Disappointing
My experience and interactions with the staff was great, unfortunately after several attempts, I was not able to collect a successful sample and at a fully non refundable expense, this was expensive.
I feel this could be partially refundable as I was not able to use the service.
It is disappointing because we spent time, months, waiting to be able to test at the specific time. I have since been to my doctors who have been brilliant.

We’re so sorry to hear that you had trouble collecting your sample. We are aware that taking the test can be tricky for some customers which is why we have created a number of options to support our customers with their sample collection process.
Within every testing kit, we provide a step by step instruction booklet that includes pre-testing recommendations, helpful tips and we encourage customers to reach out to our customer service team if they are having difficulty during the process. Our Customer Care team is available to assist from Monday to Friday 7am-6pm and on Saturdays and Sunday from 9am-5pm with any issues customers may have when taking your sample. We mention in our instruction booklet that if you encounter difficulties after using two lancets, you should contact us for further assistance.
We also provide a video guide which supports our customers who prefer visual support. In addition, we encourage the use of our Hertility app which can be downloaded via the QR code provided to you in your test kit, which includes an interactive test companion that gives very clear instructions on each step of the testing process.
We also offer personalised 1:1 guidance via video calls, providing tips and tricks to ensure a successful sample collection. We have found these video calls to be very successful in reducing haemolysed samples and currently less than 10% of all of our samples fail when they reach our lab to be tested.
Unfortunately, as your refund request was made outside of our 30-day refund policy, we were unable to issue a refund. Our refund policy is readily available on our website and is in place to ensure fairness and transparency for all our customers. Had your request been made within 30 days of placing your order, we would have been happy to process a refund.

From start to finish, Hertility is a professional service. The app is the best I’ve used for articles, help and tracking. The test kit was easy to use and excellent quality. I contacted the team to let them know that due to a change in my medical condition I would not be completing the test. They therefore do not need to pay for my sample to be analysed in the lab or for my consultation and yet they would not refund a penny! Very poor service

Praise for Hertility and Midwife Tracy Hamilton!
I was a little dubious of Hertility when I first started with them given some of the mixed reviews I had seen for the blood tests; I had received it as a gift from a friend as she had no use for the fertility test as she was pregnant. I had to pay £25 to get the gifted blood test delivered and processed in my name but it was all super easy through Hertility’s customer support team, who also transferred her follow-up consult she has paid for.
Once received, the kit was relatively easy to follow, got the blood sample with less pain than a SneakPeak kit I had used in a prior pregnancy. I received the result within two days(!), with a basic report saying what was normal and what wasn’t, but there was also a pdf version which I could give to my GP; this made it really easy to get follow up blood tests done under the NHS. Because my results had come so quickly, the customer support team were fantastic in helping me with moving the follow up consultation I had booked to be sooner, particularly as I was now worried about an abnormal result.
I had the consult with Tracy Hamilton (RN/Midwife) – I chose her as she had a done her Masters degree speciality in pregnancy loss; this was the best choice I have EVER made. She was absolutely amazing in the consultation, so gentle, kind, informative – I couldn’t have had a better clinician looking after me. She was so sensitive surrounding my previous loss and how this now affected my fertility journey. She went above and beyond after the appointment too, going out of her way to support me when I had no one else and was at my absolute lowest. She may not be trained in mental health, but she clearly doesn’t need it as she is an extraordinary person, let alone a phenomenal nurse/midwife! I’m not really sure how to thank her enough and wish I could send her a gift in gratitude for all she has done for me; she kept me going day by day until the correct services could reach me, and I cannot ever thank her enough for all she has done.
If nothing else, Hertility did what it said on the tin and the customer service was VERY good, but really the true hallmark of excellence for this all is Tracy – Thank you so very much for everything (please pass this on to her!)

I had an awful experience with…
I had an awful experience with Hertility and agree with all the one star reviews saying they are nothing but a money making company and taking advantage of women who need help. Hertility admit that their at home kits are hard to take and can be stressful. I found every conversation I’ve had with staff to be fake and pretending to care, but in fact clearly they are copy and pasting answers and constantly trying to up sale other additional costs because their test kits don’t work, which they repeatedly admit. I attempted a second kit after the first failed and they convinced me to try another one, my partner who is a trained paramedic took time off work to help me take the test, and Hertility said they couldn’t test the sample. After two failed attempts with their kits I asked for a refund and was told it falls outside of their 30 day policy, so after months of waiting to test and get answers I’m left £150 down and traumatised by how this company treats women. There were more expensive clinics who offered testing within days and I wish I’d spent the extra and tried those. They spam with marketing about helping women but deep down aren’t helping at all with this service.

We take feedback very seriously and have done extensive research on our testing kits to make sure they are user friendly. We have also spent a significant amount of time making sure our instructions are applicable to all of our users, as blood flow when collecting is highly dependent on the individual. Great customer service
I couldn't collect my sample myself when I tried... Then I was sent a replacement kit and a lovely nurse helped me but again no success. Then a nurse called to my house at my convenience to collect sample and was successful! So very good customer service.

Such an amazing company
Such an amazing company. I struggled a little with getting blood so had to call them and the person I got through to was so friendly and helpful. I then spoke to a few people by email who were also super supportive. Where issues like this can be quite sensitive, the team were great. The results were easy to read an understand and even afterwards I felt like the next steps were so clear if I wanted to take advantage. Great company and customer service team. Have already recommended to friends.

I liked the fact that I was able to…
I liked the fact that I was able to take my blood test and send it off however it took a while for the blood results to come back and follow this I was advices to book an internal pelvic USS - when I clicked the attachment to book this scan it said it would cost me a lot of money for the procedure which I am not willing to pay after already paying for the blood test

Amazing Experience
The facility to call a member of staff to assist in blood collection was a huge help in collecting my blood sample, followed by the speedy process of receiving my results and follow up call with Victoria was such an enjoyable process. My follow up call with Victoria really put my mind at ease after reading through my results and an item being out of range Victoria provided complete reassurance that all was okay. I would recommend any woman curious or not about their hormones to take a test and learn about their body.

Your report also included ten personalised next steps based on your results, including tailored nutrition and lifestyle recommendations. This was all designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your health. Each report undergoes a rigorous quality check by our clinical team to ensure accuracy and relevance.
We also provide a Hormone and Fertility advisor call (An additional fee) for those who would like additional guidance and expert advice on their results and potential next steps. We understand that navigating health information can sometimes be overwhelming, and we are here to support you.
Please don’t feel obliged to go through Hertility for any of the recommendations, we encourage every customer to go to their GP first. You can download your lab report within the hormone page of your report and as we’re CQC regulated your GP should accept the results.

If you are interested knowing about your hormones
I’ve struggled with hormonal issues for as long as I can remember, and things only seemed to get worse during puberty — and even more so now that I’m in my late 20s. I wanted to understand what was really going on inside my body without facing the long waits at health centers, which is why Hertility caught my attention.
The service is reasonably priced, and I really appreciated the free call with their care team. They were incredibly helpful in guiding me through how to use the kit, making the whole process feel simple and stress-free. After sending back my blood sample, I received my results within two weeks, which was much quicker than I expected. The level of detail in my report was impressive — it covered everything I wanted to know, like my testosterone levels and insights on PCOS.
The only downside for me was the cost. It’s definitely on the pricey side, and the additional services can be quite expensive too. However, considering how long it would have taken to get these results through the NHS, I think it was worth it for the convenience and clarity it provided.
Overall, my experience with Hertility was really positive, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a more tailored, female-focused approach to understanding their hormonal health.
