I have had serious issues with Vodien…
I have had serious issues with Vodien in the past, including severe downtime, so my overall experience has been mixed at best.
That said, Fazal is one of the real gems in their support team. He was patient, responsive and knowledgeable, and took the time to properly understand and address my spam and phishing issues. He implemented the necessary changes promptly and communicated clearly throughout. He is professional, technically capable and genuinely helpful — a real asset to Vodien.
Unfortunately, my subsequent experience was very different. I had purchased SpamGuard for one year, but the service was not operational. I contacted Vodien to request a refund for the unused service.
What should have been a straightforward request turned into a lengthy interaction of roughly 30 minutes to over an hour, only to eventually be told that the matter needed to be escalated and that I should wait for an email. This could have been communicated within the first few minutes instead of taking up so much of a customer's time.
My positive comments about Fazal absolutely still stand. However, the wider Vodien experience remains frustrating and inconsistent. Good individual staff cannot compensate for processes that make relatively simple issues unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming.
I am now waiting for the escalation team to respond and hope Vodien can resolve the refund promptly.

Complaint Finally Fixed

I have since been contacted by Renan from Vodien. Renan took charge of my complaint and fixed this long outstanding problem within 48 hours. I appreciate Renan's commitment to resolve the issue and follow it through to 100% completion. I have changed my review from 1 star to 4 for this strong recovery effort on their behalf. I have left my original review below, as it still took a year to get this result and many of my emails during that time were ignored - which was extremely frustrating. I am pleased that I can finally close this case.
***Original Review***
I have been a loyal customer of Vodien for over 15 years, but my recent experience has been deeply disappointing. Vodien agreed to issue a credit of $533.82, but only processed $104.50. Despite sending numerous follow-up emails over the past year, I have received no response regarding the remaining balance.
To make matters worse, when a salesperson recently called to pitch an email upgrade to Titan, I asked to resolve the credit issue first. Instead of offering assistance, the salesperson stated they would only help fix the credit dispute if I purchased the upgrade. Leveraging a basic support resolution to force an upsell is completely unacceptable. After 15 years, the total lack of communication and poor service standards are disgraceful.
