Repair was a good experience I did not score 5 stars because the initial assessment of problem by phone identified switch issue which was sent in post. The engineer came and the problem was the motor (waste of time / engineer visit / equipment !!!!!
Second part arrived in post and 2nd engineer visit on time and problem resolved which would have been a 5 star apart from 1st initial contact 😀

We do, however, appreciate your feedback regarding the initial diagnosis. While our telephone triage process helps us identify the most likely cause of a fault and allows us to send parts in advance where possible, there are occasions when a physical inspection is required to fully determine the root cause. In your case, the switch was initially identified as the likely issue, but our engineer subsequently established that the motor required replacement instead.
We understand the frustration this caused, resulting in an additional visit and a delay in getting your furniture fully operational. Your comments are valuable and help us review how we can continue to improve our diagnostic process.
Thank you again for your feedback. We're delighted that the repair has now been successfully completed and that our engineer provided a positive experience.
Issue with my sofa structure
Technician was polite and honest. He informed me after a initial visual assessment on potential worst case scenario, but then went to work to confirm his assessment, or fix the issue.
We ended up receiving a full repair, sofa looks brand new and works perfectly. He was quick, yet careful and quietly at work, leaving the space spotless when he finished.

Emmiera technical fix
The technician arrived within the time frame stated. He was polite,mannerable and performed the repair to the snapped glider for one of the drawers in the bedroom unit.

I was contacted by the technician the night before his arrival.I was given a one hour time slot for the next morning. True to his word he arrived on time and proceeded to lay a protective cover on his area of work. May I say he was a very friendly and professional throughout the whole repair process. The Engineer who came was very friendly helpful and professional. He solved the problem and gave me advice on what to do.
However it would be helpful if the Engineers could give the customer a call an hour before to confirm what time they will be there. He.was there early than time that had been given and I might have missed him

Absolutely shameful and totally disgraceful
Hired by a retailer I have dispute with in the furniture Ombudsman . The inspector verbally told me the truth about the defect but the formal written report was sanitized to protect the retailer from any liability.
I wish if I recorded the visit and I wish if I have not allowed them to my house.

We had a new leather sofa delivered and…
We had a new leather sofa delivered and it was damaged, we were devastated at our beautiful new sofa not being perfect and didn’t want to return it because of the wait time involved to get another one, and we didn’t want to be without it ! And initially, we weren’t happy about having a repair done to it either as we we thought it would always look less than perfect. However the furniture company were happy to let Emmiera come and have a look at it to see if they could repair it. So, along comes their man Danny, and he did an absolutely fabulous job of repairing the scratch on the backrest, my wife said when she came home “ I thought it was being repaired, have they replaced it “ She couldn’t tell. Danny was really good at what he does and had absolute respect for our home and the new carpet we’d just had put down, he was a really nice chap, friendly and polite, and boy did he know his stuff. We are 100% happy. All I hope is that over the next couple of years that the repair doesn’t deteriorate and start to show. Only time will tell, but in the meantime, Thankyou to Emmiera for a great job.

The technician rang 15 minutes before to tell me he was on way. The technician that came was very friendly, also removing his shoes. We told him the problem and he dealt with it straightaway. He did a fab job really pleased.
