RFID CHIP FAULTY
The return policy is really bad: no refund if opened, they take 20 percent from the total and you are responsible for shipping. Considering the chip is faulty and the RFID chips are not recognized as valid on my 2025 LG fridge this is not good enough and they do not measure up. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMOANY

First, I want to acknowledge how disappointing it must be to purchase a filter for your brand‑new 2025 LG refrigerator, only to find that the chip is not recognized. You expected a product that works seamlessly, and we failed to deliver that for you. I sincerely apologize.
About our return policy
You are correct that our standard policy does not allow refunds on opened filters, and we charge a 20% restocking fee plus return shipping. Please understand that this policy exists because opened filters cannot be resold – for hygiene and safety reasons. However, I completely agree with you that when a product is faulty (like an RFID chip that doesn't work as advertised), the policy should not stand in the way of a fair solution.
What we have done (and will do) for you
I understand that our support team has been communicating with you about a refund or replacement. Please know that we take chip compatibility issues very seriously.
We are listening, and we are improving
Your review has been shared with our product team. We are actively testing our RFID chips on newer LG models to ensure compatibility. We are also reviewing our return policy for defective products – because when we make a mistake, you should not have to pay for it.
Again, I am truly sorry for the trouble and frustration we have caused you. This is not the experience we want any customer to have. Please give us one more chance to make it right.

I ordered 4 filters for a GE 4 door…
I ordered 4 filters for a GE 4 door refrigerator with a RFID chip at a price that was substantially less than the GE genuine filer. Unfortunately, the filters provided did not work. However, the response by the Customer Service team to my e-mail, was excellent, including a full refund of my purchase.

We love our Glacier Water filtration…
We love our Glacier Water filtration System. We’ve been using it for a couple of years now. The water feels clean when showering and tastes fantastic. In my opinion it does as great of a job as very expensive filtration systems! I would recommend Glaciers products to anyone.

Great Customer Service
I would like to share an amazing customer service story with you. I needed a GE compatible water filter for my fridge. I previously had a bad experience with compatible filters from another manufacturer and once I also had a fraudulently advertised one. so, I was gun shy if this would work since their price is very attractive, about half of what GE charges. I researched the model on their website to make sure it matched my filter. The filter model did match, and the fridge was the replacement model for mine which according to GE used identical filters.
The ordering process was simple, I ordered a bundle of three, and I received the filters promptly. The filters looked clean and I tried to install one, but it would not fit. The GE fridges filter is a pain to replace and the housing is fragile. I tried multiple times till it finally clicked but the housing door would not close. When I took the filter out and checked it side by side with the genuine GE filter, it was a quarter of an inch longer and that is why it would not fit.
I wrote a message to the Glacier customer support team. Don responded within the same day and asked for some information and my research to verify I have the right filters. I provided that and he handed the matter over to Sharon. Like Don, she was very professional and asked me to send a couple more pieces of information. Then she promptly wrote this off as a product compatibility issue (even though GE is the one who had provided the wrong information to me and possibly to them. Sharon then proceeded to process a full refund for the order.
The most important part of my interaction was the professionalism, promptness and high level of courtesy Sharon showed me as did Don. She did not give me any run around, was very polite, attentive and professional and genuinely cared that I was not having a successful experience.
Well, she got a customer despite this sale not going through. Glacier Fresh has a very good reputation, many quality products my friends have used and I will go back. These days customer service with a personal touch and real care is so rare and I am grateful for it. Thank you Sharon! Please thank Don as well.
