Great company helping women make more sense of their bodies
Everyone at Hertility that I’ve interacted with have been kind and very helpful. The test was easy to do, results came back quickly, report was easy to understand. The follow up call wasn’t with the type of specialist I needed, so I emailed them and was able to change to the menopause consultant (which was why I took the test in the first place - to investigate my symptoms and possible perimenopause). The follow up call I had with Alison Anderson was extremely helpful and has made sense of a lot of conflicting advice I’ve had over the past year. I feel more informed and have a good plan in place for next year. Thank you 🙏

Supportive experience with Hertility
I have had the best most supportive experience with Hertility and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is wanting to understand their hormones and fertility. As a UK-based healthcare company, we follow recognised national and international standards when collecting ethnicity data, including the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) harmonised ethnicity standard, guidance from UNESCO, and the Pew Research Center. These frameworks are designed to balance inclusivity with consistency in healthcare data collection, and they are widely used across the NHS and UK research settings.
We recognise that no predefined list can capture every identity globally. For this reason, we always include “Mixed” and “Other” options, where individuals can self-describe in their own words if none of the listed categories feel appropriate.
Our intention is never to exclude or diminish anyone’s identity, and we continually review our language and options to ensure they are respectful, inclusive, and aligned with best practice in healthcare data collection.
We appreciate feedback like this, as it helps us continue to improve.

People at Hertility doing great job but the chat they choose to keep up and running is so disgraceful, simply a bad business decision to keep it available. I had a video call with Ella to help me with the blood sample as I had previously struggled to do this myself. Ella was so friendly and calm which automatically made me feel at ease as I hate using those finger prick things. Ella was clear and concise with how best to collect the sample, which made everything a lot easier and we got there in the end.
Thanks for being so patient it made all the difference. Couldn't recommend Hertility & Ella enough.

I wouldn't recommend unless your aim is…
I wouldn't recommend unless your aim is to get pregnant. I feel they don't really offer any advice for any issues outside of this and in the end i only got told to go to a GP anyway
Additionally, if you do this- would strongly recommend getting a nurse to come and take your bloods. It was impossible for me to do this on my own

Each kit comes with a set of instructions that are intended to support you with the blood collection and we also have a helpful video for those customers who prefer a visual aid. Similarly, on our app, we have a carefully curated Test Companion, which walks you through the test step by step, until you are completed. Finally, we also offer a free video call service where one of our Customer Care Specialists will provide you with tips the day before you are due to collect your sample, stay on the call with you whilst you are collecting the blood and talk you through the packaging and labelling process.
We pride ourselves on the high quality of services that we provide to our customers. The Hertility Hormone and Fertility test is a clinically curated and scientifically regulated test designed to enable each individual to gain an insight into their reason for testing and to provide actionable, guided next steps for their care.

Your Hertility results report is several pages long and It also includes a note from the doctor, a detailed breakdown of each hormone and its function, commentary on your specific levels, and most importantly, actionable next steps and clinically guided advice tailored to your individual health concerns. We can see that your report contains these personalised recommendations, which can be found in the ‘Care plan’ section of your report.
We have a duty of care to highlight the clinical indications of the results. I wanted to reassure you that you are not obligated to carry out the next steps that your doctor has recommended through Hertility. We do encourage all of our customers to take their results to their GP for further investigations.
We provide these additional services to ensure we are supporting our customers with accessible end to end care, as we are aware of the long waiting times that exist within the NHS, and the high costs with private clinics.
We're keen to support you and provide clarification on your results report with us. As this is a public forum, for confidentiality reasons we cannot discuss your case in more detail. We will reach out to you privately to explore how we can support you with your journey.

TrustPilot removed my review and sent me an email to ask for my personal info to verify that indeed I purchased from Herility. Yes, I did and I will not send my personal information and receipts to TrustPilot, even more so about a sensitive topic like ferility. So, hertility, thank you. Overpriced GP - disappointed
Blood test consultation was good but otherwise I just got told what I would at a GP appointment. My follow up call felt rushed and generic. Just got told to get further testing and pay more. They don’t take into consideration that paying for the hormone test in the first place is a big investment.

Lots of things went wrong
Lots of things went wrong. Starting with a printing issue on my form so I didntknow what to fill out, then multiple app issues meaning I couldn’t see the step-by-step guide, I couldn’t schedule a call, and I couldn’t even see my results for a while, and there was an issue with merging my accounts. Very disappointing considering the price of the whole process, and I wasn’t offered any type of compensation

We completely understand your disappointment when technical challenges disrupt what should be a straightforward health journey.
We’re very sorry there was an error that affected the textboxes of your lab form. We can see that our Customer Care Team spoke to you on the day of this issue and supported you to send off your sample successfully.
After reviewing your case, I want to confirm that all technical obstacles were successfully cleared, and your full doctor written results report was made available to you within 3 days of the lab receiving your sample.
We’re glad we could deliver the final result which is well within our advertised timeframe of 6 working days.
With regards to the technical difficulties faced using our app, we can see that this was escalated immediately to our tech team who actively used your detailed feedback to address the internal app functionality bugs to prevent this from happening to future customers.
