John Grant was one of the estate agents we considered when selling my mum's house after she passed away and based on that experience I recommended them to my son who is a first-time buyer and has just been through all the hoops of sorting out a mortgage. Unfortunately his experience yesterday left a lot to be desired. He and his fiancée had arranged an appointment to view a house (their first ever house viewing) and I dropped them down to the property a few minutes before the arranged time. They waited there for a bit but after a while no estate agent had turned up. They hadn't received an email, phone call or text to say that the appointment had been changed so they rang to office only to be told 'that property has been sold'. It wouldn't have been so bad but no explanation was offered or even a 'sorry' for their wasted journey. My son and his fiancée were so disappointed as this was their very first house viewing. Let's hope they have a better experience next time.

After every enquiry and every viewing I was given feedback, which I know doesn't happen with all estate agents. There is also online information available.
The whole process was handled courteously and competantly.
I would certainly use them again

I have the highest regard for Grant Estate Agents following a recent property sale. They had a very friendly but professional approach from start to finish: I needed some work done to bring the property up to a saleable condition and found Christine to be invaluable in this regard with great advice / local recommendations. Kerrie also handled the actual sale completion process very well. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone needing estate agency services.

Very professional approach. Made everything clear and discussed realistic pricing, based on extensive market research of similar properties in comparable areas.
First viewings happened 1 day after listing and reasonable offers received within 3 days. Sale agreed within 10 days of listing. Grant Estate Agents kept me informed of progress throughout the whole process.

Grants estate agents were great from the get go. Kerrie who we dealt with most is amazing. She made sure to keep us in the loop with everything that was going on and what was happening next, she also made sure to explain everything if there was something we weren’t sure about. She was quick at getting back to us regarding any questions or queries we had and nothing was ever too much hassle for her.
