Awesome Trustworthy, English Speaking Guide and driver!
This is a very professional travel company! I definitely recommend it. My cousins and I (we are all in our 20’s) were traveling abroad for the first time together and I was a little nervous about safety. Andrés was very helpful, professional and friendly! He arranged all our transportation in Monteverde/Santa Elena and also helped us take a zip line tour. He studied in the US for some time, so he speaks excellent and English and there was no communication barrier at all. He’s a local to the area and knows it well. My favorite part of the trip was spending time on his Aunt & Uncle’s organic coffee farm La Bella Tica and also climbing the “Strangled Fig Tree.” Andrés is a great trustworthy person to know and I highly recommend anyone wanting to travel in the area to reach out to him! Andres is the best!
I was in Monteverde for a week and Andres was so helpful and I felt so comfortable around him! He was always on time to pick us up and was so accommodating. He recommended great tourist attractions for zip lining and dinner! He also spoke great English and told wonderful stories about Costa Rica!

Andrés is a great your guide and speaks excellent English in addition to Spanish. Additionally, all his recommendations about tourist attractions and restaurants were spot on. Would recommend!
I was volunteering in Monteverde on a farm and it was a remote place so we really needed a reliable transportation agency. This company helped me and my other volunteer friends so much especially because as students we made last minute plans, we’re on a tight budget and often changed our plans. However Andres (from the company) was very accommodating and gave us great prices and helped organise our last minute plans. He was also very accessible by phone even on holidays like Christmas and New Year’s Day. He also suggested lots of options and alternative solutions for our travel plans.

I was in Monteverde as a volunteer and Andres helped us every step of the way on any trip we wanted to go. He always offered us very good prices. The shuttles were very comfortable and the drivers are bilingual. Would definitely recommend !!!

I visited Monteverde as part of a volunteer trip and Faro Travel was 100% my go to for everything I needed. They arranged tours and even a ride back to San Jose to catch my flight. Excellent service, excellent communications and just really really nice people!!

Whilst my stay at a local cafe farm…
Whilst my stay at a local cafe farm slightly outside of Santa Elena I was reliant on transport, to either get to the town or to other place. In that aspect Andres was very helpful, as he not only provided the transport but also organized our tours. Himself and the taxi driver were always very kind and helpful to us. He’s the plug!

I stayed at a coffee farm a little bit outside of Santa Elena and needed many taxis. They took care of everything. The process of being able to text or call whenever is amazing. This company made my trip more enjoyable. They were also very helpful giving us information about the area and helping us arrange tours. You should use them for any of your travel needs while here - taxis, tickets, etc!

Andres from Faro Travel is fantastic!
Andres from Faro Travel is fantastic!! He is super knowledgeable about the Monteverde area and gave us many excellent suggestions for excursions, including Extremo ziplines, Selvatura park where we walked through the cloud forest on the hanging bridges and saw the butterfly and hummingbird gardens.
Andres is fluent in English and has a great sense of humor. He doesn't put any pressure on you to book with him but you should-- his prices are very fair and he is an honest man. If you plan to come to Monteverde, definitely contact Faro and Andres!

I have no comment about Andres’ help for transportation. In addition of bringing us everywhere and on time, he also advised us on places to go and activities to do! And he even got us good discounts... Andres is very reliable and wants you to enjoy your stay fully without worrying about transportation as public transports aren’t really a thing in Monteverde. One last thing, you’ll never get bored during the ride as he’s always in a good mood and sometimes makes great jokes ;)

Efficient transport service!
I have to confess that the transport service provided by Andres and his company was simply perfect.
The staff speak several lenguages and communication is clear and transparent. Available and ready to answer also by Facebook and WhatsApp. The transport was excellent in all the details, on time and comfortable!
Furthermore, Andres and his family are friendly and willing to provide any explanation about Costa Rica! It is a pleasure supporting local entrepreneurs!!
