Horrendous pram

We bought Egg 3 and I regret our purchase so much. Apart from it’s nice looks I can’t think of anything good to say about it.
Very heavy frame, no suspension and it’s not all terrain pram (but in the shop they said it is.)
Chunky handle, very uncomfortable if you use the pram for long walks.
To adjust basinet hood you need to push buttons on both sides which is so impractical and sometimes impossible to do if you walk downhill etc.
It’s hard to unzip basinet and also the fabric they use for the prams is not waterproof. I got caught in the rain and it took me days to dry out the pram.
Also we just switched from bassinet to seated pram, and our baby absolutely hates it, seat does not recline, you can just recline entire frame but baby is still in the seated position just horizontally.
Overall, just save your monies and get more practical pram that actually serves the purpose. I really don’t understand how these prams are so popular seems like a total scam to me.
I will be putting the pram up for the sale asap and replace with something that’s not so clunky and awkward.

I have egg 2 travel system for about two years now and I can’t stress enough how good it is! It really stands out, people are looking at us all the time when out on walks and probably think it just looks fancy but the look is not what is so good about it. It’s so easy to push even off road. I could go on about the great quality of it but I think what can explain it best is our recent experience with a different brand stroller we purchased for holiday abroad as wasn’t able to take egg2 stroller on airplane. Me and my husband hated it, our toddler didn’t seem to like it either, it was extremely difficult to use and it kept folding while out daughter was in it! We kept comparing it to our egg2 and as soon as we came back home we threw it away. I was so happy when we went for a walk with our egg stroller! I didn’t expect the difference to be this huge but now we’re going to buy eggZ for holiday in a month. All accessories that came with travel system were top quality too and we still use the backpack which we took with us on holiday too! Two years later and it still feels and looks pretty new, after using it so much the quality of it is still as high as brand new. My friend described it as Ferrari for kids and I couldn’t agree more! Also I will mention the egg customer services are top tier! I messaged them with questions on instagram and always had quick answers and very helpful even though you don’t buy from them direct!

Cannot fault this company. I contacted egg via instagram regarding a faulty clip for my buggy board and the replacement part was there in 24 hours! Perfect as we were going away. Not ever had service like this before - this is why we’ve got the full travel system from them. Best customer service ever and I didn’t even purchase direct from egg I got via a retailer but replacement sent direct from egg!

Don’t waste your money…. £1800 for a complete travel system…
Baby carrier car seat had jammed in the isofix base and wouldn’t release, the cover to the bassinet was faulty and the popper has come off on the baby charger…
My grandson is two weeks old … not what we would expect for something that cost so much money!!! Get your act together Egg!!!

Unfortunately our family car was stolen from our house with parts of our egg 3 travel system included. We were devastated, only had our 1st baby at the end of April. We loved the egg.
I contacted egg customer service to explain the situation & how I only needed to buy certain parts not the whole travel system again (to be honest I wasn’t expecting a reply from such a big company - I was just chancing my arm).
They happily liaised with our store & got us the parts we needed without having to repurchase parts we already had.
Super friendly, helpful, understanding, accommodating & took the time to phone me. Thank you all so much. You went above & beyond in our time of need.

Amazing pram set! We got the new egg 3 stroller and it’s just amazing! So easy to push and a really solid pram! The quality is amazing and after looking at every single brand out there I always went back to egg so I knew I made the right choice. We have the new houndstooth colour and everyone always comments on how gorgeous our pram is! 🫶

The pram itself is fine but the customer service of this company is atrocious. When moving from the bassinet to the seat when my baby was 6 months old I noticed there was no apron in the box. I contacted Egg and was told rather rudely that they can send me one but it will cost £30 as I had not reported it missing earlier. Lady on the phone was very accusatory as if I’m trying to get something for free, even though it should of been included in the first place.
I’ve forked out over £1600 for a travel bundle and they can’t rectify a mistake on their end without wanting more money.
I would avoid, there are plenty pushchairs out there that are just as good if not better and will look after their customers.

I absolutely am in love with my Egg 2 Travel System the range of colours and materials are beautiful. There so sturdy, robust and luxurious. Definitely a great purchase. DO NOT HESITATE to buy from Egg 100% recommend.

The Egg Pram has been such a disappointing purchase. I would advise others to save your money and NOT buy this pram.
Our chassis pulled terribly to one side from the beginning and the customer service was dreadful from both The Baby Shop from where we purchased the pram and from Egg who were completely dismissive. Eventually after much upset, the shop we purchased from gave us a replacement chassis which we collected but it was unboxed. We suspect it had been a demo.
It too pulled to the side and the shop told us they didn’t believe it pulled.
Basically we are now left with a pram we have been very disappointed with and Egg did nothing to assist us.
As the baby gets bigger, this pram becomes so heavy it pulls on your arms too. Also, the hood doesn’t pull down sufficiently to protect the baby from sunlight and you have to buy something additional. The Bugaboo hood is a much better design.
Overall a very expensive and disappointing purchase which we would not recommend.
We ended up buying another brand of pram which is much more user friendly and lighter to push.
Many design flaws with the Egg pram and not worthy of the hefty price tag.
Zero customer service.

It’s the smoothes stroller out there.
We have had ours for two years and just love it. It’s so easy and fits through the narrowest door openings. It works great in all weather conditions too. Trust me we have had ours up in the snowy mountains, bricked roads, on walks in nature and there’s never an issue moving forward. We have had it on vacations all over too and just love it, so does everyone else who tries to push it too!

The staff at the shop were extremely helpful. They showed me and my husband the ranges of prams. I seen the egg2 in mink online and when I seen it in store I loved the color.
The staff member demonstrated how to put the pram down and up, breaks and the wheels can be set straight or freely.
I’m a first time mum. I love that the egg2 goes down really easy and puts together easy too. It fits well in my car. I’d highly recommend x

I have used my egg pram/stroller for both of my sons and still absolutely adore it. Four years on and still going strong. Amazing quality, stunning in the eye and easy to use. I would recommend no one else!

I have loved my egg pram up to now... within a year 2 brackets under the pram have snapped off. Egg have advised these are not covered within 1 year warranty and claim excessive force would be applied to snap these. Depsite me clarifying that no force was applied and both brackets fell off at different times when walking they are disputing this. Not only am I being felt like a liar but also being told its £50 repair fee and would leave me without a pram for god knows how long. Depsite warranty the consumer right Act states the consumer should expect reasonable durability of a product depending on price.... as we know egg prams are NOT cheap and I would not expect brackets to break off within a year of purchase when NO excessive force was applied... very poor durability. I've also been trying to have this resolved since beginning of October. Very disappointed as I've loved this pram but would not advise purchase if things are already falling off within 1 year for this price.

We bought an Egg2 pram through a a small retailer who we found online. We unboxed the pram a week before my due date to find that one of the clasps had snapped therefore the pram could not be folded away. This is poor quality to start with as this is a main part however we accept that these things do happen. The retailer contacted Baby Style UK who are they the Egg manufacturer in the UK, they arranged DPD to collect the frame from my house on the 14/11 between 12:47 and 13:47. 

I was told the frame would be repaired and back with me on Friday the 17th at the worst case….. they day before my due date. DPD came at 13:17 and collected the box and left a collection card with a tracking number on. I sent this onto the retailer as proof. I was then contacted the next day by the retailer saying that Baby Style UK said that DPD had not collected the parcel. 

I explained that I had already sent her the collection card and she then sent this onto Baby Style UK. Baby Style UK then got back in touch to say that this collection card was over 9 months old and that I had sent a fraudulent card over. This was an official DPD card with a number on of which the driver took a sticker off and attached to the box, he had a DPD jacket on and had a handheld device to scan the parcel. Where would I be able to magic this card up from? They said that between myself and the retailer we had to foot the bill and pay £450 for a new frame and they wouldn’t take the matter further unless I had further proof such as door bell footage. A low percentage of houses have cameras so I don’t see why this should be applicable. We do have a Blink camera however the footage is deleted after 48 hours unless we manually save the videos. 

As I had a collection card and the parcel was collected I didn’t even think to save the video! Without this video Baby Style UK didn’t care and Tina’s attitude was terrible! At this point I was three days overdue and spent hours on the phone to Blink and watching YouTube videos of how to retrieve deleted videos, after restoring 15,000 videos I managed to retrieve the video of the DPD driver who collected my frame and claimed he hadn’t. This was very time consuming and stressful at a time that’s suppose to be exciting and relaxing. After we sent the video to Baby Style UK, DPD said that they would have to do a warehouse search which would take at least 6 working days. At this point Baby Style UK should have sent out a frame so that I could use my pram….. again not a care given by Baby Style UK so we all had to just sit and wait. 

Thankfully the retailer who I bought it from actually had a heart and used her personal savings to buy a new frame to send me that week. Why she should have to use her own savings and be out of pocket is beyond me! No wonder so many small businesses are going under if they are treated the way that Baby Style UK treat them! Let’s be honest if the frame retails at £450 then it probably costs £50 to manufacture, this is not a lot to ask for. Then if DPD manage to locate the frame then they could put that one back in stock!

First of all Egg prams are clearly poor quality as the clasp had broken before I’ve even used the pram, and secondly and more importantly their customer service and after sales is horrendous! Tina in customer service did not have a care in the world. I was clearly upset and worried about the loss of money and that I wouldn’t have a pram to bring my baby home in. All she said was these things take months to resolve and it’s DPDs issue. Babystyle organised the collection and should have carriage insurance or if not be able to absorb the small cost of a frame. After all it wasn’t a full pram! But no they are happy to throw a small business under the bus and leave a new born baby without a pram!

DO NOT BUY AN EGG PRAM YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I have moved up to the stroller now that my little girl is 6 months, she loves being able to sit up and look around and is lovely and cosy with the fur liner now that it’s colder outside.

I never leave reviews but feel that I need to share my thoughts on this pram to help other parents make an informed choice.

We loved the look of the egg2 - its design and all the accessories that come with it. But having used the pram for the last 7 months, our positive feedback stops there. Our main issue which almost renders the pram unusable unless it’s dark, is the canopy. It doesn’t come down far enough so my baby is exposed to UV and the sun is always in her eyes - she hates it. I’ve compared the canopy to other prams like the nuna, cybex and bugaboo and it’s so ridiculously short.

I’ve bought the egg brolly but you have to hold in place to get any coverage, and the egg sunshade but it completely covers the front of the pram so my baby can’t see out - not ideal for an inquisitive 7 month old. I’ve resorted to turning the actual stroller round on the base depending on where the sun is - which is ridiculous.

I got in touch with Egg via social media and their response was so dismissive.

We have bought another pram and will be selling this at a massive loss I imagine.

As a product it’s designed so well. It’s so easy to use. BUT their customer service is none existent. I bought a car seat. It broke after a couple of weeks (in July). I’m November now and I’m still begging for them to help. They have now ignored me for several weeks after fobbing me off several times. A Rude and unhelpful company. There are many prams designed the same that have better customer service and are in the same price range so I’d go there and avoid egg. I bought a car seat from pram centre but it’s you I’ve been emailing. Samantha crane is the person who has been speaking to me like dirt.
