Just had new doors and windows fitted. Right from the first survey to the last door fitted it has been a smooth process. All the staff involved were courteous and professional providing quality products and workmanship.Would definitly recommend.

We recently replaced our back door using GAP Home Improvements. I was keen to have a Solidor having installed one at a previous property. The service we received was excellent from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with at this company was friendly, helpful and professional. I was very impressed; I would definitely use GAP again.

A very happy customer, we replaced 6 windows, the whole team from the ordering process to install was brilliant. The fitters Hugh & Stuart were very professional - a job well done - would highly recommend.

My wife and I have recently decided to 'stay put' and retire where we now live thus we decided that we needed to replace a pre-existing conservatory roof, for a orangery/flat roof and change all the existing conservatory windows to the latest specifications as we wished to use it as a garden room for both Winter and Summer. We contacted GAP and Jon duly arrived to discuss our options and gave us advice and guidance as what would be best for our requirements.
Now I will state that GAP were not the cheapest option, but with the reassurance shown by Jon the quality of the product used and the workmanship and standards displayed throughout our initial project, I can assure you, you get what you pay for and I am pleased that we went with GAP Home Improvements, having dealt with less honourable companies in the past. The quality of materials and workmanship on our building is excellent and has enhanced our house and the use we shall put it to tremendously.
Whilst GAP were working on our initial project our en-suite window mechanism broke. We asked Jon to come visit and give us a quote for a quick replacement and also to discuss a further project which was to replace our house doors with two composite doors and a further replacement window.
Again we have been delighted with the service, quality of materials and workmanship and efforts of all the staff throughout.
Just a quick tip ............... If you do have GAP to carry work out for you, please afford their workforce the decency of allowing them access to your house and keeping them furnished with Tea / Coffee in the Hot/Cold conditions, I know the workmen appreciated it and it must help them to deliver the quality service requested.

GAP Home Improvements recently changed 9 windows and 2 doors (one front, the other were patio) for us and have done an absolutely sterling job.
Alex and the team were extremely helpful and patient (with my several hundred questions) whilst we were planning/reviewing options and the 2 chaps who did the install were friendly, tidy, efficient and (whilst working through Baltic conditions) have done a top, top job.
The products themselves feel very strong and well-made, and have made a huge different to the noise and temperature in the house - particularly the front door.
Having never purchased windows/doors before, we felt a bit out of our depth, but I can honestly say the entire experience was a pleasure and we’re super happy with final product.
5 stars from us. Can thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic company to take your custom, very friendly whilst putting you at ease and projecting confidence. Good to their word on installation with few communication issues.
Flip side,any problems you experience with ' faulty goods / workmanship' then good luck!
Simply put, ask about their 'customer service department' - any reply other than it's myself or my wife then their being ' economic with the truth'. There is no service department!!
We gave up we this company when issues arose and went elsewhere for a profession ' service department' without a new telephone installation problem and had fixed!!

Had six windows replaced, kitchen door removed and bricked up, new Solidoor on the front and the porch re-clad and roof recovered.

The teams did an excellent job, we were kept well informed about changes due to the beast from the east having an impact.

All the installers were very friendly and know their stuff, they take pride in their work and no mess was left.

And a lot cheaper than the national companies!!!

Outstanding and we will use again, highly recommended.

Very impressed with GAP who recently fitted a series of french doors and fixed panes on an extension to our house. The service was excellent throughout: patient and knowledgable sales, hard working, friendly and very tidy installation team. GAP also went the extra mile: dismantled and took away an old greenhouse that was in the way. We're very pleased with the result in terms of quality, appearance and security. We would use GAP again and have already recommended to a neighbour.

We replaced a 15+ year old front door plus 2 windows with a Solidor and new windows through GAP. We really liked the Solidor product over the foam doors we had seen and the window unit was very impressive (especially as we had been quoted a like-for-like window by Everest for 4 times the price!). Not to mention it wasn't a hard sell and the salesman was not here for hours "calling the boss". GAP fitted within one day, on time and promptly. Stuart was excellent and very tidy. The door looks great and the windows have made the porch so much warmer.

Fantastic product, very friendly people, who cannot offer enough advise and time. Nothing is a problem for them, and are happy to revise quotes to ensure the customer is 100% happy. The products themselves are beautiful, and the lock systems have been explained, and look great. Alex Watts is fantastic.

We are always advised as consumers to get three quotes for work which is what we did. GAP was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive but they did stand out amongst the others for the initial visit from their sales consultant and their pre-sales advice. There was no pressure from GAP to make a quick decision and Alex’s patience with our questions and queries was limitless. We felt confident in accepting GAP’s quote together with an approximate date for the work to be commenced. The work came with an insurance backed guarantee.
The work started and was well underway when Tony and Jamie discovered that there were eggs in the house martins nest attached to the gable end so the job had to be put on hold for a few weeks. GAP returned to finish the job and we are satisfied with the end result.
After payment we received a conditional, ten year, non-transferable guarantee for the work.
Based on our experience we would recommend GAP for your Roofline work.
