I recently competed laser eye surgery with Dr Gore and was really impressed with the entire process including the quality of the advice and outcome. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

All I can say is the experience was first class from start to finish. From the consultation to the operation. I was make to feel at ease all the way through my procedure.

From the beginning Daniel Gore explained the procedure clearly and patiently. Thorough testing was done prior to the surgery. I was not rushed into anything. The care itself by all involved was very good as was my follow up appointments.

In March 2021 I had both cataracts removed on the same day and multifocal lens implants.
Like many patients I've had a lifetime of many reading/distance glasses and contact lenses to wear and carry around! I'm 71 and to be able to see well without them all is marvellous.
From my first appointment and from there after, I found Dr Gore and all the staff that I came into contact with during the examinations and procedures all highly professional and brilliant.
Also Shaima Patel, Private Practice Manager, has been fantastic, efficient and always so helpful.
Dr Gore explained everything in detail and what the best options would be for me.
He is honest, reassuring, and calm.
I now only wear low prescription off the shelf reading glasses, he told me I'd probably need them.
I've just been back to have a bit of laser treatment on my left eye as the lens became slightly cloudy after 2 years. Dr Gore had explained this may happen, so nothing was worrying.
Every procedure I've had has been absolutely painless and straightforward.
Without any hesitation, I highly recommend Dr Daniel Gore.

From initial consultation to post-op, Mr Gore and his team were professional and honest, and showed a very high level of care. Although the recovering is slightly longer with TRANS-PRK, I do not regret my decision one bit - I now have 20/20 vision and I couldn't be happier.

I have the beginnings of cataracts. I saw Mr Gore privately. He explained that he would not be to be my benefit to operate at present as they weren't causing problems. He said it wouldn't be ethical. Very impressive to encounter a private surgeon not motivated by money.

Mr Gore was very thorough in explaining the entire surgery procedure from initial consultation to post check ups. He and his team took great care in making me feel comfortable and as relaxed as possible. I would highly recommend his services to anyone considering laser surgery.

I had a pretty bad experience with Mr Gore. Had two consultations (£250+75) where he said he would send me the calculation of how thin my cornea will be after SMILE. Both times he does not follow through.

Then on surgery day, I finally get the numbers after re-asking for it. Result is 270 microns, which is too thin. Mr Gore suggests to go ahead regardless.

Overall, very careless with patients time & money.

Update as of 3 weeks post the planned procedure: Despite promises to refund me within 7 working days, this has not happened yet.

The whole process was seamless from start to finish. I was a vey nervous patient, but I was made to feel totally as ease, everything was very carefully explained, and the level of care of superb. I am thrilled with the results.

After wearing glasses for 25 years I decided to take the plunge and have ICL surgery. My first consultation consisted of various eye scans and checks. Followed by an eye test. Finally, I sat down with Daniel to discuss my options. He went through my results thoroughly and recommended ICL.

On the day of the surgery, I was put at ease by the whole team and everything was made clear to me. The procedure was over very quickly and really wasn't that bad. You could only feel a slight pressure on the eye. No pain and no vision of what was going on.

The following days after the surgery my eyes were quite sensitive to light and a little tender; as expected. The vision seemed to improve each day and it wasn't long until I was experiencing glasses-level vision! I struggled to use my laptop for a week or two after the surgery as my eyes struggled to focus on the screen. This soon passed and now isn't an issue.

I can't recommend this procedure enough and would highly suggest getting it done with Daniel Gore and the team. They were excellent throughout and I can't thank them enough!

I will probably repeat what many people say. Eye operation is the best thing you can do for yourself. So if you are hesitating- do not! It is a safe procedure.

I did a huge research before I chose Daniel Gore. And, as expected, I received a professional advice, operation went well (In two hrs my vision was excellent. I was extremely happy!), aftercare was amazing too. It feels like a new life without having to wear glasses. No more feeling nausea and looking through the fog. Clear vision is a basic need to live.
Yes, it’s a bit pricy, but it is definitely worth it.

I had laser vision correction with both eyes treated to account for short vision in one and long vision in the other. I'm incredibly pleased with the results and I no longer need to wear glasses when driving/watching tv etc. An incredibly high level of care from start to finish. I highly recommend Daniel Gore and his excellent team at Moorfields to anyone considering any form of eye surgery.

I was happy with the procedure, made to feel calm before the operation and the after care was good too. Any worries I had were qualmed and - as Daniel predicted - my eyes settled in well in the time frame he said.

My eyes were really bad before going ahead with my surgery. He explained every step to me, I had access to his mobile number encase I had questions or any worries after the operation. My eyes are back to 20/20 now. I am so happy about it.
