I would give zero stars if I could. These shoes are not leather — I’m not even sure what material they’re made of, but the quality is extremely poor. Do not waste your money.

I was initially impressed by the website and positive reviews, so I decided to give them a try. I wear a size 11.5 and am tall, so I thought it would be great to order shoes that could be customized. I ended up purchasing nine pairs, spending $2,613.90, and every single pair was disappointing in quality.

When I tried to return them, this was the response I received:

I tried reselling them to my sister who lives in Africa for $50, and she said, “, No, I know what real leather looks like — this is definitely not leather. They look terrible. I can tell these weren’t made in Italy; they’re clearly made somewhere in China. It’s a total scam. I should’ve known something was off when I realized no one had heard of this store — if it were legitimate, it would be popular for offering so many options. The reviews are fake. Stay away — I’m warning you!”

These are the most inferior shoes I’ve ever seen in my life — and I grew up in a place where fake products are everywhere. What I received was absolute rubbish: hard, loose, and reeking of paint and plastic. They took over 4 weeks to arrive, and the quality is so bad they’re going straight in the bin.

I’m genuinely upset because I saw the reviews before buying them and they were not that bad (4 out of 5 stars) but now I think maybe they are self generated reviews. The pictures online look great, but don’t be fooled, what you get is nothing like what’s advertised. Please don’t waste your money. This company is a scam, and you’ll regret buying from them just like I do.

Loved the boots just as expected them to be

I love the being able to customise my shoes and I love the shoes I received! The delivery was a little slow but, when I emailed to inquire about the ETA, I was provided with assurance that the shoes were on their way.

What made my experience great was the easy ordering of the boots, this was my 1st time ordering from Girotti. The website was great easy to understand. What surprise me about this website is all of the shoes are made to order. Now I have a new shoe site I can order from. Thank You!!!

The customer service for this company is the worst I have ever dealt with. I have bought two pairs of shoes. The first took three months to get. Other than the delay (I ordered them beginning of November and received them end of January) it was fine. The second did not fit, and I immediately contacted the company offering to return them at my cost to exchange for anything. They refused. They wanted me to video myself walking in the shoes to see that they did not fit (I kid you not). This was a $335 purchase which I cannot use. Please do not expect any assistance or customer service.

Easy ordering experience and shoes were delivered in a timely manner. They are beautiful and I look forward to wearing them. Just have one small issue and it's that the straps don't have enough holes in them so I'll need to go to a shoemaker

The shoes are comfortable and fit me well - I have quite broad feet and the 41 size is perfect.

I love the colors and style. The width is a tad tight for me, but I’m not overly concerned. Construction of the show is top notch!
