Anne was the most kind and patient customer service representative I’ve had over the past two weeks of dealing with several reps in 4-5 different companies. It’s been confusing, overwhelming, and stressful juggling the different to-do items from various companies. Ann was patient, didn’t rush me, and was so kind to guide me in uploading my drivers license into my application online. I was so relieved to have such kindness in this time of stress. It really meant a lot to me.

Definitely needs a 0 start option. This review is in reference to the merchant side. PowerPay will reverse transactions on you without notice and without ever communicating with you about the alleged customer complaint or issue. They will simply take the word of the customer and take the money back out of your account. Some might call this theft. They hide behind their disclosures and refuse to even have a civil conversation. Run, do not walk as far as you can from this company. My company has been working with other 3rd party financing companies for over 10 years and PowerPay is by far the absolute worse without question. No other company even comes close to how unscrupulously, unprofessionally and unethically this company operates.

If I could give a 0 it would be too much. I call the company many many time. They never fix the problem . They sent the contractor a 1000 dollar more it took a year almost for them to get it back. I pay interest on the 1000 they never adjusted it. Oh yes if you make extra payments on the loan to put on the principal they take interest out of it. Watch this company is bad

I had originally signed a contract for a loan at 8.99 on 6/15/22, on 12/15/22 I was contacted by Powerpay because an additional loan was received for $50k. They asked was this additional work. I told them “no”. They told me to contact the contractor and have the newest loan canceled because I already have my 06/15 loan. I contracted the Contractor and they were doing that. On 12/22/22 the contractor contacted me and told me that power pay had canceled the original. I came in and talked with the contractor. He called powerpay while I was there and on speaker to try to get the issue straighten out, they then placed his call through to his Rep and it went to voicemail. He stated he had 3 other customers that were going through the same thing of the contract being canceled and new contracts with higher interest rates. I ended up signing a new contract with pp because the contractors work was completed and passed inspection. I personally contacted power pay on 12/22/22 and was told the loan representative would be contacting the contractor about the issue. In my original contract it states, If project is not completed within 6 months I would be required to start making payments.
All I have asked Pp to do is honor the original contract at the original interest rate. Their answer is “nothing we can do the contracts expire after 6 months, you shouldn’t have signed the contract”.
If I had known then I was dealing with a company that seems to do this routinely, as I have found out by the reviews on this site and others. I would had taken my business to my Credit Union and paid their home loan improvement doc fees.

Kristel made my experience worth 5 stars. she is pleasant to work with and has great compassion. We are not in a desperate situation, we have made our payment. The funds have come out of our account 3+ weeks ago, but PowerPay has not received the funds as of today. I made another payment with Kristel over the phone and have a call into my bank to investigate what happened.

I signed up for a loan with power pay. No payments no interest for 2 years, then interest starts at 6.49 percent. Three months after signing the loan and it being fully funded the project had not started due to a disagreement with Powerpay and the contractor. Powerpay was refusing to pay the contractor based on their contracted terms. Powerpay then cancelled my loan stating that i had not started and would default on their timeline. I had an attorney review our contract and their is no timeline given in the contract. I called powerpay for over three weeks at least 10 times which they documented and noted that no one returned phone calls or text. They canceled a legally binding agreement and when questioned on why they did so without consent they offered to re instate my loan. Unbeknownst to me they created a second loan with unique identifier that the contractor forwarded to me in an email directly from power pay where they opened up a second loan in my name at 12.99 interest rate. After three weeks of no response i had an attorney call simply asking for info. They told us they could not talk to us and we had to talk to their leg team, yet they refused to give us their legal teams info and hung up the phone. Apparently the sales rep Becca is in charge and refuses to speak to me. Margarita tried to help but also informed me that Amberly and the other reps were ignoring my phone calls. Their license as a financial lender should be revoked for unfit and illegal practices.

I'm not one to leave reviews but felt compelled to write one based on my experience with Customer Service Representative Mary Jane Dy. She is absolutely wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable. She's not your typical CS Agent, she goes above and beyond to "understand"your situation and find a resolution that works. She's a gem and it was an absolute pleasure speaking with her. A home improvement loan thru a 3rd party(powerpay). Almost 2 years in and the project still isn’t complete. The original loan contract had terms that I would be obligated to start payment 180 days after signing regardless of the being completed. I made several payments and then secured a loan modification. The modification terms were I would not be obligated to start payments until more than one dispersal of funds (which I made sure I didn’t authorize) was made or I signed a notice of completion. The terms of the of the modification haven’t been met but the 3rd party is trying to force me into starting to make payments. I’m in the process of trying to contact an attorney. You can’t get in touch with any supervisor or manager. The people I’m speaking with aren’t even able to pull up the contract( loan modification ) I’m referring to. Then when I get frustrated and won’t get off the phone they hang up on you. Horrible company, horrible customer service!

Input of information required, had to be performed and sent several times in order to complete. Signing of contract prompted back to begining more ha 3 times. Information was correct & verified each time entered.

I was in the process of obtaining financing for the purchase of a new roof when I was contacted by Ann Arcilla concerning a freeze on my credit reports. She was very helpful and guided me through the process of getting the freeze removed. Upon completion of removing the freeze I then contacted Ann Arcilla to inform her that the freeze had been removed. The was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable with the finance process and informed me that the package would be forwarded to the underwriters now.
