I placed my wish list request on the site, not expecting to hear anything. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received confirmation that my print had been offered for sale! The transaction went smoothly, the print was in excellent condition and very well packed, and delivery was speedy. Overall, a brilliant experience.

As a low level buyer you worry that you won't be taken seriously whilst knowing that your 1.7k carries a weightier significance than 1.7m does for someone with that to spare!
I could be naive here but I don't believe FairArt could've treat me any differently with either sum. Encouraging, reassuring and communicative with calls often crossing continents. The process of purchase proved part of the excitement of the experience.
If I ever do have 1.7m to spare, with an Alex Katz to find, I'll go to FairArt first.

Really easy process! Wasn't sure initially as I had never used FairArt but after reading some reviews and doing a bit research I took the plunge. I listed the art, which was straightforward enough, bit fiddly setting up the payment process but it wasn't onerous. Found a buyer immediately! Postage was the scariest bit but they arranged the shipping labels with DHL - they took payment for this from the sale and included insurance - gave me 3 working days to dispatch, so I arranged for DHL pickup and they came the next day. Goods arrived with the buyer the next day and I received payment about 5 days later.

Customer service points:
I had an issue with postage label not being complete so contacted them through their online portal, Emelyn responded and was very helpful in resolving the issue. She was very reassuring and was not wrong in her assurance, so all good there. There was also a discrepancy with the ETA of my payment on the website as it had changed the time frame to a later date, but I contacted Emelyn and she sorted it so I got my payment within the originally specified time frame. Only point of critique would be that there is no support over the weekend but other than that a great experience and would definitely use them again. Thank you FairArt and Emelyn in particular!

Very great way to buy art in my opinion, art I purchased came quickly, well protected and in mint condition no different then buying from a gallery. You’re also updated throughout each point of dispatch to delivery. Also great that the artist gets some of the royalties too

This was shipped very quickly via DHL which handles many packages coming into the USA from abroad. Took a week to arrive; can’t beat that! Item just as described. Well packaged. I really like how they operate with prices for buying and selling stated upfront. No gimmicks. Nothing hidden. The artist gets a royalty payment. All good.
