Guardian Storage Reviews 

I was selling my house in Pittsburgh and was relocating to another state. The closing on my new place kept changing, so the Guardian manager allowed me to eventually go almost day to day. He was very accommodating!

This facility is very clean, The staff is helpful and friendly. If I ever need storage again I will not hesitate to go back to Guardian.

This location has been very accommodating for my business storage and always are helping me make things easier. Their prices are very affordable and the facilities are always in great shape. Couldn't ask for more from them!

I had a storage unit with Guardian for about 8 months. It was a great location, very clean friendly staff. The great bonus is that they have a truck you can rent whenever it is available for use. I would use them again if I need a unit

Prices go up and up and up. Who knows where it ends. We are pulling out now that they've gone up twice in 6 months.

The old adage, "You get what you pay for" rings true for Guardian Storage on Centre Ave. I had to store my furniture for a week while I moved to a new place and these folks were great. The service staff in the office were great. They have a truck you can borrow. So, I loaded my stuff I to the truck at my old place and drove it to Guardian where they have an indoor loading dock. The carts they have for you are great for loading/unloading. The whole process was a snap. Plus, unlike outdoor places, I knew my stuff was safe as it was 4 stories up with a keycode access plus excellent surveillance. There are cameras all around and inside the building. I had no doubt my possessions would be safe. When it came time to empty my unit, it was just as easy as loading it up. The folks here are great.

Guardian Storage is a top-notch storage facility. There was even a raised loading deck so that my boxes could be transferred directly into a moving truck when it was time to move them out. I recommend this storage facility very highly. We had absolutely no problems while our household goods were stored there.

We live several hours away from my daughter's school and the thought of cleaning out my daughter's college apartment for the summer and hauling everything home was a little overwhelming (and then hauling it all back a few months later). Someone suggested storing the items near her college that she did not need over the summer. I did a lot of research and found Guardian Storage in Pittsburgh. It was indoors, climate controlled, clean and easy access (and 24-hour access). Saved us tons of time. Did not have to rent a truck, so saved us money in the long run!

My experience with Guardian was OK. I had one incident that occurred during the course of several months of rental, in which the management contacted me to tell me my neighboring tenant reported oil/ petroleum in their unit, and it appeared to be coming from my unit, and would I check it out.
I made a trip over as soon as possible, and assured them it is not from me. After hearing nothing, I contacted them again a few days later to see if the issue was resolved, and found out that the tenant who's unit was above mine had lawn mowing equipment that was leaking into my unit. No compensation, no notice, nothing to inform me of potential damage.

This is for the Guardian Storage on McKnight Rd near Pittsburgh. On the day we moved out of the storage unit, our moving company had to wait for 1 and 1/2 hours until Guardian got their driveway cleared of snow. It is a very steep driveway and no one could get up it. And then, when we finally got in and were loaded and ready to leave, the manager was gone. He was gone for several hours. Very bad service. I am waiting to get re-imbursed from Guardian for the added cost of the movers due to their waiting.

Prior to that day, our experience with Guardian was very good.

I had the privilege of being a customer at the Centre Ave location for years and I must say that Mr. John Hoburg and his staff were a pleasure to do business with. They ALWAYS treated me with respect and courtesy. Kudos to this location!

This storage facility is not the closest one to my home and it seems rather costly, however, I know that my items are secure, that the facility is spotless and the staff is attentive and accommodating.
Unfortunately the elevator in the building where my items are stored was not working for several weeks, probably close to a month. I had movers come in during that time and not having an elevator added to my costs substantially! I'm not sure what the problem was but I hope that they have it resolved and we will not be inconvenienced again.
Still, I would never store anyplace else. That's how good of an experience I have had with this Guardian facility

Guardian Storage in Monroeville, PA was clean, felt safe and the staff were very professional, cooperative and knowledgeable

Guardian provides all of what my company needs, from receiving packages from UPS to providing free wifi for our use.

The storage of my furniture worked out very well.

Profoundly unprofessional, unfriendly and left all of my possessions smelling of mothballs. The manager is curt and rude, and her employees were unable to do simple tasks like, say, process my rental paperwork.

On top of that, the entrance is seriously difficult to navigate with even the smallest moving truck.
