I had looked for a. long time to find a canon DSLR and eventually decided on a Canon 80d from Ffordes. It was a very good decision as the camera was reasonably priced and arrived very quickly and in a perfect condition. Value and quality were present.
So good was the condition that there was not a single blemish and it functioned perfectly . Communication with the seller was extremely good and accurate . I commend this service as a happy customer and will not only recommend it to others but will certainly look again for more opportunities . Thank you .

I recently bought a used Leica camera and Voigtlander lens. The prices were very fair and the equipment arrived in excellent condition. I cannot praise too highly the help I got from their staff member Alister, who is a real star.

I was offered better trade-in terms on my old lens (with different selling options) and a more competitive price on the replacement i was after. Product arrived well packed and as described.
I would recommend dealing with them. I dealt with them remotely but look forward to visiting one day.

Have just taken delivery of a superb Canon 135mm f2.8 lens. It came wrapped in swathes of bubble-wrap and was thus extremely well protected. When unwrapped I found there was not a mark on it - absolutely in pristine condition. I have to say that the entire purchasing process was without any glitches (something I feel is an imperative when buying on-line). Finally, it is vital to note the highly professional manner in which Ffordes staff interact with their customers - top quality each and every time. You can't beat this combination!!!

I hadn't heard of this company but the price was good, the reviews here are good and Companies House showed records. So I bought a Sigma 35mm f2 DG DN from them.
There was a hiccup in the delivery but things go wrong - it's how the problem is handled that counts. The people at Ffordes did so impeccably and all was good in the end. Their communication was excellent.
They will be the first point of call if and when I need more camera gear.

Fantastic company to deal with, I ordered a lens from them as their pricing was much lower than most. I needed to contact them regarding delivery just for clarification as to when it was coming as I knew I had potentially just missed the cut off time for next day and needed to sure I was in when it was due. Response was almost immediate, was courteous and friendly and gave me the info I needed. Lens arrived and was better than expected tbh! These guys will now be my go to shop in future for sure, and yes i've done comparison prices with these vs a well known big used photography shop and they were cheaper in almost all the comparisons.

Having both bought and sold equipment from Ffordes in the past, I contacted them regarding the possible sale of my Olympus Pen F camera.
I was given various options to sell it and opted for a commission sale.
I'm happy to say that the sale went through very smoothly and I achieved at leat £150 more than quotes from other companies.

What an incredible photography workshop from start to finish at Reraig forest. The knowledge, guidance and hands-on experience provided throughout the day was outstanding, and the passion behind it all really showed.
Getting the chance to experience riding in an Argocat for the first time was definitely a highlight and added something really unique to the whole adventure. It was such a well organised, welcoming and inspiring experience, and I came away having learned so much.

Brilliant service! I bought a used camera as a present. It worked perfectly when it arrived, but by the time I gave it as a gift a month later, the battery had died from sitting in the box. I emailed them, and although batteries aren't usually covered, they were super helpful and sent me a spare one in the post. Great company that genuinely looks after you!

I sold a range of equipment through Ffordes on commission. The collect courier service was excellent, the condition assessment and valuation was very fair and administration and payment excellent. Top marks guys.

Had never heard of them prior to searching for a 2nd hand Sony 135mm f1.8 which they had. Very fair price with a description that was wholly accurate and actually under sold how great the condition was. Lens arrived when they said it would and was extremely well packaged. It was also in outstanding condition - could have passed for new. All in, fantastic experience and glad I’m aware of them - I’ll be purchasing again without hesitation.
