The app works fine, however, if you decide to cancel your recurring payment you will be forced to fill a questionaire with a demanded minimum number of characters in order to cancel your payment. If you just close the questionaire window, you will not have any clues wether the recurring payment is canceled or not. A well designed trap to keep you scammed for 1 year of subscription. More than enough to be treated as scam by me, or anyone else who has sincerity and any moral values.

I am writing to request a refund of $119 for my recent purchase of Duet Display, as I have been experiencing significant issues with latency and frequent disconnections even when connected through USB-C.

I purchased Duet Display with high hopes of improving my productivity by extending my desktop to my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. However, I have encountered persistent problems that have hindered my ability to use the application effectively. The primary issues I have been facing are:

1. Latency: The delay in response time when using Duet Display has been consistently high, making it difficult for me to work efficiently. This latency has been noticeable even when not using any graphics-intensive applications.

2. Frequent Disconnects: Duet Display often disconnects unexpectedly, disrupting my workflow and causing frustration even when connected through a stable USB-C connection.

I have tried troubleshooting these issues by updating drivers, changing cables, and ensuring that my devices are up to date. However, the problems persist, and they have significantly impacted my productivity.

Given the challenges I have faced in using Duet Display, I believe a refund would be a fair resolution.

I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and kindly request that you process a refund for my Duet Display purchase at your earliest convenience. I understand that technical issues can arise, and I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing improvement of your product.

no support and many problems,this website need a lot of work before i change my mind

I was told by a colleague about the app and how she paid approx £10 (approx $14 USD) for a one-time purchase and that sounded amazing! I guess I was a bit late to the party as all good things come to an end Duet Display removed the one-time purchase and released a $4 monthly subscription to use the app. I don't blame them with the subscription craze nowadays but it's not worth it. get a secondary monitor for $100 and put it in your laptop bag. it's not that complicated.

Beware of these Scammers!

The app does not work. It can not connect between my Windows 11 PC and MacBook. I asked for help to their support, and you know what, they never replied back to the support ticket.

It's been a week since the support ticket was created. They say they will reply personally within 24 hours, but in reality, they have a non-existent support, and they scam people with flashy marketing in broad daylight.

I do not recommend this software at all. Beware of this overly expensive scam software, that doesn't work at all!

This now amounts to a scam. DO NOT use this company. Customer service is non existent. Continuing to attempt to charge my card without permission - I already cancelled Duet autorenew last year. I have now emailed them 3 times, contacted via the contact form, and attempted to speak on live chat (a total of 5 attempts to contact their customer service team). I get responses that don’t acknowledge anything I’ve said whatsoever, they appear to be automated. Repeatedly attempting to charge my card for a renewal that I have already told them I don’t want, did not give permission for, and can’t access or use. Starting to look like fraudulent use of my card details and will have to report to my bank. More hassle.

I went into the 7 day trial expecting that I would only be charged after the trial had ended, but unfortunately I was charged immediately for a yearly subscription. Stay away from this product.

Update: got in touch with customer service and they claim that there is no trial. This is despite the "7 day trial" sign up button in their app.

Horrible experience. Created a trial account and the software didn't work properly. Contacted support which were utterly uselsess. Cancelled my subscription while still IN THE TRIAL period and still got charged for it. Do not recommend. Stay away from them.

They offer a free trial week and then make you pay 25 dollars. Thank you for scamming me!

Update: I just got my money back. Thank you so much for being a responsible company. But please change the layout of the app, otherwise people will still be charged without knowing it.

BE AWARE! I have susbcribed for a 1 week trial on their website and was IMMEDIATELY charged on the credit card for an annual subscription. I'm trying to get in touch with them (email, support chat, facebook) during the last 48 hours) without not even getting 1 reply. I will proceed with reporting this way of doing things to the payment institution.

I was told this app would be free by various platforms so tried downloading ended up taking my money now I can’t get refund, disappointed with the way apple has handled this and no one has helped me

This wasn't overly expensive but I have to say it is the worst experience I have ever been through. The lag is so bad it takes me an hour to do a job that should take 20 mins. I purchased Duet to speed up my productivity not slow it down :(

Duet Display is sh!t it does not share screens, it asks you to pay for some next bullcrap.

I like it! Gives me the option to use my iPad as my second monitor. Still, I hope they'll add the option to use your iPad as your main monitor. Nonetheless, great to have this app!
