Everything was perfect. The best customer service i could of asked for. Everything was on time and they kept to what they said they’d do. Instalation was quick clean and to the best standard. Couldn’t fault thanks!

I've had a solar and battery system on a Hometree Finance plan, installed through their installer Emerald Solar, and it has been one issue after another since installation.

First, the system didn't export to the grid, and that took 4–5 months to sort out. As soon as it was fixed in May, the batteries stopped charging overnight, even though overnight charging had worked fine before. Hometree's own support team suggested that the fix may have knocked the system out of sync.

I raised this in early September. After nearly three weeks of back-and-forth, Hometree told me the system is "working" because the batteries charge between 12pm and 6pm, which isn't how it was set up to work. They then told me to contact Levelise, a unit that was fitted as part of the original installation, which I have no agreement with and don't pay. Meanwhile, I pay Hometree over £110 every month for this system.

Sales and installation process was great and they had our solar installed in a week!
