We have had an oak framed porch built to the front of our house adding massively to the look of the house and producing an outstanding feature.

We decided to go with David Salisbury because of their experience in this type of extension. Whilst our is a relatively small addition we wanted to have the same care and attention as we would have expected for a larger construction. We were not disappointed. From the initial consultation with our designer Aleksa, who kept in contact throughout the process, through to the on site staff lead by Tony and Aaron with Paul and Chelsey coordinating the technical elements and logistics respectively we were given a uniformly excellent service. Not everything went perfectly as with any building project but any issues were resolved quickly and efficiently adding to the general feeling of security we had throughout the project.

We are delighted with the final outcome and would not hesitate to recommend David Salisbury.

The after-sales service has been deplorable. It was and remains slow and incompetent. The wrong replacement window was ordered and delivered. It was poorly fitted and glued. The paintwork remains unfinished and damaged.
I am pleased that I have had a prompt response but not that I must wait until next week for remedial work.

I booked an appointment with Tom one of David Salisbury’s designers. He was friendly but professional explaining the process of installing an orangery. Not long after his visit he provided me with detailed draft plans. I was most impressed. The cost was rather more than I was expecting especially as foundations need to be done by an independent builder and access is limited. If the works had fallen within my budget I would not have hesitated.

Eddie Spillane was very knowledgeable and engaging and gave us some good ideas and an insight to how the Orangery would look at the end of the project. We certainly weren’t disappointed it looks fantastic. David Salisbury Orangeries are excellent quality and you would be hard pushed to find better.

Excellent product and process from start to finish. Extremely professional service and great aftercare.

The standard of the materials used is literally the best in the business, the fitters and design team are superb. Our property was an Article 4 protected house in a conservation area so needed careful planning working with the local planning and conservation authorities to get it through which happened seamlessly.

We are blown away with the service and level of expertise we have received from David Salisbury. Especially Simon Phipps who has designed our orangery and Jon Brookes who is designing our kitchen. Their attention to detail and ensuring our designs will give us a functional and exemplary add on to our home is first class.

Our needs and functioning issues of our existing layout were taken on board and they have offered solutions to our problems.

They have taken all the stress out of our build, from submitting our planning application and they will provide all the necessary tradesman to complete the project which is also a welcome necessity to remove the pressures from us and will make this a seamless and stress free project.

The factory tour was outstanding. To see the team at work and the quality of workmanship and materials confirmed that we have made the right choice with David Salisbury.

Excellent customer service. Kept us fully informed at all stages. High quality product and very well finished. We had Eddie Spillane as our designer who was excellent and he recommended a builder whom he had worked with on projects for 18 years. This made the whole project easier as they had a lot of experience on the whole build and design. Would fully recommend!

We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen orangery and it has elicited much admiration from family and friends. Eddie Spillane, who was our initial contact with David Salisbury is truly exceptional and inspirational. From the moment we met Eddie we realised that he had an incredible eye for architecture and living spaces, what would and wouldn’t work. Not only did he create a stunning design for our orangery but he suggested other creative ways in which our home could be enhanced. As a result, we extended our kitchen and added a vaulted skylight which has really opened up the back of our home. Even on the most grey of days our kitchen orangery is full of light and has completely transformed our kitchen and living space.
Our experience with all the David Salisbury team was outstanding and we were extremely impressed not only with their artistic attention to detail in the architecture of their beautiful designs, but also with the rigorous attention paid to detail in their paperwork and general handling of the project throughout.
Eddie also introduced us to Simon Goldsmith (Retrobuild) our builder whose work was excellent. Together, David Salisbury and Simon organised the entire project and they were extremely helpful in recommending kitchen and floor suppliers and anything else we needed. If any problems arose, and little things did occur, they were always addressed as soon as possible.

Yes, the orangery came at a price, but we were looking for a company who would not just add on a bit more to our house but create something special that would both blend in and enhance our existing house. And that is what we now have!

Work completed to a very high standard. The new room/conservatory is much admired and provides great pleasure.
Eddy Spillane, the person who provided constant support and advice, was brilliant. Some small problems were fixed in January 2025. The work took four months in late 2023 with many different specialists contributing to a job well done.

Nearly 5 stars. The process of designing our orangery was patient and constructive, and really helped us to specify a product which was exactly what we wanted. Thankyou, Nigel. The build was efficient, and the team were easy to work with. We are very happy with the end product which is admired by all our visitors. The large room genuinely functions 365 days (wet underfloor heating, porcelain tiles). Took a few phone calls and visits to tidy small details after the main event, now all satisfactorily concluded.

From the initial discussions and survey last year, to the final building check today, this has been a pleasure throughout. The quality of the completed building speaks for itself and to see the pride that the installers clearly had in their craftsmanship was wonderful. They were most respectful to our home, as well.

The price is not low, obviously, but you are paying for quality and attention to detail - and you end up with what YOU want.

Our 18th Century cottage needed to grow sympathetically, not just "get an extension". Our DS Garden Room has certainly achieved that; even more than we anticipated, in fact.

David Salisbury started from scratch,demolishing the existing kitchen extension to erect a bright,modern orangery,complete with a beautifully designed kitchen.A lot of work for such a small space and a long time to completion.The builders,decorators and electricians were excellent and the team was professional and helpful,always leaving the place tidy at the end of the day.I am very happy with the end product and can heartily recommend DS.

From beginning to end it was a seamless process. Any minor problems were dealt with promptly. When my Builders needed assistance there was always someone they could contact for advice. Deliveries were on time and there was no damage so no hold ups. A good relationship was struck up between staff from both sides which was very helpful.

All of the people I came into contact with from David Salisbury from start to finish were professional, reliable, helpful and extremely capable.

At first, we were a little apprehensive about the cost of the job, but having seen the quality of the products and service first hand, we can see where the money goes and that our new Orangery is a long term investment and represents value for the money we have spent.

The Orangery was part of a wider renovation project and to have the support and advice of their team throughout was so re-assuring.

I can’t recommend David Salisbury highly enough. We did a large project with them and it went like clockwork. Eddie guided us through the process and made the whole experience a pleasure. The finished product is stunning and completely opened up the back of our house to the garden. We couldn’t be more delighted!
