Gamboa makes great sweaters
I wear a women's large, which seems to correspond to a men's medium. I have several alpaca sweaters from Gamboa, and they are all among my favorites for cold winter weather.

Christmas present
I received a zip up sweater as a Christmas gift. The first time I tried it on the zipper tore away. I filled out the exchange upload the company provides. I emailed the company. I phoned them twice. I got no response. I would not buy from this company under any circumstance. They have no integrity whatsoever. The reviews I left on the company website didn’t show up there. They only display the five and four star reviews. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
After interacting with this company after I left a bad review here and they replied, I stand by this review. They don’t put up the reviews left on their website that are less than four. They don’t put out a good product. There are many great alpaca products from other companies. I would not purchase from this company again, especially for a gift.
The company ended up giving my husband a refund for this sweater. I still would not buy from them again, especially for a gift as their exchange policy is very limited.

Engaño pedido urgente
El 28 de diciembre compré un artículo y pagué envío urgente (de tres a cinco días laborables) con idea de tenerlo el día de Reyes , iba justa de tiempo pero pagando el pedido urgente ( más caro) me aseguraba , mi decepción ha sido que ha llegado el 10 de enero y ni siquiera se han disculpado devolviendo el importe de más en el pedido urgente .

Ich habe Alpaka Pullovers bestellt . Die Ware sind minderwertig und aus Polyester - KEINE SPUR von Alpaca! Ganz billige Qualität.
AUF KEINEN FALL DORT BESTELLEN!!
Kein Widerrufsrecht und Ware aus Deutschland nach Florida auf eigenen Kosten zurückgeschickt werden sollen, obwohl Händler, die Rücksendung aus EU nach USA Verpflichtung (obwohl die Ware aus Deutschland verschickt wird) in den Widerrufs Bedingungen nicht festgelegt. Auch PayPals Käuferschutz hier existiert eigentlich nicht.

I can't say anything about quality because I just can't order it. There was problems with shipping in my country but I've found carrier who could pick up shipment but gamboa managers just ignore my e-mails. Why should a customer order in your shop if you reply more than shipment? It's inadmissible.
The other point is cupon when you enter your e-mail for future spam, it just wasn't send on my mail.

I placed an order and three days past without any notification that my order had been shipped. I contacted Gamboa customer service via an e-mail link on their website and received a prompt reply early the following morning from Gabriela Vargas with explicit order status details. This was my second order from Gamboa and not my last; their products and service are exceptional.

Hors hair hat band
Was looking for a hat band made with horse hair to replace a lost one.
Gamboa offered decent prices.
Shipping went very well (DHL from Ecuador).
Final product fits perfectly on my hat and seems to be great quality.
Final rendering is not exactly the same as advertised but it’s handmade so I was expecting that. It is still close to what I was looking for. Would have appreciated more examples to show variability, but not a big deal. Definitely love it.

Betrug!!! Achtung!!
Ich habe einen Alpaka-Poncho und einen Alpaka-Pullover bestellt und 20 Euro Steuern gezahlt, da die Ware angeblich aus den USA kommt. Am nächsten Tag (!!) war die Ware bereits da, somit habe ich Steuern gezahlt obwohl aus Deutschland verschickt wird.
Zudem ist die Ware minderwertig und aus Polyester! Ganz billige Qualität. Auf Nachfrage wird angegeben, dass nirgendwo stehe, dass es sich um 100 Prozent Alpakawolle handele. Bei der Produktbeschreibung auf der Website ist jedoch bei Material ausschließlich Alpkawolle ausgewiesen. Das Unternehmen hat dann auf erneute Anfrage angegeben:
„Diese Produkte werden nicht als aus 100 % Alpakawolle hergestellt beworben. Unsere Richtlinien sind auf unserer Website klar dargelegt und können von jedem gelesen werden, bevor er eine Bestellung aufgibt. Wir können für Sie keine Ausnahmen machen.“
Die Richtlinien konnte ich jedoch nirgendwo auf der Website finden und es handelt sich um absichtliche Täuschung, da bei den Produkten lediglich „Alpakawolle“ als Material steht.
AUF KEINEN FALL DORT BESTELLEN!!
Es wurde ein Umtausch in andere Ware angeboten, nein danke, ich brauche auch keine andere minderwertige Polyester-Ware!!

Meglio così.
Sì, è vero, ci sono le spese doganali, ma sono ben specificate nella voce di riepilogo dell'ordine prima di pagare. Errore mio non aver controllato su Amazon, perché c'era lo stesso prodotto venduto da loro senza spese doganali!
Comunque tutto sommato una buona esperienza.

Wrong color hat sent to customer

Missing purchase, no delivery date, no response
01 September placed an order for a Regimental style hat band from Gamboa. Delivery time was 3-5days via DHL. 06 September sent email requesting update for delivery - nothing heard back. 10 September sent another email requesting an update of the delivery date. Order number #13915. I have Lodged complaints with Gamboa, Shop App and my Bank.
Update: 11 Sept, action stations! Seems the product is now packed and on it’s way today. I’ll give them another 3-5days for delivery (ETA 16Sept)
Update: 16 Sept, end of day and still no item delivered. Promise to send item on the 11th has not happened.
Update: 17 Sept item lodged with DHL in Quito Ecuador, now has an expected delivery date 26 Sept.

The hat is excellent, a tight weave. It was slightly too large, but Gamboa included sizers and QR code to a video on how to install properly. One sizer did the trick! Another QR code got you a bonus free hatband!

Vorsicht hohe Zollgebühren
Ich habe am 09.08.2024 zwei Hutbänder im Wert von € 13,98 bestellt, zugüglich Versand und Steuer waren es bereits € 23,33, nach zwei Wochen hatte ich noch nichts gehört und aber der Betrag war schon abgebucht. Am 22.08 meldete sich dann DHL die Zollabwicklung und wollte nochmal € 28,42 damit die Ware ausgeliefert werden konnte. Zwischendurch erhielt ich dann von DHL einige Email die einen anderen Kunde betraf, da Gamboa meine Email zu einen anderen Kunden in England zugeordnet hatte. Am 02.09 erhielt ich dann die zwei Hutbänder, die mich jetzt €51,75 gekostet haben. Die Hutbänder sind einfache Stoffbänder und nicht wie beschrieben elastisch. Dadurch entsprechen nicht der stimmt die Passform nicht. Preis Leistung eine Unverschämtheit.
