Hi Alison,
I've had a look into this and it appears you placed an order and then emailed shortly afterwards asking to change the item ordered.
Unfortunately, by the time we picked up your email later that day, the order had already been dispatched by our (very efficient!) fulfilment warehouse, so we were unable to intercept it. At this time of year they often turn orders round in a couple of hours.
Tom replied explaining this and how to return the item for a full refund. As a small independent husband-and-wife business, we're always happy to help where we can, but we can't guarantee immediate responses to order amendment requests before dispatch. We do, however, respond very quickly to customer enquiries and in this case replied later the same day.
You also mention that we don't have a direct phone line. That's correct, we're not always available to take calls so we handle customer service by email and contact form, which allows us to keep track of requests and ensure every customer receives a response.
You chose to donate the t-shirt to a charity raffle rather than return it for a refund which was very generous of you.
We'd still love to help though, so if you'd like to order the t-shirt you originally wanted to change to, we'd be delighted to offer you a 40% discount. Tom will send you an email separately with the details.
While we're sorry we couldn't change your order before it was dispatched, we believe we provided prompt, helpful customer service and a fair solution.
