Excellent customer service from Max
I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to Max, who has been exceptional in showing me around several apartments and consistently going the extra mile to answer my questions. Although I didn’t end up purchasing at Print Makers Yard, I truly appreciated Max’s flexibility and proactive approach throughout the process. Pushy sales and constant unwanted communication
I have not purchased with Fairview, but completed 2 viewings at the Silverton with Sarah. I originally liked the property enough to bring my partner along for the second viewing. During/after this second viewing, we both felt Sarah had been quite pushy with the sale and was almost using scare tactics to try and get us to put an offer in. As first time buyers this was overwhelming. After her trying several times to try and get an offer there and then (such as “oh but you’ll be upset if it goes” and “if you both like it then why not make an offer now”), we said we wanted time to think. I was then hassled by her and another colleague multiple times the following week, and then told her we had decided to look for freehold instead. She then asked me to leave her an “obviously good review” which made me feel uncomfortable. Since then, I’ve been texted several times from Fairview, periodically saying “ Last 2-bed! Stunning 2-bed, 2-bath show home for £500K + up to £25K top-up. Act fast - this will go quickly! (And then the Silverton email address)“. I had asked to be opted out of all communication several weeks ago so I have no idea why I’m still being pestered. I just called up Fairview to ask why I’m still being contacted and asked to take off the list, and the lady who answered was rather blunt and not apologetic at all. Based on all of this, we have been left with a sour taste of Fairview and completely put off them. If Sarah had been less pushy, we may have gone for a third viewing and made a decision.
*Update on 12th September at 13:26pm. Just got called by the silverton. Decided to ignore the call as I clearly stated I want no further communication with the Silverton or fairview. Decided to call back 20 mins later so find out why I was being pestered once again. Spoke to a man who apologised on fairview’s behalf and admitted I was only opted out of communication 2 days ago (10th September). Not his personal fault so apology accepted and I appreciate him reaching out.

Extremely poor sound proofing
Extremely poor sound proofing. I have contacted Fairview and am waiting for a resolution before I write a FULL review sharing the exact issues I am facing.
In response to your reply -
The sound test carried out was NOT carried out in the room in question and on the opposite side of the apartment.
Unfortunately a pass in the kitchen does not mean the other rooms would also pass.
Interestingly, when I was sent the sound tests for my apartment layout, the majority of tests (all but one) were carried out in the kitchen area only.
It is unfortunate that your company refuses to complete a sound test for the room in question.
I await your response and outcome before adding further information to this post.

Really helpful and friendly
We were helped by Max, Bass, Elizabeth, and Lina and others from Fairview to buy a 1bed flat.
We were quite anxious and thought we weren't ready to buy a house yet, but they made a great deal with us to ensure that we could get it, with a generous incentive.
They remained professional and helpful from the start until completion, which was a nice delight as I usually had much duller experience from other companies and my idea of the industry had been at a low bar, but they definitely managed to raise it.

Avoid, avoid, avoid
I am afraid to say that this is what I was worried about to the point that I hugely regret that I bought a flat from them. I live in Dock28 that was recently delivered by Fairview. Outside the building seems ok, but when you start living in it, things become challenging. As I am writing this I have fever and I cannot turn the heating on for unknown reasons. They operate in this grey/scam area of heat networks (it is the "new" thing in the UK for companies to get hands in our pockets) under Watkins Energy. You cannot buy the flat unless you agree to sign with Watkins. You sign despite the extortionate prices, but at least you are expecting the minimum value. I am writing this, sitting in a cold flat that I bought for hundreds of thousands of pounds, I am freezing and I don't know what to do. The heating does not start, but even if it starts it goes up to 21 as some brains decided that this is what we need. I was lied to during my induction when I was told that I can override this, but it seems to not be working. The government is complicit as they allow these things. I cannot do anything else than report this to an MP in the hope that many people will follow and this scam will be over. We are paying a lot of money to be treated like animals. I want and I deserve a warm flat and not a cold place because Fairview and their buddies decided so.
Other issues? There is a thing on the ceiling that actually blows air inside the flat. Literally blows air. So, you are on the bed or the sofa and you have a cold breeze of air being pumped directly at you. It is to refresh the air according to the brainiacs of Fairview, as if we cannot decide when to air OUR flats. Also, water pressure and heat of the sink tap is low. The person that visited the flat a few weeks ago said it looked normal, yet if you compare it with the shower just next to it, it is a joke. Watkins Energy claimed that it is "some regulations" that mandate the heat of the bathroom tap to be less than the kitchen tap. I would love to read this weird regulation, if it indeed exists.
The management company sent a letter the other day. I have less than 10 days in the flat and they are asking for all annual service charge in advance when we were told that we will pay in two instalments. And not only this, but this obscure management company is asking for a raise to the charges EVEN BEFORE WE SET OUR FEET IN THE FLAT and EVEN THOUGH, AS THEY SAY, THEY CANNOT DELIVER ALL SERVICES. AND THE PLACE STINKS.
I will not go into details of the many issues with the flat - to be fair Fairview has been fixing most of the, many, defects. But, it shows a lot about the quality of construction.
I am alerting anyone reading this. Do NOT buy a flat from Fairview unless you want to face the same issues like we do. I saw it as a potential investment, but sitting with fever in a flat that will not go above 21 degrees (because the "scientists" of Fairview, Watkins, etc. decided so) and with radiators not working and air being pumped at you, is not ideal. Keep your money and buy a house of your own, do NOT fall into the same trap as us.
I am sad and angered, they do not provide even the minimum of the service and the value that we paid for here. Avoid at all costs.
Update: the limit of 21 maximum in the living room and 18 in the bedroom are the MINIMUM allowed in the UK. I repeat: the minimum allowed. So these people are selling expensive flats that only fulfil the minimum heating requirements of the government. And not only that, but they don't allow this to go any higher!!! Imagine that they don't offer a heater in the bathroom, just a towel dryer.
EDIT: They "investigated". They outright lie. I had to bring a plumber and he was laughing at these clowns. The air recycling thing is atrocious and the heating is a concern for everyone in the building. Their answers depict exactly what company they are.

Heating issues not resolved
Like others, we've experience heating issues due to a poor central system. Fairview and their heating partner Watkins will pretend to be on your side, but will inevitably never take responsibility. We have a 71-message back and forth email thread with their customer service to address the heating issues during the cold winter, we received a first bill of £170 and the system never functioned as expected. The customer service just passes the ball between different vendors and ultimately leads to nothing. "No further action" as they say. We provided very detailed evidence that was simply ignored, they even accused us of lying and never actually did any effort to resolve. We don't know if the system will work more effectively next winter, but I have very little faith in Fairview and Watkins to address it and fix it. They will do the bare minimum. This was on the Dock28 development. Beware.

Don't trust the sales team
Either Fairview New Homes is failing to keep its Sales staff informed about the latest site plans, or their sales staff are deliberately misleading prospective buyers.
I recently purchased a flat at Dock 28. The Sales brochure indicated a small communal area outside my property, so I asked their Sales agent for clarification. I was explicitly told that it would feature seating and plants—definitely not a children's play area. However, just two weeks later, I was shocked to find a large, unsightly children’s play frame installed less than five meters from my property boundary. This not only ruins any outside view but also brings unwanted noise and privacy concerns (I can see it from my bed and from the living room, so anyone playing on it can also see into the property). Had I been told the right information, I would have not agreed to purchase this flat.
When I raised the issue with the Sales team, their response was indifferent, claiming they were simply “following council plans.” This demonstrates a complete lack of transparency, care, and accountability.
My advice: Get everything in writing or record your viewings to protect yourself from misinformation.
I am now pursuing a complaint with the council in an attempt to have this poorly placed structure relocated.

Great customer service from William and Bass at the Silverton.
I recently purchased a 3 bedroom property at the Silverton, and dealt mainly with William Morrison, and also with Bass Boules. The whole experience of dealing with them both was really positive, with a great knowledge of the development and neighbouring area during the flat viewings. They really came in to their own during the purchase process when we made a offer as they were proactive with follow up calls/emails throughout the process, so much so that from putting an offer in to completion was little over 6 weeks. We dealt with William in particular, and he's a great communicator, enthusiastic and knowledgable, and would recommend either of them to other customers.

We bought a new built flat from dock28…
We bought a new built flat from dock28 recently, our radiators not working properly. We called numerous times and we had 3 different visit from watkins energy engineers. They came and did something 5 minutes and said they fixed it but it wasn't fixed at all. We are freezing in the flat + 21 degree limit is nonsense as we always want hotter flat as we paid half a million but we can't get it. No one seems to care, very bad costumer service. We regret that we bought this flat with my wife.

Good value development with amazing staff in New Barnet
I would say fairview really offers a good value of new build home in market, especially if they locate in a good area. And I am the first time buyer, Jury Cheng is amazing, very helpful and great in customer service, she explained everything in details, giving useful informations, suggestions and being very patient and take care of her clients, which I really appreciate her hard work and passion. Also, Monica is very friendly and interactive. I’m happy that their office would become our neighbours after the completion of sales.

Great Experience and Service from Tamana, but Personalization Options Lacking
As first-time buyers, we are currently purchasing a property in the Goodmayes One development, and our experience with Fairview has been very positive overall. Tamana, from the sales team, has been incredible, going above and beyond to assist us from the very beginning. She has consistently made herself available to answer our questions, and we've been visiting the flat every month since exchanging contracts. Tamana has been super helpful, giving us access whenever we needed to bring personal contractors or designers to the flat.
The only area where Fairview could improve is in offering more personalization options. Unlike some other developers, they don’t provide choices for things like carpet colors or wooden flooring, which can lead to additional costs that differ from initial calculations. Despite this, we are very happy with the support we’ve received, especially from Tamana, whose dedication has made this journey much smoother.

We are in the process of buying our new flat at One Goodmayes. The sales team, especially Tamana is extremely helpful. She explained us everything about the process, patiently answered all our questions and helped to negotiate and get the best deal. Of course I will recommend using their services.

William Morrison - Sales Negotiator- Great customer service!
William Morrison - Sales Negotiator at The Silverton, North Woolwich Road, Royal Docks - gave me (Tanisha) and my family a very good experience of the Fairview homes viewing, overviews of the development, bookings and pricing processes. Good initial and follow up calls/emails. The whole experience of seeing and understanding the development with William was amazing, but the only drawback of this development is that it doesn’t have parking like under the flats on-site! William gave us alternative parking ideas and prices to resolve our issue but still parking on-site is our key preference and won’t have anything less than that. That’s the only reason why we are not considering this property anymore otherwise everything else, William’s service and flats location etc is really good. I’ve told William to be in touch with me for any other future Fairview developments that includes parking within it. William is a clear communicator, confident, enthusiastic! William made us feel comfortable throughout the viewing process and is full of knowledge about this development and property market! Yet more lies and deceit from Fairview...
Wow.
Previously the community had to campaign to stop Fairview breaking all ecological laws, council guidelines and due diligence by continuously pounding sheets into the riverbank for 8 hours, at noise levels far above legal threshold. That was approximately two months ago.
Now they have sent out a letter in which they ask for the community's permission to pound 4 hours a day continuously, 5 days a week, to speed up the development for the "residents" (pretty sure they mean the "investors"), as otherwise it will be 54 days of short bursts.
The letter is highly manipulative in a number of ways; they describe 4 hours continuous pounding per day, 5 days a week as more "relaxing" than 30-60 seconds 8-10 times a day, because they would be "relaxing compliance" (they actually use the term twice in conveying the chaos they want to unleash... so dishonest and tricky).
They are essentially threatening us, by forcing us to choose the lesser between two evils, although the one they frame as "relaxing", and is certainly their preference by way of daily cost of operation, is far, far worse.
The fact they are even asking this question shows a total ignorance as to the severe trauma they inflicted on the community previously when they tried to do it for 8 hours continuously in a single day, and for which a breach notice was issued by the council. The following change in their schedule, and this letter to boot, are admissions they broke the law previously.
These constructors are the absolute worst nightmare for any community. Making noise far above legal threshold (we have meters to measure, 98dB, indoors with windows closed is not legal!!), kitchen cabinets falling off the walls, making people and their pets physically ill (in the medical sense not hyperbole), mysterious power cuts, mysterious water issues... the list goes on and on, all documented with hard evidence. Birdnests have literally fallen out of trees and it has taken 2 months of relative peace for wildlife to begin to return, after all the birds and ducks and swans around the river fled in terror. The community is gearing up for a class action lawsuit if they try to do the 4 hours continuous sheet piling per a day. Really sickening they even should ask but helpful evidence of previous crimes if they insist on being taken to court.
