THE RESORT ON THE BIG ISLAND WAS GREAT, UNTIL WE WERE LOCKED OUT OF ROOM FROM THE INSIDE.
ALSO THE SELF PARKING WAS $48.00 PER NIGHT WHICH WAS EXTREME, BUT THERE WAS NO CHOICE.
THE SUPERVISOR DID GIVE US A CREDIT DUE TO THE
DOOR FOR MY ROOM BEING LOCKED. WEW WERE
OUT OF THE ROOM FOR ABOUT 40 MIN, IT TOOK TWO STAFF TO GET US IN THE WIND WAS THE PROBLEM

Great value vacations puts together…
Great value vacations puts together great packages at reasonable prices. I would have never come up with a northern Italian Lakes vacation. But the website made it so appealing and the price was right! I had a wonderful time exploring a place I never thought or considered going to. I will book with great value vacations again.

Ireland - Beautiful country friendly people!!!
The lodging, specially the Grafton was top notch with the Woodstock being the last place finisher. The rental car was a Godsend. Gave us the ability to explore Ireland way beyond the capacity of local transportation. We even got a day trip to Belfast squeezed in. The flight scheduling was a bit taxing with and extremely long return flight. Cut it short by self determination - rescheduled to and earlier flight as stand by with no ticket price change. Yeah. The entire staff at the Grafton assisted with a lost phone retrieval - much thanks to their preferred taxi driver Tommy who went out of his way to secure it from another less than trustworthy driver. To the entire incredible staff - Ervin, Andrew, Olga. Gareth and the amazing concierge Noel and everyone else from house keeping to restaurant staff thank you for one incredible experience.

The train tickets were not communicated…
The train tickets were not communicated very well at all. First I called to see if I could move a time up and was told no refunds but I could pay over $200 per couple to buy another ticket. I asked how to read the train tickets and was told that I’d need to Google it. It’s written in another language. Then we get on the first train and we’re not aware that our seats are not guaranteed and we had to give up our seats and sit on the floor! That information would have been nice to know because it was embarrassing. I would have also paid to upgrade if I knew I’d have to sit on the floor for a 3 hour train ride.
The hotel in Vienna was not up to par. It was odd, way outside of everything, there was one flat pillow on the bed, and commercial grade carpet. So odd to walk on. We asked for an additional pillow and they could not accommodate us. The hotel is an old office building and just odd.
Our other 2 hotels were fine and we wish that our Vienna hotel was similar. We really got off on the wrong foot in Vienna with the train debacle and the weird hotel in the sketchy part of town.

Once rail tickets are issued, they are non refundable/non changeable so if you preferred a different train time you would have been required to purchase new tickets.
The tickets are actual tickets issued in the local language so the best option, we have found, to translate is via Google translate. We apologize if you took offense to this suggestion. With that aside, we will review on how we can present this better to our clients.

Beautiful hotel and beautiful people! The hotel was clean, delicious breakfast, friendly staff ( especially the front desk) and excellent location. The flights were good. No long delays between flights. The Italian lake area is gorgeous.

Great trip to Hawaii
We took a trip from San Francisco to Hawaii and Oahu through Great Value Vacations. The Outrigger hotels were great. Very accommodating on getting us in early and the locations were perfect. This was our second trip with Great Value and Outrigger and will definitely use them again!

Great value. Love the hotel locations. They were all in the heart of the city. I wish we were told about flying Economy light. There are luggage weight limitations and no food on Iceland Air. We made it all work.

We had an amazing trip! The excursions we're great. We loved most of our hotels. I will say that the last hotel in Dublin, The Bonnington, was a let down in comparison to the others. The location was not in a great part of town, safety wise. It would would have been nice to have more places that included breakfast as a part of the package. Other than that, everything was as advertised. And I'll definitely use this site again for future vacations.

Travel Insurance Was Useless When We Needed Help Most
We booked a trip to Italy through Great Value and also purchased travel insurance for peace of mind. Unfortunately, after arriving in Italy, we had a family emergency back home in the U.S. and had to return within hours of landing. We contacted Great Value immediately to try to change our flights or get assistance, but customer service was no help at all. We were told that because we had already boarded the original flight, there would be no refund despite having travel insurance.
We were only in Italy for about 6–8 hours before having to return home, and the lack of compassion or support during an emergency was extremely disappointing. This was our third time using Great Value, but after this experience, we will not use them again or recommend them to others. Travelers should carefully review exactly what their “travel insurance” does and does not cover before booking.

As outlined on our website during the booking process and in the Travel Protection voucher, the travel protection you purchased included coverage for pre-departure cancellations only and did not provide post-departure coverage. As a result, changes to your existing airline ticket were subject to the applicable change fee and any fare difference, which was communicated to you when you contacted us.
We understand that this situation was stressful and regret that we were not able to make the changes free of charge.

Disappointed with the hotel in Dublin
I was disappointed with the hotel provided, which was supposedly located in Dublin, but was actually north of Swords, nearly an hour away from the city. As a result, we opted not to stay at the hotel provided by GVV. Instead, we chose to pay for a hotel in Dublin out of pocket to avoid navigating the narrow, winding roads in the dark after a long night in the city. Additionally, we paid more for a better and shorter flight. However, the itinerary changed, and our flight ended up being the 13-hour flight instead of the 11-hour flight, and we did not receive a refund for the additional flight charge. Despite this, the trip was great, and Dublin was the final and most anticipated stop, but GVV fell short of expectations in Dublin.
