The appointment process was a good experience

The appointment process was trouble and stress free easy to use app appointments shown and you could choose date confirmed right away, on day of visit we were contacted to be given time and time was stuck to, the upholsterer was polite knowledgeable explained what he was doing answered all questions very happy with service throughout would recommend

Great company

Lovely gentleman came and checked the sofa, ordered more stuffing and was back within the fortnight. On time, fixed it, very polite and all looks wonderful.

Replace button/ usb unit to couch

Harry our repair technician came to solve a solution with the mechanical buttons and usb/c ports on our sofa.
He was very knowledgeable polite and fixed the issue with knew button/port units
Harry tested the usb/c ports worked and the leg and neck hydraulics systems worked.
Very nice man indeed.

Fab service

Fab service, the company came through furniture village, our swivel table wasn't working, The Emmiera guy came on time, fixed the problem, showed us what to do if anything occurred in the future and left in 10 minutes! He was very informative and courteous.

Absolutely amazing technician

Absolutely amazing technician. Took time to inspect the mattress and was so polite and respectful.. Very friendly and did a great inspection. Very approachable and answered all of my questions.

In conclusion to a very stressful issue…

In conclusion to a very stressful issue concerning SCS and Emmeria after a near 4 mnth wait for a repair, when dealing with Emmiera to do the repair, at the onset INSIST on them sending a technician to your home at the start or you could be in the 1% their triage team make a wrong assessment to your detriment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry for the frustration and stress caused by the initial diagnosis and the delay you experienced before the correct repair was carried out.
You are absolutely right to highlight that, on this occasion, our triage assessment was incorrect. While our remote diagnostic process helps resolve the vast majority of cases efficiently, we fully acknowledge that this fell into the small percentage where an in‑person visit should have taken place sooner, and we apologise that this did not happen at the outset.
Once the issue was fully assessed on-site, we’re pleased we were able to complete the repair, but we understand this does not take away from the inconvenience caused by the extended wait. Your feedback has been shared internally and is being used to review and improve our triage procedures to minimise the risk of this happening again.

Did nothing and gave up

Came on behalf of HSL. Looked at the chair problem saw the problem and went. Apparently called me on phone with report ? Never heard from them again. Called HSL to chase and again nothing. What happens next ? Elderly mother left in discomfort with a problematic chair costing over £2000

We are sorry to hear that your elderly mother is experiencing discomfort due to her chair.

HSL instructed us to attend to assess any issues and adjust if required.

Our technician has correctly assessed that the chair is not faulty per se. Please note that comfort is subjective and not something that we can measure.

As a gesture of goodwill (as the reported issue is not a manufacturing fault), our technician added booster pads and foam in an attempt to make the chair more 'comfortable' and so that your mother can sit in a more 'upright' position.

Under the circumstances, this was all that we could do and our technician has gone above and beyond.

We are sorry that you remain happy with the chair and can only suggest that you contact your retailer as we do not manufacture nor sell furniture.
