I've used Expat Professionals for two years after retiring as a dual US/UK citizen in the UK. I checked out their credentials with other reviews and the IRS and I feel my due diligence was justified. They completed my IRS 1040 and 540 with professionalism and applied the US/UK tax treaty as I expected. Thanks for a good job well done at a reasonable charge.

I have used Expat Tax Professionals last two year and found them very professional and provided a good guide to all my tax requirements.

I used Expat Tax Professionals LLC to handle my American Tax Returns. I was behind in filing and until this year was unaware of my duty to file. Once I learned of it, I decided to get help from a third party company to help me file.

Everything went off just fine. The advice I received was comprehensive and quite useful. The information gathering process took quite a while - filing a tax return basically seemed like sorcery to me - but once completed I received the filled-in forms within a week.

I had absolutely no problems sending the relevant forms to the IRS and getting my returns back. I actually made money off this tax season because I was made aware of tax credits I didn't know I qualified for. I'll be using them to do my tax returns next year, too.

Responsiveness to my queries was very good, and the process seems to have worked well, resulting in the first tax return for us to be filed, which is great. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I felt the timeline expectation could have been explained more, which would have saved a few chase-up emails.

This was our first year using Expat Tax Professionals to submit our US tax returns to the IRS. And we have been very gratified by the prompt, courteous and efficient service we have received. We've had unfortunate experiences with two other companies in the five years since we moved to the UK: it became increasingly clear that neither of them really understood US/UK tax agreements or the awkward situation US citizens are in tax-wise when living abroad. From the start they knew exactly what we needed, answered all questions virtually by return and have simply taken all the anxiety out of the tax process for us.

To coin a phrase from an old television advertisement for paint, you did what it said on the tin. Very helpful and efficient staff from the person who helped with the initial compilation of information to the person who completed the return. The only mild criticism was that I had to ask for confirmation that the return had been filed

The online questionnaire form that they provided was one of the best interfaces that I have ever worked with in the industry. I had a very complex expat financial and tax profile to sort through and they were able to address all questions and concerns in such a fashion that I submitted my taxes with 100% confidence that they were accurate and that I was receiving my optimal return. Managing taxes as an expat was one of my greatest areas of concern when moving abroad and Expat Professionals completely ameliorated the concerns. I will be using them as long as I am living abroad in countries which they support.

My family and companies have been using the services of Expat Tax Professionals for a number of years now. There are multiple filing requirements in both countries, and on different financial reporting periods. The team at Expat are able to quickly decipher complex reporting rules, assess the client's situation and affairs, and give sound, firm advice to ensure compliance in both countries. I looked at many international firms prior to settling on Expat, and I have never been disappointed. They exceed my expectations every single time. It's great to be able to rest easy knowing that all of my tax affairs are in perfect order and that I am fully compliant, whilst being able to utilise effective strategies to ensure we are not unnecessarily overpaying our obligations. I would not consider using anyone else- this level of care, competence, diligence and value are extremely difficult to find.
