ERA Protect Reviews 

Must admit my alarm has worked fine for 4 years, until lately that has been a bit of a challenge, however after changing the code on everything and by doing so realising the bell battery was totally had its day, I purchased a new replacement one from ERA, I could have got similar a lot cheaper on line but decided I’d best get a recommendation part.
Once ordered it came in fair time, and seems to be working fine. If it last as long as the last one, I’ll be happy with it.

I've had the ERA Protect system for four years & I can honestly say the product is very good & the Technical Support is excellent

I’ve had a couple of issues with my ERA solar alarm system and spoke to Kush on the helpline. On both occasions he talked me through the solutions in a concise and easy to understand way which resolved the issues. He was very customer focused and an asset to your or any company.

Product delivered on time and at a good price.
ERA happy to give advise prior to purchase.

We have the touch key smart handle / lock.
Brilliant product, use fob or fingerprint, great for access.

Reason for 4 stars is the app. Not fantastic but it’s fine. Setting up the geolocation, still can’t figure it out. This is so the phone can open the door as you approach, it would be a great thing as if your hands were full, saves the faff.

So, a little frustrated with the above, need a little help with this.

the product does not work.
you told me it was a server problem and that you had reset it and my system will now work, IT STILL DOES NOT WORK AS I STILL CANNOT GET ONTO YOUR SYSTEM.
I will give this one more chance as i am awaiting your response to my latest email of 27/7/26 and if it still does not work at your end I will return it as Not Fit for Purpose Consumer Credit Act due to my being unable to access your app which is required to use this alarm system.

Easy to install, very quick to sync all the items in the kit. Really pleased how well it went.

Updated my subscription plan for security alarm system. Very easy to complete online and received activation code promptly. All sorted with no fuss.

My ERA MyGuard5 alarm controller failed after ten years service. I contacted ERA hoping to find a replacement, to be told the model had been superceded by ERA Protect hub, but all the components I had would work with the new controller. I placed an order which was delivered the next day. When trying set up it was clear the old components would not work. A further call to ERA confirmed this but allowed me to create a new system with a limited number of components.
The primary information was not correct and I finished up having to acquire more new sensors than I planned. However the delivery service was excellent and the latter advice was very useful. I am happy with what I now have but sad it took too much effort to achieve a fully working and comprehensive system. The app is good and clearly still being developed which should lead to enhancements in the future.

Great alarm and easy to fit.

Sold bogus product by Screwfix your team were very helpful and as a result got full refund.

After purchasing premium cover it did not appear in my account but was sorted quickly.
