Beautiful packaging, great taste, and great present. Easy process, quick delivery.

Designer Dram made a very special Christmas gift possible. The website and navigation through it is great. Ordering process is super simple and you don’t have to know anything about whiskeys, like me. Communication and customer service was spot on, including special request. The packaging including personalized gift message looks beautiful and high end! And last but not least, he loved the taste!

This was one of the most amazing gifts I’ve ever given! My husband loved it. From start to finish the process was smooth and easy. Truly a great experience and an amazing gift!

I received the product quicker than expected which was good since it was a Christmas gift. The packaging and bottle looked amazing and for the price I paid, you’d think I spent way more based on the quality of packaging and the bottle.

The bottle is beautiful, however I would like to see the custom labels abit bigger.
Also the label needs to read what kind it is, not just a generic whiskey. I.e. if it's a bourbon or rye the label needs to say that not just a card in the back of the box.
Overall very happy with the product.

Now that I received the product, I'm happy to edit my review. The packaging is amazing and the whiskey is fantastic! The recipient was blown away by his Christmas gift and I'm guessing he'll be ordering more. I stand by my position that Designer Dram should not provide tracking information if the customer cannot access delivery status. They should wait until the package clears the tiered shipping/clearance system and THEN provide tracking info. Otherwise, they are confusing the customer and setting false expectations. Which is exactly what happened in this scenario. That misstep is the reason for four stars versus five.

[Original post 12/17] I haven't even received the whiskey yet and I'm giving Designer Dram one star because of their complete lack of responsibility in the shipping process. The site says that while turnaround times could be 2-4 weeks, when I ordered on December 1st, they estimated 2 weeks. I received tracking information on 12/14 but the info is useless! As of 12/19, the package has not arrived at their shipping partner's warehouse. They're telling me it left their facility on 12/9, but no one knows exactly where it is and when I will receive it. Using words like “should be,” “at some stage” and "we estimate" does not make a customer feel good when they're trying to get arrival status for a Christmas gift! Take some responsibility and provide accurate and reliable shipping information! Own the customer experience from end-to-end!!!

This was the most amazing gift I’ve ever given anyone. The ability to personalize every aspect was extra special and then the finished product totally exceeded my expectations.

Gorgeous packaging, the quality was exceptional, packaging was lovely and came in a very timely fashion. The recipient loved it as well.

The taste is horrible. I could buy cheap Jim Beam & enjoy it more. Definitely not worth the price.

Perhaps I should have said I would rather drink gasoline than this horrible rye, since seem to have confused the company by mentioningJim Beam. My husband & I are very familiar with rye whiskeys & compared the Designer Dram rye with various other ryes we had at home. We will not be purchasing from Designer Dram again.

Appreciated the team helping me figure out taste preference and design for an amazing 50th birthday present for a hard to shop for person.

We have a group of six of us who gather bottles of varying sorts to try. We've tried $400 bottles and $30 bottles. While money doesn't define to product, this group has sourced good quality to create a unique experience.

The flavor profile tool makes choosing whiskey approachable. All of the group enjoyed and finished the bottle. They keep presentation classy. This is a great gift or gathering talking piece. They have it dialed in.

They say bespoke and they mean it. Amazing tailor-made service. I could not be more thrilled with the final result… it’s exactly what I wanted. And the process of arriving at that final result was an absolute joy. What a service. I wish I could go back and experience it again for the first time. Pure magic.

Everything about the site and customer service is incredible. The customization process is super easy to follow. The interface of the website is very well designed. The people who contact the customers are unbelievably nice and helpful. Just an overall amazing experience. I would recommend to anyone looking to create your own whiskey!
