Do not use this company
I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the services provided by this company. Regrettably, I obtained insurance through Glover & Howe, a broker company, and subsequently experienced the loss of my camera within a National Trust park.

Upon contacting the broker, I was informed that they did not possess the serial number for my insured item, a detail that should have been recorded at the time of policy inception. I promptly provided photographic evidence of the product packaging, including the serial number, and a crime reference number from the police.

The following day, a representative from Covea contacted me, stating that a face-to-face meeting was required to progress my claim, asserting this to be standard practice. I questioned the necessity of such a meeting, as any pertinent information could be effectively communicated via telephone. Despite my inquiries regarding the rationale for this extreme measure, the representative repeatedly insisted on the in-person meeting.

As this requirement deviates from standard industry practices, I declined the request on principle and await a reasonable conclusion. Do not get insurance from this company as they will do anything nto get out of their responsibility. The insurance company they use Covea are just as bad as they are . I tried to save money by giving these smaller companies a chance but in the long run it's not woth the time and money . STAY AWAY

I've been using Glover and Howe for my professional camera insurance for over 20 years, which speaks for itself.
They have consistently been very friendly, extremely efficient and offer very good value as well. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

They always reply quickly, only had to do an insurance claim once but it all went through very quickly. I have full confidence in them.

I have contacted this company via their website and Email contact before and after Christmas requesting a quote. No contact whatsoever from anyone. I was told they where one of the best but if they dont repsind how can I insure my equipment. Very poor customer service.

I had to make some updates to my insurance policy today and spoke with Samantha. She was fantastic—incredibly quick to understand what I needed and very efficient in getting it done. It was a pleasure dealing with someone so helpful. Highly recommended!

Professional, proper coverage for the tools that make me my living. What more could you want? Luckily I've never had to make a claim but feel much safer with Glover and Howe than some company that will wriggle through a loophole and leave you high and dry if the worst should happen!

A great company which makes dealing with them easy. They still have people at the end of a phone line which allows you to add equipment even when you're out and about. They also handle any claims quickly and efficiently.

Tinu was excellent. This is my first time going for Camera insurance and the process was simple. Tinu made time for me on the phone to ensure I was comfortable with everything as well as sending over information onto my email so I could read through in my own time!

The communication with staff was excellent….and no automated answer machines!
