Charged way above quoted price
Quoted £49 and charged £141.60 for a 5 minute job. When I called and booked I asked how much in total it would cost and was told £49 plus V.A.T. and the website clearly stated no call out charge but then was charged a call out fee of £69 on top, on looking closer at the invoice sheet I was handed after I can see the 6 on the £69 has been written over a 4 so I'm suspicious that he adjusted the price upward on the spot.
THERE IS A CALL OUT FEE!
Called out as it says no call out charge, when quoted over £400 to fix an £80 part I said no thanks and he charged me £59 call out fee. He was at my home less than 12 minutes! SCAMMERS.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam, I wish I had read these reviews before I used their service. Just broke my lock without asking, didn't try to pick the lock. Then charged nearly £200 for a new lock and the £49 fee plus VAT. I was robbed
Total scam
The advert initially states no call out charge. The guy arrived and I explained that my key had stuck in my front door lock.He gave me prices for a like for like lock or a better lock.I opted for like for like.He replaced it with a new lock however the new key had stuck in that aswell. He informed me that I needed a new front door mechanism and quoted me several prices ranging from£200 upwards.I refused and asked him for the bill.He took £49 for call out,£40 labour and£18 V.A.T and I was left with a front door without any locks.Would steer clear of this company .In my opinion definately not reputable.I got a local locksmith out the following day and repaired it within minutes at a fraction of the price.Avoid,avoid,avoid.Last time I will use a sponsored company.
SCAMMERS
An engineer went to my mothers house to quote on a door lock - he originally quoted £47 to change a lock then the price went up to £200 as some drilling work was required, my mother said that was too expensive and the engineer asked how much she wanted to pay, they both agreed on £150 and he started doing the work, after 5 mins into the work he stopped and stole the lock from the door and left the house! These people are absolute cowboys and I will be reporting them to the police!!
Don't phone these people they are only…
Don't phone these people they are only after your money
SCAMMING SCUMBAGS
SCAMMING SCUMBAGS, their website is full of fake reviews, If I had a option for 0 stars I would give it, website states they charge from £39 with no call out fee, this is all false they do not attempt to do anything other than drill your lock out which they charge £235, they then charge you at least £80 call out fee even though their website says no call out fee, plus they then add on VAT on top of the amount they are charging you, altogether this will cost you about £400 this is without replacing the lock, DO NOT trust these guys
Goodness knows where to start scammers
Goodness knows where to start ! I wouldn’t even give them one star ! Partner phoned as our door as jammed and couldn’t open a man turned up in his car with a couple tools and didn’t speak much English hard to understand he asked to break off our thumb lock to see the problem so he broke it off took one side of the handle off and took out the spring from the handle and left us with a broken door quoted 200/300 and couldn’t do the work till next day .so we reached out to another trust worthy locksmith this time only to find outt there was no need for our thumb lock to off been broken off with a hammer he snapped it off and did more damage inside our lock and then the woman on the phone was useless talking over me and the guy who came blamed us for giving him permission to break our lock even when we had no idea what he was doing don’t ever waste your time with these guys
Absolute scam
Absolute scam, charged £950 for a lock out, didn't even try to pick the lock, just immediately drilled
DO NOT USE
Was at my door for a total of 2 minutes…
Was at my door for a total of 2 minutes and charged me -£178.00 just to drill the door. Website states no call out fee and costs starting from £26.00. Tried to charge extra for a new lock but I had to leave this as I couldn’t afford it. The guy was very rude also.
Door would not lock
Door would not lock, came out and took it all apart then unable to put it back together and no temporary locks - so went from a door that didn’t lock to a door that didn’t shut at all. Charged a call out fee of 48 quid, refused to pay more. Cowboy. Professional locksmith then came and was appalled by work. Don’t use, should read reviews, went off the Google add, lesson learnt.
Misleading Quotes and Poor Customer Service - AVOID!!!
Title:
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
I would strongly advise against using this company based on my recent experience.
Misleading pricing: I was quoted £35 + VAT over the phone to replace a front door barrel lock. When the locksmith arrived, the price suddenly jumped to over £200 - a significant difference that was never mentioned during booking.
Incorrect specification: I specifically confirmed multiple times - both with the office and the locksmith on site - that the replacement lock needed to be British Standard. It quickly became apparent after fitting that it wasn't. This was a key requirement that had been confirmed prior to the work.
Unexpected fees: When I requested they reinstall my original lock due to the incorrect specification, I was hit with unexpected cancellation fees and additional charges I hadn't been informed about.
Poor communication: After multiple phone calls and emails attempting to resolve the situation and request a refund, I received defensive responses from staff. When I asked for the managers name, I was told "You don't need to know that" - which I found completely unacceptable.
Resolution: With no response to my emails and unhelpful phone conversations, I had to dispute the payment through my building society. Fortunately, they acted quickly and I received my refund.
Summary: Misleading quotes, incorrect work, hidden fees, and dismissive customer service. I cannot recommend this company.

Utter scam artists
My door lock broke and I therefore was unable to lock it. I called them (should have read the reviews first but it was in the evening outside of normal working hours and I just needed someone to do it) to send somebody out to have a look at it. The guy claimed it would cost me £395 plus VAT (so basically £500) for the locking rail as it was an expensive model and £139 plus VAT for labour to change it. I looked online and it was clear that he was completely taking the p155 with that. I told him no thanks and he started acting all shocked and told me that if I managed to find one cheaper then let him know. Luckily my mate who knows a bit about DIY turned out to know where to get one (it cost £103, not £500!) and was also able to fit it for me in less than half an hour. Don't anybody fall for these scam artists.
All costs are false.
Quoted £49 foe emergency fallout, and said its more if its complicated. Their definition if complicated is 10minutes work instead of 5 mins. The cost immediately jumped up to £160 + VAT. All Locks were quoted as £25-£40. Yet the cost was then £100 +VAT because it was not a standard lock and the cheaper ones weren't suitable. The cost in total was £312 instead of the £100 total that was expected. They were here about 30mins total. Saturday 9pm. I rang the company to complain, they said i have to ring a dedicated line to complain, I was given 2 numbers. The automated message said they aren't taking calls, you have email. There is no email address given, and there isn't one on the invoice.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless, do not use the awful company.

Called at 1.40pm for a local locksmith because advertised as 15-30 mins away. I was told I would get a call from engineer within one hour. By 3pm I phoned again having heard nothing. I was told he was on the way and would phone. When he did I was told he would be with me between 3.30-4.0pm At 4.20 I received a series of calls as he tried to find our home. He eventually arrived in a private car on foreign plates. Within 5 mins was told it would be a long job and would cost £210 to just open the door but the door would likely be damaged and need repairing later. At which point I said "no thanks leave it". I was then told I would have to pay for a cancelled job which I refused to do.
Physical Assault After Price Dispute - Police called
I am writing this review to formally document a deeply distressing and unsafe experience and to warn others.
I accidentally left the night latch lock engaged when leaving my property. I still had my keys for the bottom lock. I contacted this locksmith after seeing their website clearly advertise £39 with no call-out charge, which was also verbally confirmed to me over the phone.
The locksmith arrived approximately 30 minutes later. Upon arrival, he stated that the job was very simple and attempted to open the door using a plastic card, not specialist tools. After a short attempt, he told me it was “not working” and claimed the lock would need to be drilled and damaged. He also stated that drilling the lock and causing damage would be approximately £150.
As I did not have permission from my landlord to damage the lock and it was late at night, I told him to leave the job and that I would find another way to access the property.
Immediately after I said this, he suddenly managed to open the door using the same plastic card. The entire process took no more than five minutes and no specialist tools were required.
Once the door was open, he then aggressively demanded £150, despite having quoted £39 both verbally and online. When I questioned this, he repeatedly insisted it was “not a simple job”, which is demonstrably untrue given the method used and the short duration of the work.
I am a young girl who was alone at the property, visibly distressed and desperate to regain access to my home. It was clear that he attempted to take advantage of this vulnerability by significantly increasing the price after the work had been completed.
When I refused to pay £150 and stated that I would only pay the quoted amount, I contacted my older sister for support. During this time, the locksmith entered my property, took my keys (including my car key), then physically pushed me out of my home onto the floor and slammed the door shut, re-engaging the night latch lock with my keys inside.
This action appeared deliberate and calculated. He left me locked out of my property without access to my car, removing my ability to sit in a place of safety. I was left alone outside, in distress, late at night.
He then claimed he was “calling his manager”, collected tools he had not used, got into his vehicle and drove away.
The following day, my sister contacted the company to enquire about the cost of the same service and was again quoted £39 with no call-out charge. When she explained what had happened to me the previous night, the man on the phone abruptly changed his position, claimed £150 was correct, verbally abused her and cut the call.
This incident has been reported to the police and Trading Standards and the entire interaction was captured on my Ring doorbell footage, including the physical assault and re-locking of the door.
This was not merely a dispute over pricing. It involved false advertisement, intimidation, exploitation of a vulnerable individual and physical assault. I would strongly caution anyone, particularly those who may be alone or in a vulnerable situation, against using this service.
(The locksmith who attended was a male of approximately 5’8”, slim build and appeared to be in his mid-40s. He was wearing glasses at the time of the incident. Based on his accent and appearance, he may have been Eastern European or possibly Arab, though I cannot say this with certainty. He arrived in a silver Vauxhall Astra, registration MD65 UUZ.
I am including this description so others can identify him if necessary. To all vulnerable individuals - especially young women - if this individual is assigned to your job, I would strongly advise declining the service)
Trespess, physical assualt, trading standards
Ring door bell evidence sent to trading standard of civil trespess, and pushing my sister out her property. Also reported regarding advertising incorrect prices, and no call out charge, but then the above happens if u dont pay this, when they quote you totally different on phone. To think they can physically get violent over fee dispute, is absolutely disgusting and plain abusive, especially when it is a grown man with a very young teen female!!!!!
HUGE SCAM
HUGE SCAM. DO NOT USE.
If I could rate them a 0 I would. They are an incredibly dodgy company that is run from a ran down house in London. They have multiple businesses which they never file the accounts for and therefore have been shutdown previously. A simple google search will show you how sketchy this business is. They have multiple businesses running the same thing under different directors from that small house. They will quote you £40-50 on the initial phone call, and when they arrive, they will attempt to do the work before you get the chance to stop them. This way they can pressure you into paying their scam prices of between £180-850. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have been reported to trading standards for their improper and illegal practices.
