I don’t feel like 1 star is low enough for crazy domains. My business emails are out again, a quick google search will reveal just how often this happens and the warnings from others to avoid crazy domains for anything but a hobby website. It’s all true. From a security standpoint there is none, foreign customer support has access to all your email passwords, should they forward that information on you are compromised.

This new outage/hack. As with all the outages they make you jump through hoops trying to pin it on the customer until you corner them and they give you a cut and paste outage response. no timeline for restoration.

Financal cost has now caught up with me and I have no choice but to pursue them for costs.

I have had the bad luck of having to deal with Crazy Domains and their parent company Dreamscape Networks a bunch of times over the last 12 years. Their website looks fancy, and their positive testimonials on the website look good, but when it comes down to it, they have a customer support team who don't seem to know what they're doing. My reseller account is currently not accessible and support are unable to tell me when it will be accessible.

I don't understand how a company that's able to buy up other companies that were previously good and then run them like this can even exist. It really speaks volumes to see that the Google reviews for Crazy Domains and Dreamscape Networks no longer exist.

You'd have to be Crazy to use Crazy Domains

I signed up to be a domain reseller and paid my signup fee enticed by their claim to be "most advanced, turnkey solution available for reselling domain names". On signing up, it was not even possible to edit DNS records without paying an extra £9 PER DOMAIN! This was not disclosed anywhere before signing up.

Chatting to support operators I was told "yeah we get this complaint all the time".

My request for a refund within a couple of hours of signing up was declined and I was pointed to the "no refunds" clause in the Ts&Cs. This is in direct contravention of UK distance selling legislation.

The service is not fit for purpose and the company is well aware of this. Avoid at all costs.

I don't understand their governing structure operating structure.
Contacting them via chat from the Dreamscape reseller console is of no use. They don't keep the promises they make on the spot. Not working.
However, if you contact them via email just because the problem cannot be resolved through chat, you will be even more unhappy. You will receive a mechanical email that your email inquiry has been accepted, but you will not receive a response from them after that.

Until about two years ago, there were some people who were very helpful.
However, recently the quality has deteriorated rapidly. Even after contacting them, there are more and more issues that are not resolved. It would be fine as long as they replied that they were technically unable to solve the problem, but they have started to abandon even answering questions.

Instead of using the Dreamscape reseller console, you may be able to get better results by requesting support through the contact form on the CrazyDomains website.

they don't take it serious !

Sick customer support. Agent was so rude that he did not answer properly and kept silent and then invisible. NOT supported us. we paid them but NOT worth.

I had bought a domain and wanted to add A record in the domain as like
*.domainname.com A

But they said they said they have a policy that does not allow A record as *. in A records in the domain which is useless and a waste of time they seems to have limitations as a domain registers i am also complaining to Internic authority

Cannot recommend Dreamscape at all. Ive been a reseller with dreamscape for a long time now. the API was great at first but as i got upto around the 450/500 domain mark eveything started to colapse. ive actually lost 1 domain due to this as the API instructed my WHMCS that it had expired so my client was never invoiced. around 1 year later i had the same issue but then after a very long battle they paid for the redeption fee. im currently fighting this again for a 3rd customer but this time i was forced to paid the remeption fee first so i could do best by my customer who was offline for over 1 week.

customer support is utterly terrible im UK based and can rarely get anyone helpful within my business hours in the UK

Not a worthy company to give a try.

Full of scammers. Stay away.

24 - 72 hours for resolution FFS - absolute rubbish my other overseas hosters resolve issues with 12 hours.
So sad those good NZ based companies were bought out by this crap company.

Use someone else to host your site these are definitely not NZ based.

my payment stuck with them for 7 months. I am moving legal ways to get my money back.

Stay away with their reseller and domain reselling program.
