Puchased two portable touch metal lamps in late 2024. Found them to be nice lamps but unfortunately the charging port of one of the lamps snapped inside the lamp with normal use just over a year after I purchased it. Contacted customer service and was told could not return as warranty was 12 months and they do not offer a repair service. For the price of these lamps, I would expect them to last more than a year and a half, and it is probably better to buy something else. From a sustainability perspective it is also frustrating to have to throw away a lamp that could be fixed quite easily if this service was offered.
Really stylish products, and support was really helpful when I had a product that was damaged. They sent me a replacement and made it really easy for me.

First lamp came defective, so I contacted them asking for a replacement.
They replied within a day, and I received a free replacement lamp within the week.

I recently purchased two brassy gold touch lamps for my newlywed home and was very disappointed at the quality for the price. The inside was mainly plastic and one of the lamps did not work at all after several hours of charging.
I submitted video proof of the fault to their customer service to request to return and receive a full refund for both, as the lamps were meant to be used as a pair. However, they did not read my email carefully and only gave me a refund for one lamp, leaving me with one half of a pair and a refunded amount that isn’t enough to purchase a new one from their store given I purchased the two in a discounted bundle.
I then conceded that if I can’t return the lamp that works, I’d rather cancel the refund and receive a replacement for the faulty one instead so that I at least have a pair, but was told that this is no longer possible.
The customer service rep then said I could return the remaining lamp through the portal for a $20+ processing and restocking fee instead, to which I replied this is quite unfair, as why should I have to pay extra on top of the hassle when the faulty item is the whole reason for my return.
The rep only emailed back once every 24 hours and now they have stopped replying altogether. This simple matter has dragged on unnecessarily for over a week and been extremely frustrating.

UPDATE: The rep has reached out again to approve a free return and refund for the remaining lamp, which is much appreciated.

I purchased two items from Dennis Did It and the parcel was lost on its way to me. As such, I never received the items. Aus Post has confirmed this and told me to contact Dennis Did It to organise a refund. I have emailed Dennis Did It multiple times, and submitted a request on their website, and received no response. The value of the order was over $300 and failing to address the issue is unacceptable. Sellers are responsible for ensuring items they send arrive to the purchaser under Australian Consumer Law. I will be taking this further if there is no response.
