Had a terrible experience with Magnet capital , heres a break down of my expences i had to pay to try and get a loan with them, £2000 fee for their work upfront, and additional £2000 would be payable when the loan was paid, £2400 for their surveyor to look at the house and write a report, £1600 for their solicitor fees, £2400 for my solicitor legal fees, after 3 months and over 100 emails being sent back and forward we gave up and did it ourselves, my opinion is to avoid this company
i'm sure Magnet will write a reply saying this is not the case and i was wrong etc... just stating my experience.

I am a broker. I tried to place a case with an alternative provider. All was going well but the underwriters felt uncomfortable to lend due to the building being 'Locally listed'.

In reality, the risk was very low, but still they declined to lend.

Magnet Capital took a common sense approach view the the locally listed situation and correctly lent to my client and I found that flexibility and discretion a breath of fresh air.
