The Coral Softener I bought from Fountain Softeners 10 years ago was getting a little tired so a new one was overdue. The Coral Eco 10 was a great recommendation and the service received from the team at Fountain has been fabulous. The unit was delivered quickly and was straightfoward to install. A couple of calls were needed during and after installation as I found the manual a little unclear in places, but this was sorted quickly and we were up and running in just over two hours as pipework was already in place. The Eco's resin is more refined resulting in a noticeable improvement in pressure and flow. This, together with what should be longer periods between recharges made the Eco worth the slightly higher cost. Time will tell. All working very nicely indeed so far and, as always, the service from Fountain is superb. Great purchase and highly recommended.

We have done business with Fountain Softeners twice, the last one in April 2025, and it has been very straightforward. They have been so helpful in every way throughout the entire process and have been in touch to quickly arrange a change of delivery to suit our circumstances. Nothing is a problem.

I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed. Broken cardboard boxes. All the Harvey’s salt block packets were torn, the blocks broken with the salt spilling out. Do not buy from this company!
I have now received an offer of full refund and I will keep the forum posted.
The refund has now been made and I am satisfied that the company is taking responsibility for the delivery of purchased items and that the issue was with the delivery company being unprofessional and reckless; and based on these, I am happy to change the rating for Fountain Softeners to 4 stars.

Really great company to work with. I had a 19 year old machine which was well passed its sell by date which developed a fault. Because I had a short term cash flow problem for a replacement they tried so hard to help me, with numerous phone calls, to get it going again short of a call out which would not have been cost effective. Ultimately i failed to get it going so I ordered a new one which arrived within 48 hours and was up and running 2 hrs later. Rare to find such a really helpful company these days. Thank you.

On enquiring via their help email address I quickly received a reply giving me the url.
There is very little instructions as to it use.

Excellent Softener working perfectly and so nice not having to worry about electronics going wrong.All extremely helpful with any phone questions or queries.

Great service and advice prior to choosing the best unit ( as they offer a wide choice and makes) to replace an older one at end of its life. Choices given and also offered deal. Softener arrived on time and installation took less than an hour as plumbing was already there. Started working immediately.

The piping kit ordered was a great improvement on the existing unit which was installed in 2007! Worth the money.

4 weeks on, the unit is performing well and providing all the softened water for our needs.

Delivery took to long and not enough updates on the delivery process

I originally purchased a Crown Block Salt Water Softener and installation kit from Fountain Water Softeners following their advice on type and fitting options . I have been really pleased with the unit which has given reliable service for many years even though we have a very hard water supply.
Following some recent problems with the softener performance and water pressure I was told a technical advisor would phone back. As promised they phoned back within 30 minutes to discuss possible softener repair or unit replacement options. Fountain Water Softeners had a full record of my previous purchase over 10 years ago. I opted for a replacement softener unit , and they confirmed no dimension or fitting changes, but some technical changes about the unit. They provided new hose seals to fit the new unit. This all arrived next day with an easy to follow installation guide.

It’s bad experience because all the blocks was broken which you have sent me(salt blocks) .
You don’t pack many blocks in one package in future because they are too heavy so they will put hardly while they handle those who deliver.

Great water softner, works very well, twin tank, manual system. Great price for a twin tank also. Only thing is, it takes 2 blocks every 2 weeks thus, requires regular salt block purchases/top ups. Otherwise all good.

My order was for a replacement inline filter. Website easy to navigate to find the item I wanted. Good price & quick delivery.
