I am a planner. Working with Stephanie has made my trip planning so easy. She handles all of my changes with ease. She is also incredibly kind when I ask the stupid questions. My trip is a few years away, but I have it all planned. When we get closer to the date she will be walking me through my whole itinerary to make sure we got it all.
Trust me, working with her has been a godsend.

Adam has been great to work with. Very flexible and knowledgeable.

Jamie was terrific! We had a last-minute change in our travel plans, and he was able to make all necessary arrangements for us.

Stephanie is AMAZING. She put a lot of work into planning 4 to 5 options for us since we kept changing our minds. We finally decided on London, Ireland, Scotland and Munich. We are 2 couples traveling together so coordinating our time zones with Stephanie's was a challenge but she put in the extra hours to be there for us and even worked over the weekend to to coordinate with us.

Stephanie was very quick to respond to our emails and messenger messages even when the subject line said Not Urgent.

She converted from the traveling countries currency into our Canadian currency so we understood exactly what we were paying. I am unsure on how her commission is earned but whatever it comes to, it was well worth it for us.

Dreamtrips Scotland will be highly recommended to our social group and hopefully they will be lucky enough to Stephanie.

My husband and I had been talking and researching a trip to Scotland for years. Because of the time we'd already invested, we had received far too much information and the planning process became overwhelming. I contacted Stephanie at Dream Vacations and I'm 100%+ grateful that I did. Stephanie was able to listen to our desires and our limitations and put together a self-driving touring package for us that we're so excited to put into action! Stephanie patiently and accurately answered our many questions and was very accommodating about us changing our minds about different activities. Harry did an amazing job

Harry has been great to work with. Very responsive despite the time difference. I am looking forward to the bucket-list golf trip he's pulled together next September.

I contacted Dream Trips Scotland on my own and since I made my first contact with Olan, it has been a very positive experience. Olan was patient, and knowledgeable and understanding. He answered all my questions and covered all bases including information that I was not aware of, like needing an ETA. Now I am set for my trip to Scotland next May 2027. Thank you!

I just recently booked our family trip with Dream Trips Scotland. Olan was our planner and he was fantastic to work with. He listened to all of my families unique needs and worked so hard to accommodate our interests and requests. Where do I start? This was a trip for my granddaughter. For her graduation, my travel agent was named Olin. He was super, he answered all the questions. And don't think I didn't have a lot, but he was right there. Answering anything that I ask him. I gave him my itinerary that my granddaughter wanted to go see and he fulfilled everything that she wanted to see. So we will be leaving in June of 27 and we can't wait. But I've never done this over the phone, and I was just amazed at how courteous, and I laughed so many times by just talking with Olin. If you got any hesitations about doing this, don't call Em and talk to Olin, or the other ones that work there. You will be so happy that you did. Thank you so much, Olin.

A Wonderful Experience with Stephanie

I want to take a moment to recognize Stephanie at Dream Trips Scotland for the wonderful customer service she has provided as we’ve prepared for our Scotland trip.

Planning a 10-day international trip comes with a lot of moving parts, and along the way we had several concerns and changes to our itinerary. Stephanie listened to our concerns, worked with the reservations team, and did everything she could to get things corrected and make our trip more enjoyable.

One thing I’ve been reminded of during this process is the Bible’s wisdom to be “slow to anger” and quick to listen. I truly believe that is great advice—not just in travel, but in life! Taking a breath, communicating, and giving people an opportunity to make things right can make such a difference.

And Stephanie certainly did her part. She went the extra mile, made several important changes to our itinerary, and even upgraded some of our hotels at no additional expense to us. That meant a lot, especially because we want this trip to be a special experience.

Stephanie has been responsive, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. I especially appreciate that she didn’t simply tell us what couldn’t be done—she looked for solutions and followed through.

We are now looking forward to our Scottish adventure with much more peace of mind, and we’re grateful to have had Stephanie helping us along the way.

We have been working with Adam and he has been amazing. He has listened to all that we wanted, thought of other places that would be great. He is helping us plan our 40th anniversary with a Handfasting ceremony. We have been to Scotland many times but as we get older these trips mean more to us. Thank you Adam. We will be going on a GRAND trip.

We are truly enjoying working with Olan while planning our trip to Scotland. He is very diligent about making this trip just the way we want it. He has gone above and beyond so that we can have our “Dream” trip. We really appreciate his patience and listening skills as we work together. He is excellent!

Stephanie at Dreamtrips Scotland made our trip planning so enjoyable. She adeptly worked through changes we had in the number if travelers in our party, hotels, and activities for our upcoming trip and her communication was excellent throughout!

John Lee provided the most courteous and prompt customer service. He was very responsive, patiently answering all of our questions and concerns about the planning for our trip to Scotland. He created a wonderful itinerary that included all of our desired sites and kept us within our budget. We could not have asked for better!

This agency doesn't really listen to client wishes even though they claim to provide customized self-drive tours. They don't seem to understand the needs of a "driving" trip either - when you need to have parking options and do not need to be within walking distance of restaurants, etc.

I told them I need parking at hotels and elevators, and I did not want to be in city center for lodging. The accommodations were mostly in city centers and parking was a challenge. Even for a hotel where I had agreed to paid parking - that parking was about 2 blocks away and there was no place to park and unload. Additionally, it was a third-party lot and no signage indicated where to park for this hotel (as well as no instructions from the agency).

I had asked them to correct things before we departed, and one thing was never fixed. They did not put the correct driver on the rental car agreement - and in the UK that is critical. Fortunately, the car rental agency allowed us to make corrections to the agreement (on a separate trip to the UK the agency wouldn't make such a change - but it was my fault... I knew that and was very clear with this agency who still got it wrong). When asked to change a ferry to the Orkneys to 7pm (they had put us on a noon ferry with a drive time to get to the ferry of about 3 hours and a need to be there by 11am -- more proof that they paid no attention to the details of a "driving" trip), they also changed the return ferry to ~6:30 am. Given how hard it was to get them to fix things I accepted that unreasonable time. But once we got there, the ferry company changed it back to the 11am sailing we had been originally scheduled on. So, in these two situations I had to do their job for them.

All but 2 accommodations in 14 days were subpar hotels... said to be 3-stars but more like 2 or 2.5 stars. Beds were 2 small for a couple. Shower drains clogged, floorboards were rotten through. Bathrooms were filthy. They claimed that with about 2 months notice for a September 2026 trip they had trouble with availability - and they changed things many times without notice. Granted, there were a lot of no vacancy signs out, but over a month notice for shoulder season should be enough.

It is my assumption that they have contracts with certain accommodations and cannot truly customize a trip for you.

One hotel had a sign on top of a building in city center, but no street-level presence. There was no street parking around. It took an illegal parking situation for us to learn that the hotel is only accessed from inside a shopping mall (which is not labelled as a mall anywhere). They should have told us how to access this place at a minimum.

I was very disappointed with the service. I give then a 2 instead of a 1 because we did have a car and accommodations. But for the price, that was extremely little to provide. Interestingly enough, I provided day-by-day detailed feedback and they haven't even apologized or acknowledged they received the feedback. I highly doubt they learn from their mistakes.
