Have Received Refund!!
I ordered a smart watch from Flash Discount last night. Nothing else!! Today there are two amounts pending on my credit card account!! £20.48 for watch and £11.06 for God knows what!! The item is not what they are showing…
The item is not what they are showing in the advert. I bought 2 solar lanterns thar appear a decent size when laid out on the grass by a man in the advert. The product that arrived is nothing like it, tiny by comparison. No clear glass and the lantern itself measures 13.5cm and with the rope handle fully stretched it measures 26cm overall. It weighs 182grams not 500 as stated and is just cheap plastic. It says buy 2 for free shipping but shipping was added. Also charged another £8.10 a day later.

Buy once, pay for ever!
I made one purchase from these people, but it took me a while to notice that they have taken 7 payments (yes, seven!!) from my account. They are all for different amounts, I guess to disguise them so you don't notice. I have been getting shipping progress reports which make no sense and do not say what the 'shipped' items are - I am sure this is a classic sign of a fraud.
I advise you not to buy from these people, because once they have your card details they will take regulsr payments with no exlaination.
PS Follow-up: see their response below, in which say 'I am not happy with my purchase' which clearly shows that they didn't read my complaint, which is about payment without purchases. I replied to them (also replied to Trustpilot who asked me to confirm my contact details). As you see, they promised to resond within 24 hours. However, 4 days later, they still have not replied and I will bet that they never will - cos they have got away with it. Strangely though, they have stopped sending me shipping reports for these non-existant orders.
UPDATE: two weeks on and having complied with their request for an email - guess what, they have debited my account again!!!! (£8.99). These guys are robbing me blind and the Bank just raise 'disputes' and close the case. Any ideas of how I can stop this?
