Shane is a total professional. Absolutely lovely guy, does a great job and actually takes the time to explain things so I you understand what needs doing and why. No attempts to upsell, sticks with the plan and no surprises. I'm keeping his number handy for any future work.

Superb service and expertise. I found Shane by pure luck as my door lock broke this morning. Within 2 hours I had a brand new lock fitted. Would recommend to anyone and I am very fussy. Efficient service, excellent knowledge of locks and a fair price.

Good local locksmith, given the Covid issues he arrived the following morning (for a non emergency) at a time to suit us, social distanced, and either wore gloves or continuously spirit gelled his hands to ensure suitable protection for all of us.

Shane came out at very short notice on a Sunday evening as our front door lock was broken. Excellent and very prompt service and would highly recommend. We won’t hesitate in asking Shane to carry out any further work if its ever needed but hopefully call in him in more sociable hours next time. Thanks Shane

Shane came out to replace the cylinder in lock on my Mum’s back door at very short notice when she lost her key. He also fixed the catch in the door, which took him quite a while, and charged a very reasonable amount, particularly for a Saturday. I was very impressed with the care he took to sterilise his card reader and everything that he had touched, and he clearly took social distancing seriously. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hales Locks again.
