My telephone call was answered promptly and I spoke to an adviser who was friendly and efficient. Within a short space of time she had explained carefully and clearly the terms of the product about which I had phoned. All my objectives were achieved in a single straightforward phone call.

I rang originally to enquire about the travel insurance. I was given a lot of I formation. I rang twice more to clarify a couple of points that I wasn't sure about. All three times the staff were very professional and polite.

We needed to make a number of changes to our Home and Car insurance policies recently related to our house move. Amy at CSIS took the time to listen and understand our needs and made the necessary changes quickly and efficiently. The service we received was excellent.

A friend told me about NFOP and the insurance managed by CSIS. We were looking for multitrip travel insurance that would extend beyond 80. We rang about the insurance and had a useful, friendly conversation. There were none of the usual probing, time consuming health questions, good trip length, and if bought before age 80 can be extended beyond 80. And the price was very competitive. So we went ahead, and have so far been very pleased.

Very easy to apply for insurance, a bit old fashioned in that you have to apply on paper, although some people may find this easier. The acceptance came through quickly. Not yet had an opportunity to make a claim, shouldn’t have to.

Got through on the phone quickly and explained what I required. The customer adviser took me through all of the process and gave an explanation at each stage.
The quote I received was satisfactory and I decided to go ahead with the insurance. At first I requested a monthly payment, but changed my mind after the event and it was not a problem to sort it out.

Just taken a joint Europe policy for wife and I. Easy online process and decent pricing compared to our previous insurer but somewhat stripped out in terms of cover. £5K cancellation is just about OK for us but would have preferred the option for £0 excess (or a minimum claim value).
I guess the acid test will be if we ever need to claim.

Very helpful on the telephone. I was able to buy travel insurance after being turned down by countless companies. My husband is 2 years clear of cancer, so scans every 4 months. We also have the usual medical problems, eg. High BP, Cholesterol and type 2 diabetes. I found the cost was very reasonable, you can get insurance upto age 79.
