The people that work there are great. Have been going there for years and have been very happy with the out come . Have been to Gaylord and Alpena MI. have good results from both.

OMG ya'll know I hate to vent BUT... Bilateral bka here since 2014. Been going to hanger clinic in Kingsport TN. 3 months ago they said they were gonna order new liners and parts for leg repair. Until today they have avoided emails and not returned calls. Finally got thru today only to find out my prosthetic left the practice 2 months ago, his replacement is uncomfortable working on an adjustable socket like mine and they have some of the parts but not all. Why couldn't they have told me this around the time he left?
Good news I was so tired of the run around I set up an appointment with a martin bionics clinic for the 30th.

I'll keep everyone posted in case chad and hanger abandons you also

HORRIBLE! My husband is an above the knee amputee. His prosthetic is how the gets around! Hanger has done his socket twice and the fit is still awful, it hurts, it makes red abrasions and rubs raw....their solution? Put a piece of foam in the bottom of the socket! He has to go in weekly for adjustments and the adjustments are not adequate and do not hold. Today they could not fix his knee, the reason...no one had the right phone???? This place is archaic, and the service level is so lacking there are simply no words. There is no sympathy or caring for those who depend on these devices to get around and live a quality life!

The wait time for visits was awful over 6 weeks, and followup adjustments I was told could get i within a week, little off there also, try 1 1/2 months and only one time slot. Absolutely the worst place to go. Not only did I get there to pick up my shoes they were never ordered so they tried to put me in a shoe on there back shelf not even my size. Then I have been there two times for adjustments and still hurt my feet tried toake an adjustment appt, out 1 1/2 months before able to get in. I told them I will cut the orthotic myself and adjust it myself. Do t feel these people even qualified or know what they are doing. Seemed like a guessing game to person adjusting orthotic when getting orthotic adjusted.

Since my last review I have gone to the ER because I Am unable to walk. X-RAYS DONE, negative. Vascular done, negative. Told Prosthetic caused my ability to walk.

SOMEONE BETTER DO AN INVESTIGATION BEFORE ONE OF US GETS HURT BADLY. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO THESE PEOPLE HAVE TO PROVIDE MEDICAL RELIEF TO OUR DISABILITY?

I was complaining for almost 6 months! NOW I'M UNABLE TO WALK 2 STEPS. I HAVE TALKED TO MANY MEDICAL PEOPLE THESE PAST 2 WEEKS AND CAN PRODUCE NAMES

Tried this location 2 years ago and they screwed up the nsiert. Had to remake and they still were not right. In 2023 went to the Tampa Hangar location, had no issues. They were professional and made sure I was satisfied.
Fast Forward to 2024 went back to the Brandon location and had new inserts made and explained I needed the inserts just as the ones I had made at the Tampa location. Picked shoes and inserts and the cushion to keep pressure off the wound was completely different. I was told by the young guy that these inserts will work. Well less than a week my wound opened up and it was because of the way the insert was made. My doctor couldn't believe what Hangar did. So I called the man in charge Lance and he had me come in. Made a new imprint of my foot to make new inserts. Came in last week he checked everything and said to pick them up the next day just stop by after 8 am. He had the office girl call me and advise he didn't have time and that I would have to wait. I told the girl I was leaving town and would be gone until around Sept 21.
I shouldn't have been surprised that this location hasn't improv Ed from 2 years ago. Now I am without proper support for my would and honestly I don't think that Lance or Hangar Clinci could care about my needs. What happens to those patients that have proshetics are they treated with the same disrespect?
Don't go to the Hangar Clinic in Brandon on Professional Park Drive. Even my doctor who is in the same parking lot a few doors down does not recommend this Hangar location to their patients.

The people who worked there made it great experience for me.

Please,please don't go to this place, I am still waiting on a brace for my leg after a month,I have went by there to check on it,they said it was there, paperwork mess up,they won't answer the phone 704-247-4134,they said they call, I checked my voice-mail nothing was on there from them. I needed my brace because my leg will lean into,the other leg,I walk with a walker,never will I go to that place on Latrobe drive.

I've been a client of Hanger Clinic for about 12 years my last purchase of a AFO ankle and foot support , Caused cuts in my calf as calf cup was too small and Arch support caused the bones in my right foot to change resulting in pain1 hour after removal. Just learned Hanger Clinic was repurchased by another company only interested in high profits and less patient care . Thinking they will refuse payment because it's a custom fit , even though brace doesn't fit

Complete whack jobs after telling what doctor wanted me in they wanted to do what they wanted and give me worse braces then before I walked out of plains location it has to be what they can make the most money on not what’s gonna help you plenty of other sales around screw hangar clinic

I have been going to hanger for a few years during my time with sores on both feet= then lost one set of toes. after that the shoes at first were good= then I was told the only shoes I could get were rocker shoes [ yes they rocked back and forth almost whenever I walked] 40 times or more I felt like I was about to fall. when I told hanger they said they no longer carried the other shoes. they order me a wire to wear in my shoe that had a bar that came up to stop me from falling. but it left deep lines on my skin and hurt= and no, I still felt like I was falling. I went back for 2 years and they still could only get me rocker shoes. the shoes I wear everyday are from 3 years ago.

One star is too high. Lauren in Morgantown office is extremely condescending and has no idea what she’s doing. I had terrible pressure wounds and she’d say it was fine since I’m not diabetic. Going almost cost me another amputation.

This company has very poor customer service. It failed to deliver service as contracted. The management foster a culture of horrible attitude and incompetence.

This company billed our insurance company $491.00 for an Orthopdic walking boot that Amazon sells for $96.00. Don't get scammed

First let me say thank you to Mark because he really listened to me. He has tons of experience and somehow he got replaced with this dude Casey. Casey told me that we had lots of options with new technology. Gave me a foot from 1997 and then I went to search and Medicare does pay for bionic knee for below the knee amputation. I attached the screenshot. Was never offered this option.

I've been with Hanger for 40 years and this last endeavor with you guys has been holy hell. My quality of life has been zero. I've had pain and agony walking with every step. The weird thing is is when I finally insisted and got angry that I deserve the hydraulic ankle that I asked for you guys told me that I was being inappropriate. I wouldn't be mad if you listened the first time.

I've been telling you for 4 months that this leg was not right. You tried to do everything in your power to make me keep that foot. By the way that foot is 20 year old technology so I'm pretty sure you either had it sitting in the back or you ordered it to upsell and it didn't fit my needs. Then you gaslit me to make me feel like it was my fault that this dinosaur of a prosthesis didn't work for me. I asked for the invoice because I don't feel like you ordered it. I think you got it off the back shelf where somebody else didn't want it and tried to pass it off to me. Why else wouldn't you give me the original invoices?

When Jeff's intimidation didn't work then he tried to tell me never to come back to Hanger. I'm never going back to your office but I'm definitely going back to Hanger and I'm going to have a long conversation with corporate about how Jeff chose to handle this. He tried to cover instead of actually do the right thing.The way you treat disabled people tells me that you shouldn't be in this line of business. You sold me something to move a product that you didn't need. That's why you can't provide the invoices.

Don't ever send somebody in for damage control when they don't know the situation because they're going to be humiliated the way Jeff was.If you would have done me right I would have let this go. Now it's my life's mission to make sure that everybody knows what y'all tried to do.You still owe me two smaller hybrid sleeves and two replacement hybrid liners. I want all the original invoices as well and if you can't give me the invoices I want the manufacturer and the date of purchase for you so I can confirm that you actually purchased these parts new for me. I tend to think that Jeff and Casey are the exception to the rule because I've been with Hanger Prosthetics for nearly 40 years and have never been treated this way.

Don't try to pass it off like you're doing a favor when you didn't do the job right initially. You didn't do anything for me other than what you should have in the first place. You made me suffer for 4 months. Then you were acting like I should have been grateful that you were doing what you should have done in the first place. You tried to frame it like you were giving me this prosthetic for free. Absolutely not! You need to go back and refund that first leg because it was an upsell and way more expensive than it needed to be. I need invoices for the first leg and the last leg so I can compare and give it to the centers for medicare. If you don't do that for me then I will just have them subpoenaed.

You can't kick me out because you don't do your job and expect me to stay gone. I will get all of those invoices and if I can't get them then I know y'all did me dirty. If you would have done the right thing when I told you this leg didn't work I could have let it go but the gas lighting was beyond horrific. Then when I didn't buy your BS Jeff told me not only not to come back to Pueblo which I already told him was never coming back so I don't know what he thought he was doing, but then he said never come back to any Hanger Clinic. I bet corporate would like to know that you're telling people who have been with your company for 40 years not to come back because you messed up and you don't want anybody to find out.

Our experience with the Hanger Clinic on Hamilton Boulevard in Allentown, PA, was entirely positive, and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. All staff were very courteous and professional, and the CPO who created and fitted my partner's ankle brace was not only highly skilled but deeply caring, not only about his client but also about doing whatever it takes to get the job done right.

Hanger clinic is the worst company. They have horrible products and horrible employees all around.

My surgeon recommended an orthotic support and suggested Hanger Clinic as a good place for that. My experience might help you understand why there are too many negative reviews, I was almost one of them until I fully understood the product.

I will start with the unique benefit they offer in orthotics. At no extra charge, they can make big adjustments to the orthotic. I am not aware of any other orthotic product that can be so significantly altered after being made. In my case, that turned pain and disappointment to pleasure and healing. :)

Background. The first version of the insert caused significant pain after using it for a short time. I figured I was "stuck" because other orthotics cannot be majorly- altered. I made an appointment to express disappointment with the product and see if I could get any part of my money back (medical stuff never is by why not ask?).

The clinician, a very bright and insightful person, was as disappointed as I was. It seemed to me it was not just a job to her; it was her craft. We carefully went over the problems with the orthotic. She left the waiting room and came back in about 20 minutes. The significantly-changed orthotics are so awesome I didn't even want to take my shoes off when I kicked back on the recliner.

She wanted me to ease into it over a few days, but it feels so great I will probably want to accelerate that. Many of us with foot problems/injuries struggle to find products that work, Hanger Clinic is often not our first rodeo, so to speak. As a result, it made me pretty cynical so when the product caused such pain, it was too-easy to be upset and just give it up and leave a scathing review.

I am very happy... delighted.. that I made that appointment. I feel that many (probably most) negative reviews are from people who didn't give them the chance to make their unique orthotic product work. I was almost one of them.

Do not use these people. They are are incompetent will wait for your insurance to run out of date at the end of the year before billing them so your insurance starts over for the next year. Do not use these people unless you like paying them extra money.
