Easy to bid and pay and item was good value and arrived quickly and well packaged

I’d been looking for the art piece for 6 or 7 years as a limited-edition piece. When it finally showed up, it was on this platform that I knew nothing about. I did plenty of reading to check that everything was legit, which it seemed to be. Historically when I have brought paintings online not direct from a gallery, I’ve been slightly disappointed with the quality – pictures showing the paintings to be in better condition than they actually were.

FairArt’s grading system is accurate, ‘like new’ really was like it had come new from a gallery. Methods of payment and dispute options also gave peace of mind. The painting arrived incredibly well packaged. It is clear that the site caters well for the casual collector, taking on the checks and balances to ensure authenticity, while making transactions simple. I certainly won’t hesitate to use them again. I also like the fact that the artist gets some proceeds from the resale.

There were problems with the shipment (not the fault of FairArt) but FairArt, and Emelyn (the Logistics Manager) in particular, were excellent. Their response was rapid, proactive and supportive and they got involved to try to sort out the issues as quickly as possible. Communications were always very good so even though there were delays, I knew what the status was and what was happening to resolve everything. Thanks Emelyn and FairArt!
