted this company to handle the sale professionally and communicate with me properly throughout the process. I genuinely wish I had read the reviews before agreeing to sell through them.

Based entirely on my personal experience, if you are considering selling valuable items through this company, I would strongly advise you to read the reviews carefully and think very seriously before proceeding — particularly if prompt payment, clear statements and reliable communication are important to you. There seems to be a pattern of behaviour here.

Following my original review, I issued County Court proceedings against Consigned Sealed Delivered Limited for the money owed to me following the sale of my Gucci handbag.

Before doing so, I sent the company a formal Letter Before Claim on 11 July 2026 by both email and tracked post, giving them 14 days to resolve the matter before proceedings would be issued. They acknowledged receipt, but I received neither payment nor any substantive response.

I subsequently issued a County Court claim. The company's deadline to respond expired on 18 August 2026.

I have received no payment or response from CSD and no notification from the court that a response has been filed. I have therefore now formally requested judgment against Consigned Sealed Delivered Limited.

I am updating this review so that prospective customers can make an informed decision before consigning valuable items to this company. In my case, CSD sold my bag and has retained the money due to me for months. Repeated requests for payment, a formal Letter Before Claim and ultimately County Court proceedings have still not resulted in payment.

I will update this review again with the outcome of the court proceedings.

I consigned five designer items with CSD at their Notting Hill store in August 2024.

In November 2025, I specifically asked to collect my unsold items. CSD acknowledged my request and told me they would check with the sales team and stores and provide an updated statement. I never received it.

I started chasing again in July 2026. On 24 July, CSD apologised for the delay and said they would obtain an update from their accounting team regarding the status of my items, any sales and money due to me. I followed up repeatedly after that and still have no substantive answer.

On 12 August I went personally to the Notting Hill premises and discovered a notice stating that the landlord had taken possession of the premises in April. I had not been informed by CSD about this or what had happened to my property.

I have now formally asked CSD to provide an item-by-item account confirming whether each item is still held, has been sold, or can no longer be returned, and to return all unsold property.

I would be very happy to update this review as soon as the matter is resolved. At this point I simply need someone senior at CSD to tell me where my five items are and arrange their return or account for any items that have been sold.

Appalling customer service, the company is most probably a money-laundering operation. They are dishonest, have never paid me for the item I consigned with them, over a year and a half ago, nor have they returned my item. They never answer any calls, emails or whatsapp messages. They are a fraud and should be shut down.

The trainers I bought from you were damaged. The sole of one the shoes came unstuck the first time I wore them. I went to a cobbler and had him stick the sole back but this is not what I expected from you.
Otherwise, the service was prompt, but I was disappointed with the items

I have never received one penny or one update on the sales of the many items I entrusted to CSD OVER ONE YEAR AGO . Ive called them every week for the past month or so and am constantly fobbed off . It is seemingly impossible to speak to someone in their accounts dept ., absolutely untrustworthy so far . I am still waiting . If I could give them 0 stars I would .

I am following up on my previous posts 'Do Not Sell with CSD' as payment still not received for my classic Chanel bag sold in early February. Promises of payment from CSD but nothing from accounts on when this will be paid. Escalating now to a solicitor and trading commission and will post on social media until this is paid.

Experience as a customer completely opposite to this. They obviously do not value customers to treat them in this way when trusting CSD as a consigner.

I have sold my item a few months ago, but still haven’t received money!!?? It’s so horrible from their side, and absolutely disappointing. They absolutely crashed my trust…. I an awaiting for the payment to be made.

I dropped off three items almost two years ago and have never received a single update.

When I contacted head office, I was told they would check whether any of my items were still in stock. Frankly, if an item had been sold, I should have been notified at the time rather than having to chase for information myself.

It's now been three weeks since I first contacted head office, despite multiple follow-ups, and I still haven't received a single response.

The lack of communication has been extremely disappointing. Waiting nearly two years without any updates, followed by weeks of being ignored when trying to resolve the issue, is simply unacceptable. I expected a much more professional level of customer service.

OMG, this is the worst store I have ever had to deal with. They lie about everything, and they have no technology available to you at all. No dashboard detailing sales or anything. You have no idea what you sold, when you sold it or how much you sold it for. When you try to find out information, they repeat the same answer for months on end. My friends and I have all had the same experience. They are fraudsters and should be closed down. Stay away!!

Great customer service. Knowledgeable and super patient.

I have been with this company for a while now and my experience has been AWFUL. I have been sending emails since the start of this year regarding my items and to be paid for them. There response (if and when they response) is we have escalated it and we are looking into it, then they ghost me for months.
They are a complete scam and are not paying me for my items. I sent a final email requesting all unsold items to be sent back to me and to be paid for sold items.
I have kept track of all my items and will escalate it with UK County Court if they do not act promptly as they are breaching their own contract and not doing what is meant to be done by LAW: paying me for my items!!!!! This is ridiculous and I do not recommend anyone work with them.

YET TO BE PAID £1.5k+ FOR MY ITEMS

I consigned items a year ago. No communication whatsoever throughout the year despite MULTIPLE follows ups and questions by me since I could not see the sold items on my account.

In June 2026 I emailed asking that all my items could be returned to me. They said they had all been sold. They have stopped replying to my emails asking for payment.

This has been a TERRIBLE, HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE. They will take your money and leave you hanging.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT CONSIGNING ANY OF YOUR ITEMS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Would recommend avoid selling your items with them at all costs! It has been two years that I gave them my items and never received any payment, they’re promising to pay over 6 months and in fact just robbed me for the clothes I gave for consignment. Scammers and thieves!

Avoid this company!!
They withhold your money after sales. If you do get a payout you really have to work hard for it. And it takes months. They still owe me for my last 3-4 items that sold in September -25, and are not responding to my emails or text on Messenger.
The staff is polite, but the owner and his son are thieves. Stay away and sell your items elsewhere!

Sellers beware!!
This company has bad communication and failed to update me on my account status as well as issue credit on my sale. After 6 months after consigning an item with them, I have not received the money or the item back.
