I found this group via a friend, and when checking out its travel insurance, I couldn't believe how easy it was.
So refreshing from the usual hundred questions.
I found them to be excellent and do exactly what it says on the tin, with total efficiency whilst remaining friendly.

Easy to understand and price is always competitive

Very quick to arrange our annual holiday insurance. No 45 minute call listing all our medical history, just have to meet the criteria of being 'fit to travel'. Excellent value.

My wife and I have done business with this company for several years. During that time we have found them efficient, courteous, helpful and easy to communicate with. Additionally, their prices are very competitive and their acceptance process simple. Highly recommended.

This was perfect for us as we didn’t have to list all my partners medical information which can be a pain. He only has to be fit for travel and not have certain conditions which are documented on their website.
The cost is amazing compared to other companies with the same degree of cover.

Having a complex medical history getting travel insurance was very expensive. Two years ago I paid close to £900 for my wife and I to go on a Caribbean Cruise. I then discovered this fantastic CSIS scheme. Because I was 69 yrs old It cost £399 for my wife and I, no medical questions asked other than a couple for very serious illness. We went to Crete last year and I developed ulcers on both of my big toes, they think due to compression stockings not allowing my feet to swell in the pressurised airplane cabin. I had to visit a doctor every other day in Crete to have the dressings changed. Each time I had to pay. On my return to the UK I was sent straight to hospital, the rest is a long story but I claimed on the insurance, even for the taxi rides to the doctors which I didn’t have receipts for. The insurance paid up, no questions. We went away in the UK and I enquired if the CSIS travel insurance covered us. Yes, for any night you stay away from home, was the answer. What a fantastic scheme. I am now 70 yrs old and the annual fee has gone up but it is still a bargain. I would highly recommend this scheme to all but especially to those with medical conditions.

No nonsense approach to travel insurance at a reasonable price. No endless questionnaires asking you to detail every illness that you've had since the day you were born. All you need to do is to certify that you are fit to travel and any medical conditions that you have are under control (with medication if appropriate).

This was much easier than I had expected and my experience had told me to expect.

However, no claims experience and I hope it stays that way!

We unfortunately had to make two claims this year for the first time after many years of travelling. The process was made easier by the help of the staff on the help line who guided me through any queries. Our circumstances were complicated but nothing was too much trouble and I was given time to present all the information needed to finalise our claim. Well done.

Very good to deal with as a group of people and their staff are excellent.
However, their rates are not always the best available. I will still contact them every year to be sure whether they have returned to being more competitive, as they certainly used to be.

The pure simplicity of the application and the renewal. No messing around digging out historical medical problems and not having to share them. In the event of a claim obviously such records would be provided.

Csis provide an excellent personal service and I feel valued as a customer

As an retired ex civil servant, I very much value the travel insurance provided by CSPA. The cost is very reasonable and includes cover for Cruises and USA. We have been able to travel a lot more to far flung places. I would highly recommend.
