It was easy to order and the delivery was quite quick, why I have given two stars is because on opening one bag of salt we discovered it was broken in half. We have left the opening of the other bags until we need them. This is just to make you aware.

I bought some stainless steel hoses and drain fitment for my new softener. Prices on this site very fair and product was delivered within 3 days. Product is good quality and now fitted. No cause to give anything but 5 stars.

The company was quick to help me decide which filter to buy. They sent me a video of how to extract the filter from the housing which was helpful as I am not a plumber but a capable DIY er. Plus it was delivered within a couple of days. Great service

Quick delivery and great price on the water softener ! It even came with some salt so that I could use the softener straight away couldn’t recommend fountain softeners enough perfect from start to finish !!

Proven return of an unused item on 9th Dec. I've rang them 5 times in past two months. Every time it's 'ill get account to ring you back' who doesn't. OR John the account says 'i don't know why you don't know what gone wrong, you should get it in next day or two'. I'm writing this review on Jan 31st with no refund. Section 75 from bank is my only hope. This place is a scam and the very reason why people buy from Amazon.

Update. Email from fountains today at last stating they can't give me a refund because my bank forced a chargeback on my request. So basically admitting they hadn't refunded me in almost three months and my bank forced them to. Their emailing trying to frame it like this isn't their fault.
Fyi. James is the account, not Jon. Very different names... clearly.

We inherited a water softener when we bought our house. It had been purchased from Fountain Softeners around 8 years earlier. When we had a fault I called them up for advice and James was brilliant. So I can vouch for their aftersales service! We ended up buying a replacement from James as ours was end of life and not worth fixing. A good price and excellent customer service. Thoroughly recommended.

When I replaced my entire kitchen in 2010 I fitted a monobloc tap to the sink, which controlled hot and cold water, and also supplied filtered water from a cartridge in the cupboard underneath. The parts all came from Fountain Softeners and I was very pleased with them and the appearance. I purchased replacement cartridges from them during the following years. The tap started leaking last year so I decided that it was time to retire it, and ordered a replacement from FS. James contacted me to say that there would be a delay as they were waiting for a delivery of these taps. That did not surprise me as so many items sold in this country are sourced from abroad. Then customs held them back until import duty was paid. James offered me an alternative which was more expensive and in stock at no extra charge. But it had a swan neck and I wanted the more compact item. The existing item was still useable, so I was prepared to wait. James kept me advised of progress by email. The tap arrived last week and I was very pleased with the product - a solid piece of engineering, well chromed, with all the fittings necessary to install it. It was a happy start to the new year.

One of the blocks arrived with packaging slit down the side and the actual blocks broken. Obviously usable but they are expensive so not impressed. Won’t order from here again.

I bought a tap from them approximately 3 years ago, it has a 5 year guarantee on it. It has failed and now leaks constantly and sometimes the spout disengages and water spurts everywhere. I have contacted Fountain Softeners endlessly and for over 6 months now. They appear to deny all responsibility and keep blaming their supplier, Coriandoli. They have promised a new part before Christmas but of course it has not arrived! I have tried to be pleasant throughout this process but after speaking to James (who has no customer service skills whatsoever) I am feeling it is time to resort to Watchdog etc. Very very disappointing. My advice, do not buy from this company.

Very efficient. Arrived within promised timescale, easy to install and is working well. Couldn’t ask for more. David
