You get what you expect
I had a previous good experience buying at Gamboa. Recently I have ordered a tokilla hat. I wasn't certain what will I really get because the photo cannot give you a clear idea of the product. I have first received a wrong size. After notifying it to Gamboa they swiftly sent me the right size and the product really looks marvellous.

Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, Lieferzeitangabe verwirrend
Grundsätzlich bin ich mit allem sehr zufrieden. Einen Stern Abzug, weil auf der Email-Bestellbestätigung stand "Versand DHL (3-5 Tage)". Es dauerte dann total 3 Wochen, wobei mir auf meine E-Mail Anfrage plausibel erklärt wurde (Danke Gabriela), dass die Hüte von Hand hergestellt werden, was bis zu 20 Tage dauern kann.
Das ist ja o.k., denn die Hüte kommen direkt aus Quito in Ecuador, sind also Original Panama Hüte.
Aber es wäre vielleicht fair, die richtige Lieferzeit bei der E-Mail Bestätigung zu nennen.

Caught by rising prices
I love their hats. Sadly they shipped one in a damaged Gamboa box, with a hat that was crunched. The outer box had no damage, so it was damaged when they shipped it. They were good about refunding me the money, but in the 6 days since I ordered, the hat went from $69 to $109. I think I should have gotten the hat I ordered at the price I had paid.

Damen Alpaka in sehr guter Qualität, Paket doch noch gefunden
Alpaka ist weichem, flauschigem Garn mit geringem Gewicht angenehm zu tragen. Größe entspricht der Beschreibung im europäischen Maßstab, Farben fotogetreu.
Innerhalb 5 Tagen eingetroffen. Leider TrackInfo
erst spät und unvollständig erhalten, daher das Paket nach 2 Tagen beim Nachbarn entdeckt.

I paid for Panama Borsalino hat and thay sand me roll up Panama hat instead. I sand hat back and I sand my old Borsalino which I bought from them, bat they didn't want to do exchange. They ignored my email and they keep my hat and my money.
