Having returned to the UK during a pandemic after being in the US for a decade, I needed help filing my US taxes (as part of my tax year was spent there). Expat Tax Professionals were warm and efficient and held my hand through the process. The tax questionnaire is lengthy but talking to my consultant made the process easier and also allowed me to know which documents to prioritise and which others were not needed in my case. The accountant who handled my paperwork was professional and friendly and direct, allowing me to quickly fill in the gaps in terms of further information or documents. Altogether a positive experience and help that I hugely needed. Thank you to the team!

Couldn't recommend Expat more. They have made the filing process incredibly easy from abroad and more have even stepped in to support when I made minor mistakes on my form initially! Really takes the stress away from filing and couldn't recommend more. Incredibly affordable for the service as well.

Quick and simple they took care of everything

Expat Tax Professionals took the anxiety out of ensuring my family's taxes were handled correctly. They were responsive, available, and helpful. We are on our third year with this company, and each season, Expat Tax makes it easier and easier to file.

Highly recommend Expat Tax Professionals. They helped me complete my taxes after I moved back from the US to the UK. I'd lived in multiple states during the year, went through a divorce, and also lived between the US/UK. They were incredibly helpful and made the process so easy. I was really stressed about this before reaching out to them and they eliminated all of that.

Really good experience with EPT. They were patient and thorough and guided me through the process of gathering the info needed and completing their comprehensive questionnaire to support the filing process. They were proactive in offering advice and responded quickly to any questions I asked.

I first contacted Expat Tax Professionals to enter into the IRS Streamline Program. We first spoke on the phone to see if I qualified, which I did. Then they told me the cost. They work on a 1/2 upfront and the second half when the tax return has been completed.

The process is very easy and it all happens on the internet. They send a series of forms for particular years, in my case 2017-2018-2019 for the streamline program and 2020 to keep me current with the tax man. I was assigned an accountant who I could liaise with if there was something I didn’t understand or if I filled out a question in a way the accountant didn’t understand.

Once all the years are filled in to my liking I accept that year and go on to the next. Once all are completed they prepare the tax forms and I can read on internet. If all is correct I accept, and then comes the dreaded second payment due.

Once that is paid everything is downloadable for printing. In my case the Streamlined System forms had to be printed, signed and sent to Texas to the IRS. My 2020 tax return was handled electronically by Expat Tax Professionals.

All in all it was a pretty stressless experience. The rates are reasonable and customer service s good. I will definitely be using Expat Tax Professionals for all my future tax returns.
